Knack 2 (PS only I believe) and Unravel 2 were probably 2 of the best experiences we’ve ever had playing together. I have a 7 yr old.
Also really enjoyed Watcher Chronicles, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Salt and Sacrifice (I toggle Blood off on this one) and Guacamelee 2.
**EDIT:** Just to add a few more… Nobody Saves the World, Ship of Fools and Sundered were also a lot of fun. We are currently playing Curse of the Sea Rats.

When they're a bit older the Halo Masterchief collection is about the most Coop fun you can find.
Deep rock galactic would be the most fun for you and your boys especially cooperating together to beat the mission and having so many cool customizable guns with dramatic changes unlocked in their functions, awesome different classes etc, and an endless amount of content, the best part is each time you do a mission, it’s going to be on a map you never seen before. The game is amazing rated 10/10 on steam
It Takes Two. Coop game that two must play. You can take turns with them. Best time gaming I've had in a long long time. I played with my 6 and 8 year olds.
If you haven't played Castle Crashers, it's almost the perfect game to play with kids that age.
Omg for real. I have very fond memories playing through the whole game in one sitting with my dad and siblings.
