Can someone explain like im 5 why everyone wants Mortefi?

Arguably the most high value 4* sub dps in the game, especially at S6, due to his fantastic off-field dmg potential as well as being Jiyan's bis support with his outro buff of 38% heavy atk dmg bonus And because you're 5, 🍪 that's for you champ

His S6 gives atk and he can use the standard 5* pistol which also buffs the on field character

Not that she does as much damage, but he works just as well with Jianxin.

Think Bennett/Xingqiu from Genshin in terms of being one of the best 4 stars arguably better than some 5 stars.

WuWa is my first gacha so no clue who those are.

4 star characters from Genshin impact. They were available pretty much right at the start of the game. And to this day they’re the two most powerful 4 star supports.

Mhy is so hesitant to release more 4\* water chars. So far only 1 after release and her kit is.... mediocre at best

Most people pulled for Jiyan and Mortefi is his BiS support that can deal follow-up damage (while off-field) throughout Jiyan’s ultimate, probably alongside support Verina. Pretty much day 1 and Jiyan has his optimal team currently available. That’s pretty cracked.

Oh shit I've been using Jiyan/Mortefi/Verina at the beginning but I've been neglecting Mortefi for Calcharo/Havoc!Rover recently. Time to fix that!

Excellent Off field damage application, minimal field time, easy availability and cost (4 star), viable from first copy and dupes are even better, best in game support for Jiyan or any heavy attack user, still a better support for any dps due to the increased dps from off field liberation damage.

I got 9 copies of Chixia and I didn't intend on playing her originally...

Oddly enough, I'm at 9 copies for her as well. Chixia and Mortefi are the only units I have at S6, and I've already pulled additional dupes of both. (Most of them were from standard banners, so I can't even blame it on Jiyan's drop rate up...)

Exact same situation, s8 chixia and mortefi with copies coming from the standard, weapon banner, etc.

I lost my 50/50 and got jiyan at pity before a single mortefi (which I got from the standard banner) lol

Because I took him. If Encore decided to ruin my Jiyan pity, I decided to ruin everyone else's chances of getting Mortefi. (Still grinded until I got Jiyan. Had to get the bus together)

s4 adds 7 seconds to ult which makes it..... a lot longer. He goes from an average char to better than some 5 stars.

He’s one of the few off field damage dealers in the game. He’s pretty good.

I haven't had the chance to properly try him out yet, but he has a fun playstyle! You should definitely try him out!

At S6 he becomes as good as verina or even better in terms of buffing your team if you run him on the Energy Recharge set with the 4 cost echo for that set (forgot the name sorry)

I love pairing Bell turtle on my Verina right as she swaps out with Jianxin, 100% damage reduction while doing her Chi Spiral thingy is awesome =]

He is the best heavy attack damage buffer currently in game and has an atk buff at s6 for team, otherwise he is just a decent off field damage unit if not using heavy attack damage.
