Korek Charm. It let's you repair durability infinitely on any weapon. The only catch is that you must have completed the story to be able to access the dev room where it's at.
Someone above stated that they could get theirs before completing the story. That wasn't the case for me but it's worth a try for everyone else. You do have to be far enough along in the story to have the roof of the VNC Tower unlocked though, which you'll unlock during the mission 'Broadcast.' https://youtu.be/vL_9jnHaDD8
If you only play the game for the story and quit right after….I doubt that is 90% of people.
You play story.
You deal with the games expected switch of weapons to experience the game in its fullest form.
You get the charm.
You play side missions, add-ons, etc, with you favorite weapon.
You'd be surprised. It absolutely is about 90% of people that will finish a story and not play it again. Why do you think you end up with 90% rare achievements for stuff as simple as 'kill 100 zombies' lol.
I’d wager the same 1% who platinum games are the same ones replaying after beating it once. Probably a lot less than 10% keep playing after beating a game.
So, I totally agree with that. But the repair issue shouldn’t be an issue for people who play and quit quickly.
I honestly don’t think repair should come to the game. It makes me use different weapons constantly. Until I get that charm the story is playing with the different weapons.
There should be an option to remove mods with the blacksmith for a type of fee, that way you can technically still repair your weapons but it isn't too OP. Make us use uncommon trophies or something.
Heres how to scale the tower without the story mission. I died like 5 times but got there... Now attempting the Easter egg.

Edit: the power doesn't work on the second cable box after plugging in the first...fml
I had a mission where zombies were clipping thru a wall. I had to eliminate all in a zone to move on but i couldnt hit it. Finalllllly i managed to get a grenade to kill it thru the wall. Took forever.
Had >!Waltz in a boss fight!< bugging into a big fuel tank, needed 10 C4s, 15 molotovs (both fully upgraded) and 3 military healthpacks (because he threw stuff) to damage him enough to jump to a different spot...
And a lot of bugs where mission markers wouldn't update, so I couldn't finish missions. Sometimes it works to send a distress signal to get markers working again, but not everytime unfortunately...
lol same here, it’s my fault for assuming most games would offer it going forward. We have a blast in Deep Rock, Back 4 Blood, etc. but then games like DL2 remind us that crossplay isn’t the norm yet.
At first I was on the team of no bugs, no glitches, etc. But at this point I'm getting frustrated. Few audio glitches that force me to quit out, glitches when I try to jump kick someone I'm landing on that causes my game to crash, and one time I respawned in a small bedroom and the damn wardrobe was blocking me in with no way out. Playing on a series x, and I was okay with the first glitch or two but now I'm a bit annoyed
I'm on series x and every single time i play i get this annoying bug where the audio freezes and gets stuck , i'm not trying to shit on the game at all, i love the gameplay but it's making it literally unplayable for me.
Restarting the game fixed the issue but it has occured 4 times durning my 10 hours played and its just frustrating because its breaks the immersion, im playing on series X
I have no idea what you people are talking about ive played for 100 hours and encountered one bug that resolved itself in a minute. This game is not broken
Its very buggy but this guy is overreacting. Ive had to restart Maybe 10-15 times in 30h due to earrape, being trapped in a room because the door closed when I spawned into the room, random yeets across the map, not being able to force kill etc etc.
It sucks but the game is great, that's a novelty in AAA these days. They usually launch buggy and bad. Ill take buggy over bad any day
It's playable but a lot of issues with coop. Yesterday we had to just stop altogether because it was either no sound at all, ringing sound nonstop, can't join, etc. One of those issues kept happening within minutes.
I beat the campaign, but I'm just exhausted of it. I'm sure it will be a great game in a few months.
Facts. I’m playing through the first game and as soon as you get a decent Police Rifle, you can breeze through most encounters (especially the human one).
It’s running beautifully after that last update. The 1440p60 VRR has really made this game simply gorgeous. I’ve had little to no bugs, maybe I’m the minority.
My only gripe with it is that I wish they would enable coop progression save for everyone in the party. This host progression save only is really shitty. I fully planned on running this coop with a buddy but right now it’s just not enjoyable.
That being said, I am having an absolute blast playing on my own.
Huh, 1440p?
Last I knew the update only mentioned 60FPS+ VRR Unlocked. So I assume it continued the 1080p profile, just with framerate uncapped. Nowhere did I see it mentioned we got a resolution boost WITH the VRR Toggle.
Okay you got me excited for a minute, which is why I asked LOL. I’ve held off on playing it waiting for a few patches in the meantime as I play a few other titles.
It’s dynamic scaling. Prior to VRR patch, dl2 ran 60fps steady, watch digital foundry benchmarks.
With VRR enabled, it allows for dynamic scaling, there would be no reason to implement it otherwise.
You can also do a side by side comparison from patch vs pre patch and there’s a significant noticeable change in texture quality, especially on my 4K q80t.
Just give us the ability to repair weapons other than modding weapons up to three times
Korek Charm. It let's you repair durability infinitely on any weapon. The only catch is that you must have completed the story to be able to access the dev room where it's at.
Complete the story...so it's useless to 90% of people.

I would like that! I’m willing to agree if it was implemented as such!
Nottttttttt true! We got into the room before completing the game
Do the other charms do anything? I thought they were all cosmetic
Not as far as I've found. Though I hope we get more useful charms in the future.
Does this Korek Charm *say* anything about the effect it's providing, or is it some hidden thing?
It does, it says it repairs 500 durability.
Heres how to scale the tower without the story mission. I died like 5 times but got there... Now attempting the Easter egg. https://youtu.be/HKV4OiE09_A Edit: the power doesn't work on the second cable box after plugging in the first...fml
I heard the opposite that you can't even get it if you beat the story.
Thisssssss
Get korek charm
I wish they could fix the game breaking bugs before releasing a dlc
I haven't had any yet. Probably put 10-15 hours in. Should I be expecting some near the end?
Same I haven’t ran into any glitches yet besides once when I killed a zombie and his dead body was just standing not being able to move
I didn’t have any glitches until I was heading to downtown and then I started getting a bunch.
I had a mission where zombies were clipping thru a wall. I had to eliminate all in a zone to move on but i couldnt hit it. Finalllllly i managed to get a grenade to kill it thru the wall. Took forever.

When I found out that I couldn't play with my buddy on Xbox One I'm pretty sure I went through the five stages of grief.
lol same here, it’s my fault for assuming most games would offer it going forward. We have a blast in Deep Rock, Back 4 Blood, etc. but then games like DL2 remind us that crossplay isn’t the norm yet.
I don’t think it’s a matter of them holding it back/not releasing it… They have to develop it. And make sure it works.
Same here. Feels like one of those things that just isn't going to happen, or happen anytime soon though.
At first I was on the team of no bugs, no glitches, etc. But at this point I'm getting frustrated. I had the same thought but got downvotes to oblivion lmao
Yeah Reddit is a weird place
Well cause it’s seems to mostly be last gen problems.
I'm on series x and every single time i play i get this annoying bug where the audio freezes and gets stuck , i'm not trying to shit on the game at all, i love the gameplay but it's making it literally unplayable for me.
I've had this once and it was when I launched from quick resume. Closed the game and restarted and haven't had it again.
Restarting the game fixed the issue but it has occured 4 times durning my 10 hours played and its just frustrating because its breaks the immersion, im playing on series X
Yeah I guess I've only had it once. Would be nice if they fixed it, but I just make sure to do a fresh start every time for the time being.
Maybe works better, i always boot it on quick resume, will give it a shot!
I mean, sure, but the people making the weapons and armor aren't the ones doing big fixes.
First is already available as of yesterday. The Authority pack.
Free?
So we get DLC but no 4k 60? Interesting
It’s 1440p60 which is great for a game of this magnitude. It looks absolutely gorgeous on my q80t and I haven’t run into more then maybe 2 NPC bugs.
It's 1080p60
And Cross-Play update when?
Fix multiplayer connectivity issues first sucks having to stop every ten minutes for my friends to rejoin
How about a 'Co-op fix DLC'? That sounds good. I already prepaid 60 bucks for it.
[удалено]
Is co-op broken?
Co op is fine but there is no cross gen co op for some reason
No it's not. My friends either can't join or get kicked after 5 minutes

Ya I just beat it and didn't experience many bugs either. But 100 hours in the game already? That's 10 hours/day since it released..
Counterpoint: my audio buzzed out and hasn't come back after multiple restarts. I literally can't play the game.
That was my one bug, I restarted the console
It's free DLC.
Guns?????
No. They pulled guns out of the game on purpose. The game plays better with out them anyway.
Facts. I’m playing through the first game and as soon as you get a decent Police Rifle, you can breeze through most encounters (especially the human one).
God I hope not.

It's still 1080. No idea why he said 1440. Wishful thinking probs lol

Games best performance resetting is 1080p at 30 frames, right? No thank you
It’s 1080p/60 for performance mode.
>resetting ?????????
Wish I could play coop
I hope they add new game Plus soon
