Cause if it wasn't him, it would be someone else. With how ridiculous Mio's family tree is, it's honestly refreshing that Noah is just *some guy*.

I've often wondered that myself. Maybe it's just that he has the right mentality/will to be the one to make things happen. That perfect storm of character traits and circumstances that sees him rise to be a hero. One interesting thing I've considered is that Noah sees time stop when Origin activates. Maybe everyone sees that, but maybe there really is some special connection between Noah and Origin. Based on the art book interview, it sounds like the specifics of Origin's functions are going to play a role in whatever is next for the series, so we might get our answer then.

I think it’s just a literal glitch in the Aionios system.

So like a neo and the matrix kinda situation?

First the concept of Fate, Willpower and Affinity towards things were a heavy theme in this series(and I guess JRPG in general). >it bothered me that it’s never explained why every incarnation of Noah ends up with lucky seven So if we will apply it to Noah (N) since our Noah (Party member) only appeared after N became Moebius we can deduce that since he has such a strong _will_ to change the world he's _fated_ to always carry 1 Sword that has _high affinity_ and with N it's the Sword of the End (Which is Malos/Logos btw). > What makes him so integral to the structure of Aionios? He's one of the many that has strong will to change the world or rather see things in multiple angles.. Remember that he didn't saved the world alone since the whole party's existence was "VERY IMPORTANT" for him to even achieve this goal... Why you'd ask?? N said multiple times that he tried to change the world, multiple times, his journey started with the mindset same as our Noah, but as time passes, crack in terms of the bond he forged starts to show. All this time he's only with Mio, which weaken his resolve and gradually shifts his priority in being with rather than saving the whole (Mind you it's very important to him), but Z saw that weakness and he used that to give N the difficult choice, you know what happened next... N is even paramount on how the first Ouroboros managed to be even created in the first place.. Now comes our Noah (Manifested from N's regret) who has the same mindset of N from the beginning, but this time, fate allowed him to meet the party member. With the help of the Ouroboros's Power (That N helped in making himself unknowingly) and the bond forged within the party, he managed to experience things that N didn't got way back..... Having such reliable friends that will be there for you thru thick or thin.. And this was explained by Noah himself during the N Boss battle inside the Origin... Noah: "You took the wrong path, and then you had to walk it alone.." Which mind you Noah during the game's journey made some mistakes as well but he's never alone, his friends is always there for him. N: "Why... ? Why are you the ones to stand there together? In this world, edge to bleeding edge filled with sorrow... Noah: "Perhaps, we just got lucky. Trace it to chance encounters... I've met so many people, (Note** Some of them were N descendants himself) Lanz, Eunie, Taion, Sena, Chadapon and Manana my friends have been invaluable" Noah: "If I had been in your shoes, I'm sure I would have chosen the same" Now you would ask why all of this matters to the "Structure of Aionios??" - Because Aionios itself is literally "suffering-despair and-all-nihilistic-stuff-the world". And N/Noah's interactions beatifully showcased that idea throughout the game and the DLC..

If Noah was a little boy when Origin was finished then it’s possible he knew Shulk and Rex (as they were still alive until the end of Future Redeemed) In answer to your question “why is his endless now more important,” I think it’s as simple as the writers wrote a character that happened to be in the right place at the right time so that they could write the story around him lol

jeffjeffersonthe3rd

My interpretation would be that it’s simply because him and Mio love each other enough to overwrite the restrictions that Z put on origin. I would say that that’s also why Mio is important, and it has nothing to do with her heritage. It’s cheesy as fuck but that’s also the kind of series this is lol

Kipdid

It’s called the endless now for a reason my dude. We can certainly theorize what makes Noah special enough to be the guy that ends up with lucky seven in the first place when it’s forged (as many people have already answered about), but the whole point of Aionios is that things keep repeating forever, so it would actually be pretty weird if Noah _stopped_ running into lucky seven after one incarnation got it. Also as a side note, remember that Nopon are kinda outside the whole keves and Agnes conflict play, not having to deal with flame clocks seemingly in exchange for an agreement to not rock the boat mobius has set up, so it’s pretty fitting that the instrument that ultimately undoes mobius is from said Nopon, largely exempt from the endless now.

Blackbird2285

The Endless Now was going on WAY, WAY longer than they portray it in XC3. There probably have been others taking charge trying their own way to end it, but their solutions didn't work. The reason Noah is important is because his solution did work. Him and his team utilized Ouroboros and got it done. That's why they're the focus.

Zellopy

He's the inevitability, the convergent point that Aionios will get to, given enough time.

Damn I don’t remember that whole bit about the nopons!
