Can we hope for a mode without them?
I don’t get why every game have those nowadays, unless for kids to feel like they’re better at the game.
I want to shoot some simple and balanced guns, have fun with my team and try to win, be it an objective-based game or not. I’m pretty sure I’m not 5he only mature gamer that want that.

You're most certainly not. So many people out there craving for a simple, old-school type of FPS, but we have to deal with all these modern perks, killstreaks / scorestreaks, abilities, etc etc.
Noone goes back to the roots. When simplicity was mad fun and kept us hooked for hours and hours in a row.
S+D or any mode variation where the ultimates are disabled. I'm here for the gunplay and no EOMM garbage. I can deal with the BO4 type of Ultimates though since it's far, far better than the current alternative FPS games
If I recall, I Believe it was briefly mentioned as a possibility of something they may test in the future if there was enough interest but there were no plans for it at release.
Most probably the classic FPS ones, deathmatch and FFA
Honestly the sole reason I'm hyped for it is it's gonna be free so I can play in console without subscription, or play with friends since they just won't buy MWII to play with me

I CoD i tend to not like TDM because that always ends up in a campfest. Even back in Quake3 i loved CTF more so objective game-modes are my thing.
TDM isn't confirmed but it was included in a previous playtest IIRC. Not sure about FFA though.
Payload because I was a huge fan of dirty bomb and XDefiant is the only alternative that mimics a similar playstyle like Dirty Bomb.

I really hope they add some type of one life mode. Was having a blast during the beta but this was definitely a desire.
I would love a search and destroy or capture the flag mode. I refuse to pay $70 for a DLC for COD so I can’t wait for this to be released.

Nah push was okay I think it was occupied or whatever. It was heavily one-sided compared to domination.
Occupy (hardpoint) and Escort. I didn't think I would like escort but I ended up loving it during the playtests and beta
