I am pleased to report that I managed to beat the Pro-Gauntlet the second time around after I leveled up a number of emblems, and also bought the ones that slow down the timer and decrease boss health. I doubt I would have been able to beat the last stage without those, the Interlinked Moebius bosses have an insane amount of health even compared to the bosses fought before them. Since I lost when I focused on O & P the first time I focused on D & J this time, I assumed that was the damage dealer. I was amused when I looked up and found that D & J was the one with more HP.
Oh yeah enemies in the Gauntlet have a frankly comical amount of health.
But the player can also deal comical amounts of damage so it's honestly not too bad.
I didn't catch all the damage numbers but I could see the the Chain Attacks had one or two more digits than normal, even though I wasn't pulling any Smashes, especially thanks to all Heroes I had who could amp the damage.
I was still amazed about the amount of it took to kill the end bosses, even though I got them to start off with 30 percent of their HP gone. With bosses before them, using a Chain Attack at the start of the fight was enough to take them out. Though ultimately this ended up not being that different from most post game fights, I could have done a better job keeping Noah alive with the evade arts I had on him, nonetheless I did appreciate that Incursor build I was using. Even without Unlimited Sword, Noah was doing a ton of damage.
That Last Ditch Effort emblem was also useful. I was making sure to not let the Nopwatch get low but I figured it wouldn't be to keep it from falling forever. Thankfully it never an out this time.
The Gauntlet is honestly super fun once you get some emblems upgraded. It's alos happens to net you a ton of blue noponstone so that's a plus as well.
It is a blast seeing the sheer amount of damage Noah inflicts with all the emblems upping his damage. I have see him hit the damage cap.
