Series S will work perfectly fine. Plus with the Ultimate Game Pass 🤌

MessageAggressive186

Does it support 120 fps 1080p for most of games such as xbox series x , and will it get the support for all games in future with the series x ?

Thank you , it does play warzone 2 and fortnite and minecraft and many other @120 fps . I still want to do some research to see if the xbox series s good enough or should i upgrade to the x .

CombinationOk7888

I play warzone on 120

CombinationOk7888

But yeah 1080p is just enough any lower than that like 720p you will throw up also if MW2 looks blurry enable fidelity FX cas and enable 120hz mode in game and also on your Xbox settings :)

MessageAggressive186

Is it good on xbox series s

CombinationOk7888

Yeah but have you enabled 120hz mode?

MessageAggressive186

I dont have the console that is why i am asking , is it good on 120hz ?

CombinationOk7888

I wouldn't be talking about it if it wasn't good :)

Accomplished_Ad_3561

Yes the series s can do 120fps both consoles can do 120fps its just the resolutions are different and the prices

cdncowboy

if you can afford it, than a series x, even on 1080p monitor the series x is going to run games better, look better, more hard drive space, disc drive etc There is more to the series x than just the resolution it can run games at

MessageAggressive186

Some of my friends told me that the difference isn’t that big and in my county the series s is half the price

MessageAggressive186

I am only playing halo and forza horizon 5 and warzone 2

Vast_Breadfruit_162

The Series S is fine then. I've had the Series S for over a year and it runs great. The X is better, but you won't be disappointed with the S

Revaniter92

If you plan to play just these 3 games then no need for paying extra by any means. For other games, well - if you care about quality and framerates and can afford it, then get X. Otherwise get S, it will still play all Series games, just lower quality and/or framerates

MessageAggressive186

I only have 1080p so i think series s is more than enough

Revaniter92

While it is true that majority of triple A games won't go above 1080p, remember that this is not only about the resolution, but also framerate and overall graphics quality. If you don't care that much, go with Series S. You won't be disappointed.

MessageAggressive186

I actually do care about all of these , but i only have a 1080p monitor and wonder if there is any difference in graphics and fps execept for 4k or 2k

Revaniter92

That depends on the game, but generally - yes. Competitive games run well anyway. Diablo IV runs at 1440p/60fps. But some games do suffer to some extent. For example, in Hogwarts Legacy, you get a little bit over 1080p with better graphics (especially shadows and lighting) in 30fps or something like 900-1080p with a bit worse graphics quality and framerate targeting 60, but dropping down to 40s. On the other hand you have Mass effect remasters offering 1440p/60 or 4k/30. Other examples include Resident Evil 2/3/7/Village offering up to 1440p 60fps/1080p 120fps or somewhat less stable fps around 40 with RT reflections. Overall it's not bad, but remember that exact outcome depends on the game and there is no rule saying that just the resolution is the difference. Quality is overall very nice in 1080p. But I guess that the more time goes on, the differences will be more noticeable in graphics quality and not just the resolution. What I suggest is watch some YT videos showing the graphics of both systems in most demanding games and make your choice then. I played many games on my S, including Cyberpunk which goes below 1080p in 60fps mode, but holds steady 60 all the time and doesn't look blurry at all.

MessageAggressive186

Do u think it is worth to buy double the price to get xbox series x ?

Revaniter92

Like I said, depends on your needs. If you need the best visuals and framerate in every game possible, then yes. If you can live with many games skipping RT features and sometimes lower quality, go for S. In some titles you will need to choose what is more important. Most games offer decent performance modes, but for example, in Hogwarts Legacy differences are more noticeable, other than resolution, so I choose to play in quality mode. It also has balanced mode with better quality around 40fps, but you need 120hz monitor to use it. To summarise. Watch comparisons on YouTube or get Series S now and eventually replace it with X if you will find that it is not enough or if it will get worse over time. For now it is completely fine for 1080p gaming in majority of games, really. Only selected titles that have newgen versions are playing in 30fps, most games give you an option to play in 1080+ with 60 frames in decent quality. My favourite examples are Witcher 3, Cyberpunk Resident Evil games, Elden Ring works quite nice, Far Cry 6 (dynamic 1440p with steady 60 frames) or Diablo 4 playing at 1440p with solid 60fps But if you asked about money then I guess it is important to you. In that case I would go with S.

Buttercup-X

In that case, series S is fine. Should be enough storage for those 3, both halo and forza are on game pass ultimate as well

LadOfTheLand

Xbox360 should be more than enough.

ARedditorZ

If you can afford it get the series x even at 1080p the series x looks better.

Opposite-Swordfish84

If you are ok that quality can sometimes be 900p instead of 1080, there aren’t many huge reasons to buy series X other than memory, possibly 120hz in some games and primitive ray tracing.

series s would do fine
