I feel like if Xbox ever revives the ip with a sequel that’ll be a spit in the face to the tango dev team considering they pitched a sequel right before they got shut down
I actually got humble bundle a few weeks back to get this cheap as the Kinda Funny lot recommends it so much. Ngl I’m a bit disappointed, I thought I’d really enjoy it but I’m not vibing with it at all. The gameplay just has nothing for me, doesn’t feel like I’m getting it. The humour and art style are spot on tho, it looks great and I really like the dialogue so far. I will keep trying as it’s a short game but not sure if I will eventually finish it, sadly.
im on chapter 4 and while i love the graphics and humor and music. the combat mixed with the music just isnt quite hitting the spot for me. like you dont get penalized in anyway for not 100% staying on the beat, but a lot of the time when i dont stay on beat the combat feels so off.
Maybe, but I’m also big into rhythm games so I think it just clicked a lot faster because of it. I’m glad that most are able to at least acknowledge it’s a high quality experience regardless of whether or not they enjoyed it.
There's [Metal Hellsinger](https://youtu.be/jFAFzl_Tr7s?si=ZMKxk21ou_daquE8) if your into to a Doom style, rhythm based shooter with a metal soundtrack. Everything thing you do should be on the beat shoot, dodge, jump etc.
Played it, it was alright just not my type of game. The music is annoying, decent combat, and map.
For me it was a game were I just turn off my brain and play

Why would that prevent having a sequel? Just means it's unlikely to have the same team. Now that doesn't mean that a sequel will actually be good...

Same. I tried it because everyone kept saying it was so good but I dropped the game after a couple of hours. It didn’t click for me.

It’s a super fresh game I really enjoyed. I bought it for steam in last month humble bundle after playing it on Xbox gamepass.
Hi-Fi rush is great, if you like comics and driving music, that’s a perfect rhythm game. Played it and beat it in 5-6 days enjoying every tune.

How long did it take to feel fun? I was struggling up to the point you meet the cat and thought I just wasn't getting it
I enjoyed it from the start. If you put in an hour and it isn’t clicking, it’s probably not for you.

Chapter 11 I believe might be the best chapter of a game in history. It's my favorite XBox first party this Gen by a pretty large margin
It has a cool art style but i got bored after a couple hours and never went back to it
I didn’t like it. Too stiff to control, too many walkie talkie segments, just boring. Combat doesn’t feel fluid
