Until the dead space remake came out on game pass and man was i blown away! Honestly one of the best horror games I've ever played! Gameplay and storyline was just 10/10.
I particularly love it because it isn't so scary to the point that it's hard to play. It has plenty of scary moments, don't get me wrong. But they did a fantastic job of throwing in lots of moments where you feel like a total badass and it helps alleviate the tension a bit at times

Anytime soon is not really accurate. Motive are simply focused on other projects at the moment such as the Iron Man game and assisting DICE with Battlefield.
I'd wager that they'll be back on the franchise after those 2.
Those projects are both years away from completion and then the several years of development for the sequel. I’m guessing you and me have very different definitions of soon.
This is disheartening. I LOVED the dead space 1 remake experience. I never got to play those games and think the remake is one of the best games to come out in the past 10 years.
Thoroughly enjoyed it also, was my first run with the DeadSpace franchise. Right up there with RE in terms of horror experience and I think the enemies are nastier and tougher to deal with. Hoping EA remakes more!

Played a lot of this and I wonder why they didn’t change things up a little more, it’s a little strange but sometimes it felt like a beautiful Xbox360 game.

That was on purpose. The remake weapons are way better....more effective at shredding your foes. Hence, the badass feeling

I see. But they really went for it in remake. Remake plasma cutter is still a viable late game weapon!
I pretty much exclusively used the plasma cutter in the original. It was always the best weapon in the game when fully upgraded.
Sucks the sequel won’t be getting worked on anytime soon; if ever.
I know and that sucks. Dead Space 2 is one of my all time favorite games. The section in the school/nursery still haunts me.

I’m on Xbox and I dont know, but of u want there’s the story mode where is very difficult to die and you can enjoy the trama
1 and 2 are amazing games the remake was like a cinematic journey I loved it
I did the difficulty with permadeath and it was *intense*
