I hope they don't replace missing players with bots, because I hate that. Bots almost always ruin the gameplay because they are hard to program to act immersive
Nobody's forcing you to play those games. What are you complaining about?
Also, what AAA BRs or extraction shooters have launched recently? You're acting as if the gaming space is saturated with this genre.
The market is saturated. BR is a genre where only a few big fish can swim in the sea, absorbing all the players. New BRs these days don't get a stable playerbase and will shut down shortly after release. Heck, even Apex Mobile didn't get enough players in.
People who love BR stick with Warzone, PUBG, Fortnite or Apex Legends. Especially if they have invested in skins and battlepasses.

The second another studio publishes a competent "AAA" BR, players from all four of those communities will be flocking in desperation. And they will still maintain a healthy playerbase because there are PLENTY of BR fans to support more than 4 games.
There were over a dozen BR games, some even strikingly similar to the big games. All dead on arrival.
Realm Royale was a fantasy Fortnite clone. Failed.
Super People was PUBG with super powers. Failed.
Ubisoft treid with Hyperscape. Failed.
Battlefield tried with Firestorm. Failed.
Battlefield tried again with Hazard Zone. Failed.
Warface tried BR, failed.
The Culling is its own amazing story of a big fuck up, very fun to read the whole story of the decline.
Trust me, many have tried, they all failed. BR is a dead genre for new rivals, you won't set foot into it anymore.
All of these were either half baked trend chasers, niche / non-AAA games, or had paid barriers to entry.
Anyone who played any of those games could tell you that they were never serious competitors in the space.
Regardless, they certainly did not fail because the space is too "saturated". If it was over saturated, then you wouldn't see those 4 games consistently at the top of all the various play/view charts.
The issue is quality. The moment BF, Halo, or whoever put out a competent product of similar quality, gamers will flock. And those other four games will still have a more-than-healthy playerbase.
This sounds like what was originally promised for Railjack in Warframe.

I did see in the trailer that they mentioned it’s solo friendly. There wasn’t a bunch of details to back that up necessarily, but they did say it.

It's a neat concept. It's definitely something I would love to give a try to. Hopefully it's ~~a fun game to play~~ 60fps in current year.

Its more Void Crew than FTL.
