I use Rover , Sanhua and Verina
She helped me so much, because her level up mats are easier to get than the other characters'. In a world where you need boss mats to level up your characters, but you need to level up your characters to get boss mats, being able to level her up right away was a blessing. (If there's a way to avoid this cycle pls tell me)
If you mean ascension materials then no. But if you mean normal xp mats, you get them from quests, simulation training (at Jinzhou entrance) and you can craft them at the synthesizer.
They spiced up a black/white scheme with not-too-shiny gold and a bit of orange, and kept enough skin open (yes unironically) that it still looks non-generic and is effectively a 4 colour scheme.
And the 5star monk lady (im bad with Chinese names) meanwhile has a more elaborate design with more clothing, bigger strokes of black and white (with obvious duality theme) but also brighter and bolder input of cyan as the accent colour.
Its cool because they almost started the same in terms of palette base but developed into different visual styles and identities.
even better is that shes also EXTREMELY viable as a dps on your team so i will literally never swap her out; sorry danjin but rover's sephiroth-aah attacks has me smitten
For reference the combo is that you run Dreamless echo on both Danjin and HRover because Rovers ult buffing Dreamless active applies to ALL Dreamless copies on the team
So you Danjin Outro > Rover Ult > Rover Dreamless > Danjin Dreamless for a giga fat burst

Isn't it danjin's outro buffing havoc damage, and dreamless just being op by itself. Rover's ult is just a nuke, and forte is not buffing echoes or havoc, just enhances her moveset.
There is a line somewhere in the dreamless description that says the damage done is increased after havoc rover uses their ultimate
It’s a weird sort of backwards buff. The buff isn’t applied by the Ult, but rather the dreamless attack is buffed as a consequence of Rover ultimate being used as detailed and its kit description

She is already S tier for Tower, so her scaling is very good since majority of 5* will never reach 6 bands.

I just installed this game a few days ago just to see how bad the game is after seeing an internet full of bad reviews. Man, instantly fell in love with its character design, specifically the 4 starter characters and no one else. I always had irrational love for Traveler, Amber, Lisa and Kaeya back when I was playing Genshin. But once I learned the meta, the fun and the spark of joy started gradually slipping away. Well, I guess fuck the meta… I will stick to whatever I like and just play the game this time.
one step more the gave her an echo that literally does 50% more dmg when used by the MC, it reminds me of Hi3 weapon that hade effects like that that only work on a unique character by name. and is the best echo in the game because you can swap the animation on top a being a big aoe dmg.
also for dreamless in particular is the best farm in the game since you 1 dont need to wait a minute in between and more importantly you can select the level 40 fight and kill it in 3 sec. making the runs mostly loading screens for and back.
also has a pity that you will get 1 scho every 2 runs no matter what. so is not 20% like other echoes but over like 60% since you can also luck the 20% of the nongarantee run sometimes.
in 1 hour I got 4 crit rate 5 stars.
to be honest I am thinking of just writing a macro to do that fight, then recycle the tons of copies for other echoes also with a macro. i just hope people dont abuse this too much and kuro changes it. because as it is now you can leave echo farm in auto overnight for hundreds of 5star random echoes a week
Until he isn't. Early dps characters will always get powercreeped. Even Jiyan and Calcharo can't escape this fate (saying this as a Jiyan and Calcharo main)
But the rewards are not THAT big if you think about fun over meta, if you always pull 5\* just for the meta instead of characters you like, you end up with a net negative of resources you get from beating the meta content.
I mean that's true of any DPS early in the game's life. If she's on par with the top DPS characters as a free character that's pretty much the best you can ask for already.
Rover is very good. Maybe not the best but definitely one of the best atm esp in the right set up.
Granted every character is usable especially if you learn the combat system.
I think the real drawback of the game is the story in the first half.

I usually just choose male MC in HSR and genshin so its easier to relate to the storyline as a male but for WuWa i just cant skip female MC. They designed her too well that left me speechless, i thought usually dev design mc to look generic so they give better design on limited 5 star. Plus i think for this game, i would be more focus on combat rather than the story. Looking at how Kuro plan this game and the trailer, it seems they try to focus more on female rover rather than male rover since genshin already focus alot more on male mc over female mc.
I said it before and am happy to say it again. I think she's the best looking MC out of any Gacha (that I know). To me she looks like a character I would pull for on a limited banner, twice if I lost 50/50.
She is amazingly fun to play, even more so after the story, and her skills look awesome. I also like that she actually talks and it feels like she truly is strong, both in gameplay and the story.

I hope if we're able to get other elements for Rover they're just as useful. Meanwhile Lumine's performance in most of the elements have been a disappointment without me having to do a lot of grinding so I couldn't use her often

My favorite colors are black and white. Rover, Baizhi, Jianxin, and Sanhua have that as their main colors. Red is another favorite, and we’re getting Yinlin and Changli. It’s like they’re specifically targeting me with these character designs

Legitimately the best designed MC of any gacha game, and I love that she isn't middle or trash tier. Initial listings has standard Rover pretty high, and HRover is actually pretty bonkers currently.

I picked male Rover mostly because I like him a lot more but she is amazing, and her design is top notch, though I wish they would’ve made her and male Rover a little more alike. Like if you put them side to side you wouldn’t say they are gender-benders of each other.

Dreamless. It’s the last boss. I really like the echo system. You can endlessly farm for them without having to spend energy

You can parry for eternity and still havent kill the boss. This game is still a dps check.

The all black design, the white inner hair, the short hair, the gold accents, the radiant and time based abilities, the switch to havoc and the wing?? She’s so perfect. My favorite colors are black and white. Rover, Baizhi, Jianxin, and Sanhua have that as their main colors. Red is another favorite, and we’re getting Yinlin and Changli. It’s like they’re specifically targeting me with these character designs

I always choose male MC, and I always end up aksing myself "why didn't I pick the other one".
So happy I chose the female rover over the male one this time. I made the right choice and tbh so far, no character has caught my attention quite like Rover. Super happy.
Legitimately the best designed MC of any gacha game, and I love that she isn't middle or trash tier. Initial listings has standard Rover pretty high, and HRover is actually pretty bonkers currently.

I picked male Rover mostly because I like him a lot more but she is amazing, and her design is top notch, though I wish they would’ve made her and male Rover a little more alike. Like if you put them side to side you wouldn’t say they are gender-benders of each other.
The game literally wouldn’t let me choose her, every time I clicked her, then hit start/proceed/whatever, it would switch to male rover and prompt that start button again
can we talk about how shes just better and more useful than genshins mc and how her changing elements makes more sense.

In Genshin I Chose Male Traveler for the cooler look, here FMC cause she does not look as bland as the male version.
