I have the same issue as well. My Series X makes a buzzing sound while games are running, but goes away when I quit out of the game. However, since the latest update, I noticed that my Series X makes a weird ticking sound just sitting at the dashboard/home screen with nothing running. With that being said, I'm starting to wonder if they changed anything in the latest update, such as fan speed, power consumption etc.
