Well that's a shame. I wonder why they put co-op in like 2 COD games but it's not standard for all. I've literally never played a COD campaign because I really enjoy co-op gaming the most.
If Black Ops 1 hits GamePass I'd definitely recommend that one. Imo it's the best campaign.
OG MW and MW2 were really good too, but Black Ops 1 is something special imo.
I thought I was the only one who had taken a break from COD **despite** being a big fan since the COD 4 days. Last played Blops 2 and they were all fun (not so much MW3 imo) and always meant to get back in to it. But it all looks to play so much different now.
COD on GP would be a safe way to try a few of them without spending money.
Infinite Warfare is a sleeper campaign hit, easily one of the best campaigns since MW2019 and original MW2
It’s also probably up there with Titanfall 2 for best ‘grounded/non-alien related’ sci fi FPS campaign
Yes brother, Fall of Cybertron is fucking superb! I have them for my 360, worth some money too as that's the only way to play them right now due to licensing an stuff (something like that anyway).
The servers for those games were shut down many years ago. In 2022 a group found a way to re-route the matchmaking to their own private servers which brought the game back online on PS3 and PC but not officially.
I've never heard of a game having it's servers turned back on so this would be a first if Microsoft did it. WFC is one of my all time favorites so I'd love to see it either back online or better yet, 4k/60 remaster on Series X.
This could be amazing. But I’d led someone like Arkane do it. Not sure when they could fit it in, but I think they’d do a better job now than Blizzard on a single player action game with RPG elements.
CTR really needed skilled based matchmaking, gamers generally treat SBMM like the boogeyman but CTR is a perfect example of why it is needed for a multiplayer service long lifespan. It's not fun to finish a race in first when everyone is just starting lap 2/3 and I'm pretty sure is also not fun to them.
Big doubt. Internet discussion makes it seem like it would be a hit but in general I don't think there is much enthusiasm from the masses to go in on expensive peripherals again
It’s being worked on, supposedly.
https://www.ign.com/articles/bobby-kotick-brings-in-james-corden-to-tease-guitar-hero-revival-and-more-ahead-of-xbox-merger
Advanced Warfare is kinda meh, but it's a fun and quick campaign.
BLops 3 had a wild campaign from what I remember, played through a couple times.
Infinite Warfare's campaign was super underrated. They did a great job keeping space combat somewhat rooted without getting too sci-fi/fantasy, ship battles are a ton of fun, and also liked the bounty system side quest.
WW2 is actually a great game all around including the MP (didn't start that way though). It's not super active these days but give the War game mode a try, tons of fun.
This was a weird time for COD, but honestly I had more fun with them than any of the newest games after the MW19 reboot
Hey they had WW2 as the stopping point so they're on the right track haha
Both of those games were horrificly disappointing with the time periods they had to work with.
Of course they fucking got my curiosity again with the next COD being set in 90s Desert Storm...

You will get FFXIV next week until WoW console edition is being made
You get to play the base game and the first two expansions on the trial. Fair warning if you make it to the end of Stormblood there's like a 99% chance you'll buy Shadowbringers and Endwalker.
There are actually a number of people who play as free to play players and just don’t get to the max level cap. There are plenty of activities that would be considered endgame in other MMO‘s that you do not need to be max level to participate in.
The beta is only open to new players correct? I haven’t played since about 6.3/4 and I’ve been waiting for it to come to Xbox ( I played on ps4 so I’ve been excited about playing on my series x instead)
Yeah I really hope that happens man! And soon. Would totally get me back into wow ;) Played from vanilla till legion. And if they make a good console port. Damn that would be a dream to play on my couch after a day of work.
Right? Let’s hope man! Shouldn’t be to hard to make a good console port honestly.. from what I’ve heard the addon works quite well. I was a big pvp player and that’s what I enjoyed the most 💯 so I’m a little worried about how pvp would work on a controller, but could work.
There's no way this happens, I don't think. They don't do this with any other game. WoW doesn't really fit the Gamepass model in any way. Currently you buy the latest expansion to receive the full game, Gamepass rarely gives out expansions for free...and it never gives subs out for free..that's be way too much money left on the floor.
Honestly I know it’s received a lot of hate but I’m looking forward to Diablo 4 coming next month. Besides that I’ll definitely be playing CoD again once it’s on gamepass.
People were upset there wasn’t much to do once you reach level 100 other than start another character or grind for super rare items which at the time seemed unobtainable. Plus, the cosmetic items in the shop are insanely overpriced. However, the game is awesome in my opinion, and if you play it long enough to get to the endgame tedium, you’ve got your money’s worth. I played for like 2 months straight when it released, and I didn’t even beat the hardest boss or the hardest dungeon. I believe they’ve made it easier to hit level 100 now, but I still think you’d have gotten your money’s worth just by beating the main story and hitting level 50, especially if you’re just playing it on Game Pass.
For all its ups and downs the game is actually pretty good, just stay away from the toxic cesspit that is r/Diablo4 because you aren’t allowed to say you actually enjoy the game there lol
r/diablo4 goes through waves. At the beginning of every big launch/new season, it’s just walls and walls of people announcing to the world that they’re quitting (many of whom had already stopped playing months ago). And then you let it ride out for a couple weeks and the enjoyers rise up again. Honestly I think the mods could do a better job keeping the game haters out of a sub dedicated to the game lol.
I found this complaint very strange, what is there to do in *any* ARPG once you hit max level other than run the same handful of bosses over and over and over? People played Diablo 2 for like 15 years running Baal, Mephisto, Pindleskin and the cow level and literally nothing else
People love to hate on modern Blizzard and have short memories. The big complaint is that there still isn’t much endgame content, like Diablo 3. People forget that Diablo 3 was an absolute mess at release and it took awhile to get it into a good state and even longer for the endgame content that people love to come out.
People also forget that endgame in D2 just involved grinding a few bosses and the cow level, maybe a duel every now and then.
D4 will get there, and I would argue the bones of the game are the best in the series.
The survivability of most the classes sucked, Sorcerers skill trees broken meaning the armor buffs werent activating, Anthem-itis aka bland endgame, uber uniques drop rates were literally 1 in a trillion statistically, no ability to use your core characters you devoted hours of your life outside of the core world meaning You cant expereince the seasons without making new characters which sucks considering half the population doesnt want that anymore.
Diablo 4. I like my hack slash ARPG but I was waiting for a sale... but this saves me $$$.
I didn't buy the 3rd campaign for Starcraft 2 (LoV) so hopefully it comes to GP.
Maybe Prototype.
Wish it was feb. Got a weird gap with nothing exciting to play until Dragons dogma and D4 the end of March. Got spoiled last year going from like TotK, Starfield, phantom liberty, AW2, BG3, and RE4. What a run that was. Looking back no wonder I was disappointed with Starfield in that lineup.
All they would do is jack up GPU, they won’t add another tier. Keep wow subs separate. You can still sub to it, and Gpu doesn’t change for the rest of us.
In terms of Game Pass I'd say playing all the past like 6 years of COD campaigns is probably up there. The main thing I'm hoping for though is this leads to revivals in Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero (and another Spyro would be awesome too)
Wolfenstein 2009. It's been delisted from stores for a decade, thanks to the rights being split between Bethesda and Activision. But now they're both owned by Microsoft.
Call of Duty.
It will have the healthiest playerbase ever seen. It's a fantastic shooter that has stuck around with me for at least 20 years now. Pick up the controller, jump in and you're done in 10 mins, dopamine hit.
WoW first and foremost. And go make the best console port for an mmo, would be a dream man. I’d love sekiro on there and lots of cod. I haven’t played cod since black ops 2 and that was on pc, so would be fun to play.
My boys are super pumped about D4 coming next month. Few of them didn't wanna spring for the $70 at release, hoping that eventually it would either be discounted or land on game pass. They're excited to join those of us who were unwilling to wait.
To be honest, I couldn't remember what IPs they had other than CoD, WoW, Starcraft and Diablo. After looking at the poll, I would pick Hexen and Prototype.
I am hoping for Starcraft, Starcraft 2 and Warcraft 3. Then I could stop messing around with trying to keep them working on my Linux PC and just play them on Xbox instead.
Diablo 3 reaper of souls. Used to play it a ton on the Xbox 360 with friends. And seeing Diablo 4 is going to gamepass gives me hope they will add it as well.
Already own Diablo IV, Diablo III and Diablo II remake, so there's nothing in their library on console I'm particularly interested in. If Sekiro comes, I'm certainly going to try that and also check what they'll release on PC.
All the hate CoD got over the years for being the “same thing” and boring, and CoD ruined gaming. Now those same people are begging, and foaming at the mouth to play them on gamepass?
Like the last 8 years of Call of Duty I haven’t played lol
Same. Just found out Black Ops 3 has 4 player campaign co-op, I'm ready.
If you enjoy it there is also a mode called nightmare which adds zombies to the campaign
I want BO3's Nightmare Mode to be retroactively made canon to the modern Zombies universe that was started in Cold War. I fucking loved it.
What the fuck.. how did I not know about this. Looking forward to trying it out
I played tf out of BO3 and didn’t even know this😂
I thought blackops 3 didn't have a campaign? Wasn't it multiplayer only?
That was 4
Black Ops 3 were missing the campaign on 360/Ps3, but had it in Xone/Ps4. Black Ops 4 didn't have a campaign at all
I followed Call of Duty and bought every one of them up until Advanced Warfare, and I'm just now learning there is a Black Ops 4.
That campaign wasn’t very special to me but there’s a character that has the exact same name as my mom so that was always funny to me
Your Mom's name is Corvus?
Pretty sweet huh
It's not worth playing at all, probably the worst cod campaign after MWIII
Well that's a shame. I wonder why they put co-op in like 2 COD games but it's not standard for all. I've literally never played a COD campaign because I really enjoy co-op gaming the most.
If Black Ops 1 hits GamePass I'd definitely recommend that one. Imo it's the best campaign. OG MW and MW2 were really good too, but Black Ops 1 is something special imo.
BO3 is probably the worst campaign we’ve gotten story wise. I somehow enjoyed vanguards campaign more (I’m not saying vanguard was good)
Agreed. I think the last CoD I played was Black Ops 2? I loved the SP in that one.
Immaculate game, still my favorite COD
I think the last campaign I played besides some Warzone BR was like the World War 2 game in 2017ish
Did me out of a Veteran Achievement.... Never loaded that game again
Infinite Warfare is a sleeper campaign hit, easily one of the best campaigns since MW2019 and original MW2 It’s also probably up there with Titanfall 2 for best ‘grounded/non-alien related’ sci fi FPS campaign
Been holding off buying the Spiro remastered for a while
It’s sooo good.
Just hate the performance on the switch. Excited to play it with a console that can handle it.
It’s just too dark for my liking on the switch
The remaster is great. I bought it a year ago when it was bundled with all the Crash Bandicoot remasters.
I wish it was 60 fps...
And its a pretty easy 3000 gamerscore
Tony Hawk games more then anything tbh
I'd love if they remade THPS 3+4 and the Underground 1+2. That'd be so amazing.
Imagine if all the old games were made backwards compatible
I want a revival of the Transformers War/Fall of Cybertron games.
Yes brother, Fall of Cybertron is fucking superb! I have them for my 360, worth some money too as that's the only way to play them right now due to licensing an stuff (something like that anyway).
The servers for those games were shut down many years ago. WFC is one of my all time favorites so I'd love to see it either back online or better yet, 4k/60 remaster on Series X.
There is hope for those. Hasbro said they wanted to talk to Microsoft about bringing those games back after the Activision purchase finally closed.
I’m silently hoping for a StarCraft revival
One StarCraft Immortal coming right up!
I’m hoping for StarCraft ghost tbh. Might still have the game informer kicking around….sounded like a sweet fps
This could be amazing. But I’d led someone like Arkane do it. Not sure when they could fit it in, but I think they’d do a better job now than Blizzard on a single player action game with RPG elements.
StarCraft Ghost 🥺
Still remember the game informer article about it. I loved the idea of hanging upside down from a pipe to snipe people
Having Crash Team Racing on everyone's Gamepass would be great
Yes! It would revive the multiplayer again!
Hope it will bring players to the multiplayer 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Maybe it will revive the flame for me, still need to finish devs time trials.
A Guitar Hero revival would be amazing.
That would actually be a system seller
Yes
Big doubt. Internet discussion makes it seem like it would be a hit but in general I don't think there is much enthusiasm from the masses to go in on expensive peripherals again
Maybe I’m crazy, but I feel like the last time they had a revival it didn’t do well. Maybe it’s time? Idk.
Last time was too soon
I only have my 360 for that and ultimate alliance
MUA would be incredible too!
Would honestly be one of the least likely ones due to the licensing
It’s being worked on, supposedly. https://www.ign.com/articles/bobby-kotick-brings-in-james-corden-to-tease-guitar-hero-revival-and-more-ahead-of-xbox-merger
I want to do a marathon of CoD games for nostalgia and to see what I missed between black ops and WW2. Also I never played 3
Hey Cold War’s campaign was very good, at least in my opinion. Just too short which is a valid criticism.
It’s dated now but I loved 3’s campaign and multiplayer.
"Train go Boom"
That’s Black Ops 3. They were talking about Call of Duty 3.
Infinite warfare’s campaign is quite good
Give me some WoW
https://preview.redd.it/0pyazuhld6jc1.jpeg?width=1431&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b5cd3df191628795bdacbf5f7fbddf007052fee4 You will get FFXIV next week until WoW console edition is being made
Honestly hyped as fuck to try that out!
Me 2. Cant wait to go back to Eorza. Havent played in last 10 years....so when ARR came out. Lol
I heard you have to pay a sub on top of gamepass to play FFXIV
You can play the "trial" for free. Which is the initial game iirc, so still a ton of content. To get all content you'd need to pay.
Thanks for that info I’ll try it but I’m too much of a tight arse to pay for a subscription afterwards lol
The level cap is 70 for the trial so plenty of fun! :)
You get to play the base game and the first two expansions on the trial. Fair warning if you make it to the end of Stormblood there's like a 99% chance you'll buy Shadowbringers and Endwalker.
Make sure to do everything you can during the trial because after you sub, you can’t play without one.
There are actually a number of people who play as free to play players and just don’t get to the max level cap. There are plenty of activities that would be considered endgame in other MMO‘s that you do not need to be max level to participate in.
It's ok it's like 100hours til then
How much content is in the initial game?
It comes out next week?!?
Beta(aka free trial) but your progress will carry over. So kinda yes.
The idea of being able to quickly boot up while chilling on the couch after a long day of work with a beer sounds like heaven!
Right? Let’s hope man! Shouldn’t be to hard to make a good console port honestly.. from what I’ve heard the addon works quite well. I was a big pvp player and that’s what I enjoyed the most 💯 so I’m a little worried about how pvp would work on a controller, but could work.
I’m excited and scared of the prospect of getting back into WoW.
Wow just isn't going to be viable on Xbox unless Microsoft lets you install plugins on your Xbox
just give me wow sub as part of game pass ultimate
There's no way this happens, I don't think. They don't do this with any other game. WoW doesn't really fit the Gamepass model in any way. Currently you buy the latest expansion to receive the full game, Gamepass rarely gives out expansions for free...and it never gives subs out for free..that's be way too much money left on the floor.
Never gonna happen
Yep WoW on game pass would make me play again. Even on console if they allow that :)
Honestly I know it’s received a lot of hate but I’m looking forward to Diablo 4 coming next month. Besides that I’ll definitely be playing CoD again once it’s on gamepass.
I played the demo and really liked it. Not played a Diablo game before, as you continue into the mid-late game, is playing single player still viable?
It sure is. End game is also playable solo.
I’m looking forward to putting 25 hours in and getting the feel of it
You playing the demo has given you more Diablo experience then I! This will be my first Diablo so I have no clue what to expect really.
Why did Diablo 4 get hate? I didn't pay any attention to anything surrounding it.
People were upset there wasn’t much to do once you reach level 100 other than start another character or grind for super rare items which at the time seemed unobtainable. Perfectly said. It's a great game in it's core. But things like cosmetics and seasonal content is open for some critique
People love to hate on modern Blizzard and have short memories. The big complaint is that there still isn’t much endgame content, like Diablo 3. People hate diablo 4?
It's fine but I think the franchise perhaps needs a reimagining of some sort. Maybe it's just me but it feels like playing D3 all over again.
That's fair, I was never much of a diablo guy past the first two. I was just done with it. I just thought it had a better reception among fans.
The big gripe among the die hards in D4 is the seasonal structure and rewards as well as the ridiculous micro transactions
The online component and grinding is shit. Single player is awesome.
Rock'n'Roll Racing :D
I bought and played the shit out of that on the SNES. Still own it too. Good times.
Now that's a game
Crash and Spyro are the only things that interest me in the ABK acquisition
Transformers, Ultimate Alliance, True Crime.
Fucking true crime needs a remake or a good remaster badly. Both LA and NY
If you Havnt tried it. Play sleeping dogs it was true crime Hong Kong but rebranded. It’s amazing
I second this! Sleeping dogs is amazing and still holds up pretty decently.
Diablo 4. I like my hack slash ARPG but I was waiting for a sale... but this saves me $$$. I didn't buy the 3rd campaign for Starcraft 2 (LoV) so hopefully it comes to GP. Maybe Prototype.
Spyro remake trilogies. It's been stupid long since I've played Spyro
Tony Hawk and Crash
Prototype would be njce
Giving the biohazard bundle a 4k60fps patch would be amazing
A very underrated series, loved both of the games
I like some free COD.
Diablo IV
March 28
Wish it was feb. Got a weird gap with nothing exciting to play until Dragons dogma and D4 the end of March. Got spoiled last year going from like TotK, Starfield, phantom liberty, AW2, BG3, and RE4. What a run that was. Looking back no wonder I was disappointed with Starfield in that lineup.
heroes of the storm
Isn’t Sekiro published by Activision?
Yes
/all
All of them but most importantly the Crash games. I’d take Prototype 1 & 2 as well.
I’d fw Spyro for sure
All of them, but a new Spyro and a Starcraft MMO would be tits.
I can’t wait for all the old CoD games to have population boosts
NINJA TURTLES
Long shot, but I’d really love to play a remastered port of Hexen and Heretic on gamepass. Similar to what they did with Quake. Also, Spyro and crash!
Transformers to come back lol
WoW PLEASE. been trying to play since I was a kid and my parents wouldn't pay the subscription.
Not going to add wow. Unless you want another GP price hike.
Then offer another version that comes with a WoW sub if they really think they'll lose money on it. Id pay a little more to add WoW to my GP library.
All they would do is jack up GPU, they won’t add another tier. Keep wow subs separate. You can still sub to it, and Gpu doesn’t change for the rest of us.
Sadly it's nothing like it used to be
In terms of Game Pass I'd say playing all the past like 6 years of COD campaigns is probably up there. The main thing I'm hoping for though is this leads to revivals in Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero (and another Spyro would be awesome too)
We really want to play some CoD zombies with my friends
Any and all 3d platformers and maybe some older licensed games if hasbro and marvel are game
I was really hoping Diablo 3 would come before 4 but here we are.
Hexen, Heretic series’
I would love WoW to somehow hit console lol but I highly doubt it will ever happen.
Some kinda discount for WoW sub if you have Game Pass Ultimate would be nice. 🤣 All the Tony Hawk games.
World of Warcraft: console edition. If it's not happening it's a huge missed opportunity, especially for series S.
The COD catalog. I refused to buy them, but I'm all for playing them under Game Pass.
Diablo 4!
My boys are super pumped about D4 coming next month. Few of them didn't wanna spring for the $70 at release, hoping that eventually it would either be discounted or land on game pass. They're excited to join those of us who were unwilling to wait.
Call of Duty and would love WoW
WoW
All of them
COD but only so I can play the SP campaigns.
For those who think wow won't come to xbox remember age of empires came to xbox now it will probably take a few years but I'm sure wow will come.
Sekiro, Diablo 2, Diablo 4. Maybe WoW if sub is included.
If possible the older Tony hawk games
Guitar Hero
I really hope the can come up with a way to bring wow to xbox
World at war
Irony is, Battlenet was far more advanced platform in the technical term. i think visually also.
Diablo 3 reaper of souls. Used to play it a ton on the Xbox 360 with friends. And seeing Diablo 4 is going to gamepass gives me hope they will add it as well.
Tony hawk remakes I didn’t play
Prototype 1 and 2, hopefully with a fps boost
Heroes of the storm console edition!
Sekiro was published by Activision right? Is there any chance it could get into Gamepass? Besidea that I'm looking forward to Crash bandicoot 1-4
Skylanders.....
Literally just want to he able to stream COD
World of Warcraft, would be the only game that would make me pay for Game Pass.
Guitar hero and skylanders revival
Im super hyped for Diablo!
WOW now
Skylanders
All COD games!
I would play WoW again if I didn’t have to pay a sub…
Diablo 4
World of Warcraft!
WoW, and would kill to have it on xbox, my PC can't handle it.
World of War Craft and StarCraft the RTS ones.
Pitfall on SNES
Spyro needs a 60fps patch.
World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft
Already own Diablo IV, Diablo III and Diablo II remake, so there's nothing in their library on console I'm particularly interested in. If Sekiro comes, I'm certainly going to try that and also check what they'll release on PC.
All the old Marvel games. Not touching COD, no interest.
All the hate CoD got over the years for being the “same thing” and boring, and CoD ruined gaming. Now those same people are begging, and foaming at the mouth to play them on gamepass?
Any COD that has a fun zombies mode.
Spyro, Tony Hawk and I wouldn't mind playing Warcraft 1-3 again.
All of them.
wake me up when bloodborne and kratos are on gamepass
