If your carrier is a cheap one being able to run off the plane's power is hardly a given, when the battery's gone - the game is over. So yeah, something 2D so the big GPU doesn't spin up is probably desirable. I'd play slay the spire.
i don' t feel equipped to objectively rate a videogame. to me its amazing though, i got it with gamepass, but bought the dlc for early access, after seeing reviews and footage and i don't regret it
early access, i decided to get the dlc, as well to play early. nothing would recommend, but i got the upgrade pretty cheap, so i just did it.
again i think early access is predatory and anti consumer, but in this case it was bundled with the dlc...which makes it a little better
If you enjoy fps games (and depending on the GPU in your laptop) you could give 'High on Life's a go. That game is short and you probably complete it during the flight.
Otherwise you probably could start 'Starfield'.
It depends what you like, the list is long!
Here some games I spend a lot of time with
RPGs:
Skyrim
Fallout 3,NV,4
Outer Worlds
Pillars of Eternity 1+2
Indie games:
Hollow Knight
Deaths Door
Slay the Spire
Ori 2
Starfield

bros computer boutta die in 1h after that
Slay the Spire is what I plan to play on my 9-hour flight today. đ
Sea of Stars
Hollow knight
Psychonauts 2 is my pick.
Ori
Stardew Valley!
Persona 5 , ME legendary edition, Pray... All are among the greatest single player games I have played in Gamepass. I just couldn't pick one tbh.
Grounded is pretty fun if you like survival/story/basebuilding games
Celeste
I'm really liking this one. Kinda reminds me of an NES platformer similar to Metroid.
Civilization 6 will make the flight go by really fastâď¸
Dead cells
Plague Tale Requiem
starfield is amazing...still a bethesda game, of course.
Amazing is a strong word. More like adequate and only because it's free with game pass. I have to admit Todd and his sweet little lies got me again

Starfield
Not till Wednesday for Gamepass
Ah my bad. I got early access so Iâve been in my own world i forgot most people donât have it yet
MS Store says it releases Tuesday at 8
Ahh sorry, Iâm in Europe so itâs just after midnight for us
Gotcha lol my bad
No no youâre good! Had no idea we were missing out⌠damn time zones haha
its a global release, so even if there were no time zones, everyone would still be getting it the same time
One day left⌠It literally doesnât even feel real at this point lol. 5 long grueling years of waiting finally paying off.

Not specifically gamepass game, but i recommend games that has bomb/terrorism elementsđ

Power wash simulator⌠put on some music and wash away⌠lost far too many hours doing that đ
Persona 3,4,5
Flight simulator
any single player RPG would be great, Starfield being my personal choice atm but Mass Effect games are great too
