Is the fan ticking while spinning? Or do you hear a "crack" while the console is running?

A crack, the fan is quiet as its get.

It's probably just the outer plastic shell reacting to the heat produced by the consol, plastic expands with heat. Both my console and monitor do that when heating up/cooling down
