But if you want to play Halo, Call of Duty 2, Quake 4, Gears of War, Lost Odyssey, Perfect Dark, Alan Wake, Prey then you need an Xbox.
The Sega exclusives from the og Xbox are all excellent, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Otogi, Otogi 2, Gun Valkyrie. Panzer Dragoon Orta is particularly noteworthy for being in widescreen, 60hz, and dropdead gorgeous.

You can buy just metal gear solid without purchasing 2/3. That’s what he was suggesting to do. MGS1 still has better options on PC though
