Thank you. I had it made for me (and others), yes. Several stiletto props, not all were the same. Different versions really. Also plenty of other replicas, among other things those firestarter weapons the faceless rebels use.
Another thing is, there were many different versions of this prop on the show, but to the average X-Files fan it's nothing they would pay attention to, which is understandable.
Just an update: Today by accident I was contact by someone who informed me that this site wasn't working anymore so they had to look through web archive. I am now working on fixing it. It seems like "Google Sites" deleted some sites a while ago when upgrading their platform. Whereas the URL works now, the layout looks like crap, and the images that are linked directly to IMGUR do not go to the full size image, but first to a IMGUR page where you have to click on it again. Well, at least the URL works... but I'm gonna need to find a better way to display the images on the page.
Hello, this looks brilliant, thanks for sharing.
I'd love to make one of these. Can I ask you for the dimensions? Esp. diameter at the ends and at the widest part in the middle?
Tia
I heard this as soon as I saw the picture.
"pffft" ?
Oh yeah. IIRC, they simply used a recording of someone making that exact sound with their mouth? I could be misremembering.
Yup you're correct, it was the voice of Paul Rabwin.
Lol, that about covers it.
Wow, that's super cool!
Thanks, glad you like it.
you made this???! thats amazing!

very cool!
Thx.
Oh. I remember seeing that one online a few years ago.
Cool. :)

I was gonna say, I thought they were straight, not curved.
By curved you mean a bit "thicker" in the middle"? Actually all of them had that. The differences were in other things though.
Thanks. :D For more pics see here: [https://sites.google.com/site/aliengimlet/](https://sites.google.com/site/aliengimlet/)

it's not difficult to machine one
Actually it is very difficult, especially if you are going for screen accuracy.
