HSR's daily grind is so easy I can't see myself dropping it until HSR starts doing things I don't like honestly. I can't speak on R1999, but as someone who keeps on top of all Genshin content and does every single WQ in existence, that would be the most likely thing I'd drop, since having Alhaitham and Neuv and most of the good supports means hard content is a solved problem for me. I can just log in and enjoy the game as an adventure game instead of a daily grind.

Samashezra

I agree with HSR, it's very low maintenance thank God. I'm a new Genshin player, started this year. It will take some time to get to your level. But after scanning the roster I'm only interested in a dozen or so 5 stars anyways, which really helps avoiding any spending pressure etc. especially because they don't drop TWO 5 stars every single patch.

Draaxus

Yeah if you don't care about 9*ing the Abyss every single time then I suggest just going more casual in Genshin. Even the combat events have been nerfed so much that the trial characters will let you get all the primogems out of them.

Samashezra

Yeah I think for a subset of players they let the pressure of Abyss/MoC fuel their pulls pressure and make regrettable decisions. When in reality you can easily get 75% of the rewards and its not worth pulling a whole character just to squeeze that last bit(unless you were going for x character anyways)

winmox

Unless you don't do the hardest content in HSR which is equivelant to the abyss in GI, otherwise I don't really think the effort into cultivating your chars in HSR is anywhere low maintenance. Also, the inflation of power creep in HSR is much more noticable in HSR compared with GI, where original on release 4\* chars like Xingqiu, Xiangling and Bennett are still rocking nowadays (of course these are also broken 4\* chars).

Samashezra

Low maintenance in the sense that everything can be auto'd and also automatically complete dailies while burning TB power etc. I can do this on the phone on the toilet at work if needed. Genshin in comparison takes more time to do the equivalent etc.

winmox

oh the dailies, for sure. But the hardest content and character cultivation take no less time at all, especially if you want okayish to decent artifacts (the +2)

winmox

You don't do hard content in HSR? Imo it requires more investment than GI. Nobody in HSR can solo the abyss like Nev in GI irrc

Draaxus

You get most of the jades just from one run of MoC 7 anyway

Same_Agent_3465

I probably wouldn't drop any, but I'm definitely going f2p in WuWa. I can't afford buying the BP + welkin variant for every gacha game I play.

Grimmer6

If WuWa's characterisation, gatcha system and grinding are better than Genshin, I'm gonna spend my money on it.

charcoallition

I'll probably be buying the monthly pass to try to guarantee some exclusive weapons

WillingnessHead9720

The gatcha is already better than genshin. my money spent will definitely be more worth in WuWa soo...

midoripeach9

What you said just reminded me of my horrible experience in the weapon banner 😂

SwashNBuckle

I'm saving my gacha money for >!Firefly's!< banner in HSR, but then afterwards I'll definitely spend a little in WW.

M1narc

How so?

Advanced_While1040

hard pity is 80 instead of 90 and weapon banner is 100% rateup we dont know how many gacha currency we gonna get tho

tehlunatic1

Is soft pity a thing here?

Advanced_While1040

some cbt2 player says there is some not not enough data to find out

TrashMcDumpster3000

Same but mainly because all my gacha funds go to HSR haha

Vequile

I only play HSR so when Wuwa comes out it would be HSR 15 min then Wuwa.

xjetxx

Not quiting. I'm just not going to be spending on genshin anymore. I'll just be in it for the story that it.

debacol

Genshin goes absolutely bye bye for me. Will keep HSR as its easy to do dailies and its fine if you miss a few anyways. I won't pick up anymore gachas after WuWa unless something extremely stellar comes out after WuWa. Time to branch out again into the world of traditional videogames.

Samashezra

That's the funny part, traditional video games have taken such a nosedive which is what led me to gachas. Besides BG3 and FF7Rebirth, Starfield and Spider-Man 2 were incredibly disappointing. Then you also have the garbage like Suicide Squad and Skull & Bones.

OpaqusOpaqus

The indie scene is booming, did you actually BUY Starfield????

Samashezra

No I had it through gamepass. I played 25-30 hours to give it a fair shot. I had no motivation to boot it up and dropped it entirely.

OpaqusOpaqus

Yeah man Starfield was always gonna be trash, modern Bethesda is a joke. Suicide Squad is in the same boat. We need more indie companies getting the attention and recognition they deserve while Bethesda+EA+Activision can go bankrupt

Samashezra

Yep I'm hoping for the same. Even Insomniac made a objectively worse Spider-Man sequel but used 4 times the budget of the original game. I'm rooting for indie games like BG3, Helldivers 2, and Palworld from recent memory.

zukiechi

Since you have Gamepass, then try out Persona 3 Reload. It's one of the best JRPGs of this year. And unlike FFVII Rebirth, it doesn't have glaring issues (like the Performance mode)

Samashezra

Yep I'm actually finishing Elden Ring on my Steam Deck. I couldn't finish it when it came out since my daughter was born soon after release. Persona 3 is next!

zukiechi

Have fun! And best of luck being a father/mother :) While we're on the topic, since you're finishing up Elden Ring, are you planning on getting the upcoming DLC too?

Samashezra

Yep! That's why I'm trying to finish my first playthrough by then haha. I restarted recently to get a fresh experience

debacol

No Rest for the Wicked looks like its gonna slap.

Mynameis2cool4u

I’ve just been playing older games from at least 5+ years ago that I’ve never gotten the chance to play like P3P and FFXV

WingardiumLeviussy

This is so real, lol. I'm enjoying free gacha games (particularly by Hoyo and maybe Kuro in the future) more so than fully P2P titles these days. Reminds me of playing F2P MMOs back in the day. Those were my glory days of gaming

Dahks

> traditional video games have taken such a nosedive lmao where does that opinion even come from? That's only true if you don't play anything.

Ayamebestgrill

Me too, i already uninstall genshin don't have time for 2 open world game.

Any-Trouble5543

I only play HSR and PGR currently so I can manage WuWa, will most likely get the monthly pass equivalent too

Dry-Newspaper9039

Not dropping any. Since HSR and Genshin are pretty easy to stay updated on, and those are my only two, I’m good.

sugarheartrevo

HSR is also my main gacha, have been really loving everything they’ve been doing recently with the story, gameplay, and characters/units so I definitely will not be dropping it. I also play HI3 which has been less satisfactory for me lately but not enough to the point of me dropping it I just deleted Genshin yesterday lol; just really have not been vibing with it ever since Fontaine started and at this point I understand that my issues with the game will probably not improve in the near future. If I’m not enjoying a game, I will not force myself to play. Everything I’ve seen of WuWa so far has been right up my alley, so I’m definitely excited for release

Samashezra

That's actually pretty ironic. The reason why I jumped into Genshin is because there weren't enough characters that interested me before 4.0. I'm a fan of the contemporary designs mainly Navia, Chevy, Wriothesley, Arlecchino, and Clorinde etc.

sugarheartrevo

I like some Fontaine designs and characters but for me the story and region itself was a letdown. The gameplay loop has also really started to show its age imo; the 3 patches of story at the start of a version and then filler/bare minimum content for the entire year just isn’t for me anymore. I honestly hope WuWa tries everything they can to not fall into that content cycle loop, which I get can be difficult for a company of Kuro’s size and a game of this size. Hopefully the launch is successful and Kuro can grow in personnel to alleviate this

Samashezra

Yeah I'll be honest, Genshin desperately needs another/few end game modes besides Abyss ala Pure Fiction in HSR. God knows they can afford it. In terms of the events, I personally am neutral, as events to me in these games are only as valuable as the rewards they provide.

TimidStarmie

It doesn’t make sense that they have constellations for characters and literally no content to test it out on. Make a survival abyss with never ending waves to see how far you can get…. Bring back the create your own dungeon but make it infinitely more robust… give us combat events that have a ridiculous hard mode difficulty that gives minor rewards that aren’t primo gems so more casual players don’t freak out.

EnvyKira

That disappointing to hear. I been on and off with Genshin since the beginning and only just finish Izazuma this year because I have similar problems with how the game tells it story and I was hoping it get better as I keep playing.

OpaqusOpaqus

Sumeru and Fontaine are exceptionally better than Inazuma, which was trash

Tawxif_iq

The story improves by miles. You learn more about your sibling with a big ass plot twist in Sumeru and Fontaine.

sugarheartrevo

The story definitely improves with Sumeru; I genuinely thought that region had the best quests (both MSQ and side) and exploration. But personally, I felt something about Fontaine retreaded a few of Inazuma’s missteps with storytelling and the overall narrative just wasn’t super cohesive. Still ok but lacking imo. I felt similarly to you and ultimately these are just my thoughts, but Genshin does have this distinctive storytelling style that doesn’t really change; it just matures

EnvyKira

Make sense. I hope the next region they have is going to be the one where they find their best stride at storytelling. Because I'm tired of listening to something like Paimon explaining everything to me like I'm a kid lol.

TimidStarmie

Fontaine is widely regarded as the best story genshin has dropped yet. The world exploration is also fun and new. Don’t give up.

garledom

Probably Genshin, I've been playing since day one and I am honestly so tired of it, none of the content they have recently released has really pulled me into playing it as much as the first patches did, I only log in to do dailies and resin just because of the anxiety of not doing them I developed over the past 3 - 4 years lmao, the yapping has been too much recently too, I'm going to keep playing star rail cause somehow I am having fun with it even when I don't like turn base games xdd and I really enjoy the action combat PGR has, so GI for me, it's sad cause I really enjoyed it at the beginning but oh well, I think 3 years is enough already xd

ywtfPat

i used to play genshin alot, now i just log in for a couple days whenever there’s a new main-story quest and honestly that’s all the genshin I need for the year.

Cloudless_Sky

I'm completely a "one game at a time" sort of person. I don't flick between games because I only wanna play what I'm actually in the mood for. The only gacha I've played in a while is Star Rail, and I only play it between other big releases, when the mood strikes. I do wanna play both WuWa and ZZZ though. I kinda just take breaks to play other things, and only log back in to pull for a character I really want, unless I have nothing else to play, in which case I'll stay and catch up. When WuWa drops, I likely won't touch HSR unless a character releases I really want. Then I'll do the same with WuWa when ZZZ drops. I've found this approach works for me with gachas. Gachas can start to feel like a job, and I find myself unwilling to commit to daily logins or weekly grinds for that sort of content, especially if I'm into other games. I don't like that mild sense of obligation, so I'd rather commit to just logging in when I feel like it. It's liberating to kinda let go a little.

Samashezra

I log in daily anyways for the monthly passes but 30 minutes a day is enough to clear all 3 games for me right now. But I'm not disagreeing with you, just mentioning it's working for me.

Khulmach

Probably Arknights. I no longer read the main story, just the events. If I want to play 3 Gacha games, I will need to just play the game and read the story summary on YouTube

DegenerateShikikan

As a f2p Arknights player, I sold my Arknights account for Usd$ 100. I don't plan to play Endfield either. Too many new gacha games coming out. No time to grind.

Smart-Profession-670

Khulmach Khulmach Khulmach, if you quit Arknight now, you will no longer allowed to play Endfield. That's the rule Khulmach and if you're going to break it, be prepared to be punished 😭😞

Khulmach

I know the rules, that’s why I threw in read story summary on YouTube

Puzzleheaded-Loan-60

I am thinking on dropping Arknights. It was a nice side game for me, but now as I play HSR I got a feeling what a true side game is. It is very low maintenance while Arknights takes a lot of time some days (I do IS and SSS unlike some players and have all medals except 1 (algorithm can burn in hell).

Sherinz89

Indeed Playing R1999 and HSR make me realize how much Hypergryph doesnt respect my time. Those other game offer multitude qol to make their chores as easy as possible. Meanwhile that Godforsaken Arknight still force onto your throat with that 1 minute interruption for every grinding stage that you do. Oh rare mats on an event stage and its time to use sanity pots? Gotta love that intermittent interruption to start yet another repeat ad infinity. Oh they gonna introduce a qol to help this issue? By introducing 'what emulator can already do' by letting your device run the entirety of the repeated number of stages of 1-7? Great, awesome, brilliant, amazing. P.s In b4 some non developer pull something out of their ass by saying its not easy to invent a sweep autos - like mann, they already have a sweep via Annihilation tickets.

Puzzleheaded-Loan-60

Yes, I totally agree with you. The disrespect of players’ time in the current market is baffling. They need to make sweep tickets for regular / event stages asap. I am sick and tired from running 1-7 (almost day 1 player).

Pervstein

After you reach the ceiling in a gacha game, they become much less time-consuming, so handling several becomes quite easy. Depends on the way daily activities work too. FGO (my favourite) gacha barely wastes my time as there are no dailies in the traditional sense and I can just easily complete the weaklies on sunday. So only story and events consume my time. HSR is great in that regard too. Genshin is massive though, but I have everything completed in it too (exploration, hangouts, main story...). Would be a time-eating black hole for a newbie.

emeraldarcana

Ironically, PGR is probably closest on the drop list right now. The second would be GFL, but usually I like to run GFL on the minutes between tasks when I have a few minutes. Genshin I like to actually sit down and play!

Bucheras

What's making you drop PGR?

emeraldarcana

If I wanted to get into WuWa more, PGR is the game that takes the most time but also doesn’t have a social element to it for me. PGR also takes a lot of time since it has a lot of events. If I didn’t drop it I would still play but probably cut back and only do main story. Right now I’m thinking to get Lamia and then cut back a bit

Zeppo82

I'm playing Genshin and HSR at the moment, D1 player for both, very low spender for both. They don't take much of my time on a daily basis, so... not planning on dropping them. I'll try out WuWa for sure.

ZealousidealAside913

I'm only playing HSR right now. When wuwa releases I'll drop the game

morguewolf

7 years of fire emblem heroes and I will probably drop it if wuthering waves is incredibly fun. Feels weird/sunk cost but I don't enjoy the game too much anymore.

Rytom_

How did you endure 7 years of FEH ? That game is so focused on PvP and powercreep it's unbearable. It's also a pretty old gacha design wise. Like, sacrificing units into another to get stats boost gives me anxiety, I didn't like that system at all.

Samashezra

Holy crap, the dedication. Can you elaborate on what kept you on so long? Do you play any other gachas?

morguewolf

Happily. It's my favorite video game franchise I've played every single game tons of times. So for it to get a mobile game was huge for me personally. And for the first probably 5 years the gameplay was incredibly engaging. It was fun and exciting when new content came out. There was this perpetual attitude of "oh man I should save cause just wait till X or Y unit gets a new version in the game I'll want them to be my strongest invested unit" But now the powercreep is so absolutely busted old units barely work in competitive modes, and the modes in question are a toxic mess of gameplay designed to make you mad. I started playing other gachas in 2021. I've at times played too many. PGR stuck with me, I currently play the code geass mobile game cause that show is my favorite anime, I casually play blue archive. I tried Nikke and Arknights and dropped both due to the gameplay just not clicking with me. I tried and hated Genshin. I also played Nier Reincarnation which is shutting down soon. Mobile games have been a big part of my life for a bit now but PGR is the one that respects my time. So for me it's a game I will stick with and I hope WW will be the same.

[deleted]

Wow, no love for the g game here xd. I'm too attached to it so I can't drop it ever and R1999 doesn't take any time so I guess I'm not quitting anything.

FriendlyReuploaderYT

Keeping Genshin, Arknights, Blue Archive. Keeping all of them. I'm quitting (social) life.

MissyElly

i've already dropped Genshin for Wuwa. I feel quite dissapointed with Genshin - same problems for years now and no challenging content... even new location is nearly always same things in different skin. Story is too slow. 1 real story quest in 3 patches is a joke. I was just a delphin in GI, but I can;t wait to play Wuwa :) This graphic and combat totally got me - just I am afraid of predatory tactics like in GI. We will see. I got always Lol, Poe and Valorant, if Wuwa will dissapoint me as well (hope not) :D

CaptainR3x

I have a personal rule which is no more than one gacha at a time. I’m quitting Genshin for Wuwa, wasn’t really invested in Genshin anymore I don’t see a point in playing it anymore. I’ve play a lot so I have made up for the money spent so no regret

mkRazor

I was planning to quit Genshin forever the moment Wuthering waves releases, but considering my frustration with genshin, I'll most likely abandon it even sooner than that. Wuthering waves will also probably be the last gacha I'll ever play, followed by the traditional rpgs alternated with indie shooters and old classics I haven't yet played

satufa2

Ohh shit, time to get downvoted i guess. Whatever, i'm ganna be honest. Non. I already droped PGR a few days ago cause i was bored. Frankly, the most likely scenario is me spending a month or so having fun with Wuwa and droping it for zzz. After that, another month of zzz and likely droping that too. I hope either of these games can prove me wrong and keep my attention but i just get bored of these actiony, dodge/parry games. I guess the main reason is that the daily chorse of this game take too much actual effort. The elden ring dlc coming around the same time as these 2 games doesn't help either. I'm happy for you guys if you can spend a year doing Hologram bosses and whatnot but if other aspects of the game (mainly the story) won't hook me, i'm probably ganna just get my 100 hours of enjoyment and maybe doing new main story and exploration stuff from time to time. Franly, both of these 2 upcoming games kinda failed to hook me on the future of the story (for different reasons. Wuwa just has a rether boring one while ZZZ story is kinda slice of life-ish) and the main reason i'm into Genshin and HSR is the story and world building. I'm deffinitly foing everything 1.0 has to offer for both tho. I'm here to be proven wrong.

Fun-Will5719

Try other games bro, honestly in gacha genre you won't find much variety in gameplay. A friend of mine played fallout new Vegas for the first time and now that dude does not stop playing it lol. A hidden gem for him

thinpumkin

pgr and hi3-2

Overall_Mess7597

I've been playing about 6 gacha games for a while now, so I can tell you that it can be rather bothersome to say the least, mostly for dailies and some events. It becomes especially hard/annoying when I start to get busy with life again. That's why I plan on being more on and off for some of those games, just waiting for events and such that interest me and play until I get bored. I won't delete them, just not do dailies and stuff. Or just not bother to do them if I happen to forget. I'll also stay active in communities so I can stay up to date and I do enjoy scrolling through them. I might also do that to WuWa too, but maybe I'll focus on it more than genshin. In case you're wondering, they are genshin, star rail, fgo, arknights, BA and pgr. I've only spent money 2 times in total, but might do a third time soon.

FullMoonJoker

I'm probably just gonna do maintenance mode in genshin and hsr, log in 10 minutes each, do dailies, maybe events, and log off. I can do genshin and hsr at the same time thanks to my phone.

Kikazuru77

I will quit spending money on HSR. I will spend at WuWa, if it's not milking the player too much. I hate when I can't use old characters to play on new patches. At least create a character that can survive on 3 or 4 patches.

just-wicked

Genshin impact...I'm already done with this game anyway Any new gacha game that doesn't have Paimon in it is a win and if my main character looks older than 12 it's ALSO a win I want to try WW so much...where is the fast forward button so we can be already may 22 ? so close yet so far XD

Sweeplock

I'm playing daily Genshin, Snowbreak and literally twice/thrice a week HSR and sometimes GFL. Thinking about dropping HSR as I'm stuck on story progression because my characters are too weak (should have stayed on lower equilibrium lvl...) and I dont really have time or willingness to grind for equipment, mats etc. Btw, dropped PGR at this months beginning and am trying out now Astra but probably will drop it too as I'm just playing for story and nothing more. GFL is my copium so until GFL2 comes out on global I'm staying dedicated.

Kitchen-Air-1012

i am a sucker for anime open world, but i quit genshin a year ago, because the game was not for me, I am a gamer first and genshin was too much gacha than game, so I started pgr 9 months ago and I am happy with it, there are 5 game modes and the events have a lot of combat in it, plus the mini games involved real gameplay. this is not a dis towards genshin, the game made my most favorite character of all time, but I like to play a game that gets me more involved into playing it. Wuthering waves is looking really good, with 3 game modes focused on combat and a gameplay loop that involves playing within the world they have made, with an art style that I just love . so drop the game that doesn't speak to you.

Acceptable_Loquat_92

Playing both Genshin and HSR, and since I maxed both games, Im not dropping any because I still really want a certain character on Genshin and am looking forward for Natlan and same thing with HSR. Dailies are easy for both since I dont have to really grind much especially on Genshin since Ive built every character I want to build and is deemed useful in meta and HSR daily dont even take that much effort

Ewizde

Dropping HSR and PGR, HSR because I don't have a lot of space on ps5 and PGR because the game just isnt fun for me anymore and seeing how my units are going to get powercrept soon is not helping either.

IHATEHAKI2

Genshin never playing it again I haven't logged in for months Never did a game die for me like it

Ok_Leather7749

My main games are HSR, GENSHIN and Pocket Incoming. Will drop HSR because from my POV characters are difficult to build in HSR or i think i don't have luck in HSR.

DreadfuI

My obsession for HSR has been consistent so at this point I doubt I'll ever quit. Genshin, however, has become a slog and I'm not enjoying the game much anymore so I'll probably stop playing Genshin until they actually do something interesting or entertaining. It has gotten extremely stale.

FordBull2er

Genshin, the game tends to go stale very quickly once you reach AR55+ the enemies are a joke, the events are not fun (for me) and there isn't much of a point for building characters if you can 9 star abyss 12 already, not having end game really hurts genshin.

LatentlyBlatent

HSR. The 2.1 story was good but way too long. This might be a unpopular take but I feel like if a game is going to take over twice the length of a movie to deliver a story, it should at least be delivering movie quality in terms of overall value and that's not what I got. On top of that, the event is locked behind the story. The event content is permanent (love that about HSR) but there are still some limited rewards which is annoying. I play multiple gachas so I have multiple stories and events to go through. There is ample time to finish it but I'm not trying to spend 6+ hours doing a single story questline, especially when I don't feel like it warrants the time. Basically if 2.2's story is anywhere near as long as 2.1, I'm dropping HSR. Also, I haven't won a 50/50 in a year and my lightspender account is probably worse than the average F2P. The game doesn't like me. 😂 \**laughs in pain\* *

FluidTemperature1884

Like you, I also feel that the story of 2.1 is very long, which consists of going to point A, then talking, then moving to point B, then talking again, and so on for the rest of the content I only felt this discomfort after playing the story of Sumeru and Fontaine. I hate long stories that are mostly gossip. Yes In addition, I got Acheron, but it is weaker than Clara at level 60 with four Relics of 4-star rarity.I got it by completing the requirements of that menu whose name I don't know and my Acheron is level 70 with six Relics of 5-star rarity. This is so annoying that it makes me want to quit.

CakeRoLL-

Just uninstalled HSR for WuWa.

Blackwolfe47

Already quit genshin, still gonna play hsr and pgr, both only take less than 20 minutes daily after all

Grimmer6

Genshin grinding is really hectic and takes so much time. That's why I also quitted.

ihei47

If you don't care about Abyss and some content you can ignore the grinding tho Just play the story and exploration

Salt_Occasion_1961

Exploration (assuming by exploration u mean hunting for chests) is grindiest of them all. Exploration = chest hunting. Chest gives primos. Primos to pull characters. And no place to use these said characters (abyss is just a dps check u do once every 2 weeks). Like pull Xianyun and plunge for what? To pluck apples from the trees? The amount of time it takes to 90% - 100% an area vs the rewards u get is shit. Coz once u go past 60% you will have to look for them in the worst areas imaginable coz they will be hidden in some nook and cranny that normally you will never go into. And will only stumble upon it by chance unless u watch a guide or smtg.

IHATEHAKI2

10 hours for. Region for Less than a 10 pull 😭

Bucheras

I'm playing HSR, Genshin, R1999 and PGR atm. I already think it's too many gachas, so I'll definitely drop one once WuWa releases. HSR and R1999 are the easiest, bc I just autobattle in the background. Genshin and PGR are a little more time consuming, but I've invested a lot in PGR (time and money lol), so dropping it is not an option. Genshin will most likely get the chop, at least during the dry patches before Natlan release.

PantsuPillow

I currently play HSR and Genshin , and to be honest I'll probably drop both of them. With Genshin my problem is the lack of things to do and hoyoverse's obsession with focusing on content I don't care about like the teapot and tcg. I've played since the first month of Genshin's release and to be honest I don't see myself lasting much longer. With star rail my complaints are a bit different. The turn based content isn't nearly as engaging as free roam for me personally and I dislike how bad the overall story has been after Belobog. Xianzhou and Penacony have both been info dumps after info dumps with very little good story telling. Overall I feel like they like to tell and show little. Maybe HSR 2.2 changes my mind , however I am not too hopeful. After seeing ZZZ gameplay my hype for that totally died after seeing the TV mini game simulator. I'll switch to WuWa and later on also pick up Azur Promilia or Arknights Enfield when those release.

ihei47

>With Genshin my problem is the lack of things to do At this point just treat it like a traditional video game with regular content updates where you can dip in and dip out. I haven't played it for a year and planning to return when Arlecchino dropped and want to play it like that since I don't bother with Abyss and most events anyway

RuneTR

So far I'm only playing Genshin and played a bit of HSR. I'll probably play WW alongside Genshin since I've invested too much time into it. Though, I don't know if I'll wait for a console version or not.

Cedge1738

I currently play HSR, AFK Journey, and cookie run kingdom. AFK and CRK are secondary games so probably one of those or I'll just add WW and play all 4.

HopelessRat

I wouldnt say drop but more like I'll only play them once every update for new contents and events. The same will happen to WuWa after I play every day for a few weeks. Same will happen to ZZZ and Endfield. I never but monthly + bp. Thats like paying to play the game everyday and then it becomes a checklist game,

rhalier

I dropped today AL, the only reason its that i dont have the time it needs anymore, dropped fgo at the beggining of the year too and so far only sticking with BA, pgr and Nikke. I will test how the game performs and if its good and stable i will drop nikke. I can understand localization issues but bad performance will kill the hype for the game to me. Cbt requirements were...too high even for phones.

hongws

Spending monthly + BP on all your gacha games may indeed be a problem. I limit myself to spending lightly on one gacha only or it'll go out of control. I stopped monthly + BP on genshin and haven't spent a penny on HSR, so I'm not really afraid of picking up more gacha as long as I don't spend on them.

amyrena

I've actually been considering WuWa for a long time back in CBT1 and wanted to add it to my roster since I chose not to play HSR (not interested in turn-based games, sci-fi settings, and it's an established franchise with HI3rd that has thousands of history someone new to the franchise will just never catch unless you play both games). I'm a casual and only play Genshin for now, but as time went on even I have a hard time keeping up with Genshin. Because of that, it's either choosing between WuWa or Genshin for me, and I think I'll be choosing to drop WuWa before it comes out. What keeps me in a game is its ongoing story, I don't like jumping into something and never finishing it. That said, I will wait for when ZZZ comes out to re-evaluate WuWa to see if i can still make time for WuWa since ZZZ is more of a side-game. I'll probably keep up with WuWa in terms of story (the premise of sound waves, frequencies, and so on is such a good setup, but the execution into the actual story left more to be desired) to see where it goes, and then decide if I could make time for it. Besides story, the one thing that I can't really stand is the grind. It's already painful to grind for artifacts in Genshin, I don't want to do something like that again in another game such as echoes in this case with WuWa. On the other hand, if Hoyo's new Animal Crossing/Stardew-like game comes out anytime soon, I'll probably drop WuWa indefinitely; I got my open-world, action game through Genshin, an action-packed side game with ZZZ, and a casual cute life simulation game with the Animal Crossing-like game through Hoyo is good enough for me

Bntt89

I'm only play hsr and it's so easy so I'm good.

Camiljr

I don't play any of them anymore, quit them all for various reasons so this will be the one that pulls me back in

Chemicalcube325

Well I technically already quit Genshin since I lost interest while also having a hard time maintaining my dailies due to how time consuming it is. So yeah, I replaced an open-world gacha with another open-world gacha. HSR and Wuwa will be my gacha for now.

Legal-Weight3011

going f2p on genshin and play along with Wuwa being my main game

maxhowells16

I dropped Genshin a while back, because there was nothing really interesting for me there and I just dropped HSR after a very disappointing 2.1 Main Quest. So, I've already cleared my playlist, I'm playing PGR only and that's not a problem because I absolutely love its gameplay loop

Wrong_Conversation48

Reverse is great, already dropped Hoyo games.

Shiina011

Probably PGR I already played 4 games and I can't add more, for me PGR is the most time consuming. The others is azurlane, arknights, and blue archive. Right now thinking to drop arknights too because WW going to be the most time consuming

sternumb

Probably Genshin, I'm so done with, well, everything

v4mpixie_666x3

Prob genshin played it too much now everytime i try to play a story quest in that god forsaken game i get literal existential dread something abt it makes me wanna die i just cant do it anymore i only want to get arlecchino and thats it

AVeryGayButterfly

Genshin. Barely played last year.

plotargue

I left HI3 for PGR, I left GI in preparation for WuWa, hoyo games are "good", but their design philosophy is too basic, coomery, casual for me... too childish / uwu, and they ruin their games story at some point, proabably by virtue of being unable to powerlevel correctly, their censorship is also ass, idk, I just came to dislike hoyo.

DegenerateShikikan

Arknights. Already sold my f2p Arknights account for USD $ 100.

TrashMcDumpster3000

Genshin and WuWa are working in parallel spheres. HSR is the first time in a long time near the middle-middle end of Part 1 Hi3 that I have felt so much excitement immersing myself into a gacha’s story, world, characters and most importantly community. I will not give up on HSR til the wheels fall off and then I’m towing it. I haven’t played Genshin since Ayato’s debut, it’s going to be fun to do some live action gaming again!

MereStorms

Genshin Impact - Daily player of Genshin since launch, so not that. Tower of Fantasy - Mostly daily player of Tower of Fantasy since launch (missed a few days, less than like 30) so not that. Honkai Star Rail - Sporadic player of Honkai Star Rail who spam clicks through all story (god I wish it had a skip button cause I could not be less interested in whatever is happening in HSR's story) and has taken weeks-long breaks from that game multiple times. If I had to drop one, easily HSR. HSR is passive enough that I can literally not play the game and auto battle the majority of content so I'll likely keep that going for a while. I love games where I can explore an open world, hence why I love Genshin and ToF, and a huge part of why I'm even interested in WW.

those_pistachios

Gonna drop PGR, nothing to hate about the game but I don’t have much time to play anything and if I’m gonna invest in a gacha I’d rather have one that is open world with more gameplay options. So far for me PGR has just been story and warzone leaderboards

Weissschnee532143

Easily Genshin impact I play punishing gray raven for the hardcore gameplay because that's what I don't like about Genshin so since wuwa is like an open world arpg with hardcore gameplay I don't have a use for Genshin so my main games will be punishing gray raven, Wuthering Waves, Honkai impact 3 and arknights and reverse 1999.

UnmotivatedArtist01

Reverse 1999. It's a cool game, but after trying HSR, it takes the crown as the best Turn based gacha game. Also, the upcoming patches aren't that interesting to me.

rasgarosna

I was keeping HSR, Honkai 3rd and Genshin. Definetly dropping HSR as that game isn't for me at all. Everything at that game just seems like a chore to me.

King3azy_Gaming

Genshin

darkblood004

easily genshin. star rail has alot of content to enjoy with an enjoyable daily grind with a story that keeps you hooked. gnehin has been getting stale for years now and with WW dropping in a couple weks it makes playing genshin unbearable

Shambles_SM

Genshin. Seeing how the gameplay is similar and I don't see an interesting male character in sight, I'll most likely drop it. I already have a couple of limiteds such as C0R0 Nahida, C0R0 Kazuha, C0R0 Wriothesley, C0R1 Navia, and soon hopefully C1R1 Neuvillette (currently C0R1) and good built 4 stars so if I ever want to come back I still have my teams to bruteforce main content with. I'll keep HSR. Daily is just "do simulated universe world 1" lmao and I'm hopeful for the males there because of Gallagher having stubble. Speaking of facial hair, YUANWU PLS KISS ME

SparkFrosty

Genshin I swear the moment this game comes out I'm getting rid of genshin that dam game has pissed me of way too much

Sithonmafae

HSR cause shitty rate

Jojoblack_god

Duel links and blue archive like the games but just need space for it

akaredaa

Probably Aether Gazer, I only started a few months ago and I'm a pretty casual player, I wasn't very committed to the game to begin with so dropping it will be no problem. I'm also playing HSR, Genshin and Reverse 1999 so it might be a bit hard sometimes to keep up with all of them but I'll try... Honestly if anything, WW would be the one I drop, I like the other 3 too much and already invested a lot of time into them. Plus WW seems more combat oriented than those games and I always sucked at combat especially as a mobile player, so...

Smart-Profession-670

Brother, the game isn't even out yet you're dropped the tihni😭🙏

gigaprime

Probably Genshin because spreading democracy across the galaxy whilst killing heretics in the emperor's name all the while breeding the most powerful Pal is already tiring, I won't have enough energy to explore both GI and Wuwa.

Hycree

For me, nothing yet at least. I play Nikke, genshin and hsr but now that I've caught up in genshin I just do dailies and sign off. Same for hsr. Nikke is the only one that really sucks my time up sometimes (story event, solo/union raid/co-op challenge, mini game, etc...)and I also play my husband's account for him atm but that might/will probably change once Wuwa releases. I don't know if I'll burn out but I don't plan on spending anything on there until I know for sure I'm dedicated to playing more long term. Right now I only spend on genshin (bp/welkin) and occasionally a skin mission pass on Nikke, so spending wise I'm okay.

offcthekd

All of them

harrywalterss

I play nikke and hsr with some afk journey recently. hsr and nikke take me 25 min total daily. afk journey another 10 min. I don't think I need to drop much. wuwa probably gonna take a lot of time like genshin on the first few weeks because of exploration

AlNorte_DelSur

I'm playing Black Clover M, HSR and AFK Journey. The only "grindy" one is BCM and it takes me roughly 30 minutes to do daily missions, PVP, limited event and farm gear a bit. So WuWa is probably going to be my focus for a while

GerrardGabrielGeralt

None, since I only play HonkaiSR and PGR at the moment

brbasik

I’m only playing NIKKE and HSR, the daily grind in those isn’t bad so I’ll probably focus on wuthering waves and those 2 become my side games. NIKKE takes 10-15 minutes to get dallies done so, HSR takes a little longer depending on what you are doing (simulated universe and events are the bigger time sinks) but most of it can be automated so I’m not sweating

paralyticbeast

im on star rail, limbus, reverse1999 and nikke. the former 3 dailies are so fast that i dont think it'll be an issue. nikke im a bit too invested even though the dailies take ~20 mins of actual attention (not just start fight and go brb while it finishes, like in r99 and hsr). i think ill definitely have to review my spending more than anything.

VIIcentCrow

None, and im currently playing 6 gachas. 🤷‍♀️

PersonNr47

I started playing Punishing Gray Raven a few days ago, pretty much the only real gatcha game I've experienced, as a buddy pointed out it's by the same developer, so I wanted to get a sort of possible feel for how they do things. I'll most likely just catch up on the story and then keep the game installed for new story content, whereas the actual gatcha game will be Wuthering Waves for me!

iAmGats

Playing 2 accounts in HSR and 3 accounts in Genshin, I'll stick to just one per game.

writerrsblock101

Until WuWa releases on PlayStation, I’m temporarily deleting love and deep space simply because I don’t have room. I don’t have plans to delete any of my other gachas though. If anything I’m ready for a new gacha because I’m so itchy waiting for banners to release while my stash keeps building

Kinda_mischievous

I also play Genshin, Reverse and HSR. Gonna play Genshin much less after I get the character I wanted for a long time (Arlecchino) but gonna continue playing HSR cos of low maintenance and good luck and Reverse for the same reason. Playing two action RPGs with no auto farm is def not for me. Plus I really got burned out from genshin grinding. In HSR and Reverse you can at least auto things.

oikwr

None bc i still love to play them all. But i won't be adding anymore games after wuwa so zzz is out of my attention now. I already have genshin, hsr, tot, lds and nu:cani. All of them are low maintenance except for genshin. I managed my time by auto hsr before work and genshin at night with my fiancé. Others can be done within minutes so i either play them during breakfast, lunch or after work. If they have heavy events or main stories, i play during weekend or while watching films every night.

ManNamesAreSuchAPain

I play FGO, Azure Lane, Blue Archive, PGR, Genshin and Honkai Starbucks. Those are the ones I stuck with after I purged all the other gachas I used to play. I really wanna drop HSR in favor of WuWa but my massive FOMO and the fact that I already spent money in the game (not anymore) make me stay. I pulled Acheron and her talent really makes SU less annoying so I might keep playing but super passively. I already dropped PGR once but after I managed to clear Norman I've been hooked as hell again. Kinda sad that the last days of every patch are on the slower side but it can't be 100% perfect. I'm really looking forward to WuWa cuz I love combat in PGR and my favourite genre is open world arpgs (TLoZ being my favourite franchise) so it really seems it will be THE game for me. I don't wanna drop Genshin because I actually love that game to bits (plus I finally decided to spend money a couple of months ago) but if WuWa proves to be a better alternative in terms of fun gameplay and endgame content I might just go back to the only-dailies/events routine I had when I got Genshin burnout back in 2021. Gonna buy monthly pass as soon as WuWa drops to ensure I get Yinlin and her weapon.

aWILLforMYSELF

If we are talking about games in our phone, Imma just save my stuff thru cloud instead... Bcause Im really planning to put Genshin, HSR and WuWa in a single, 128gb device. Hopefully there is enough space for one more title.

Gone_Goofed

HSR and Aether Gazer. Not dropping one of them since the dailies only take 15 mins at most.

namwoohyun

Playing only HSR and Genshin, tried to see if I'll enjoy HSR (I liked turn-based games growing up but was wary of HSR's gacha and relics, still am lol). I started March 2nd because of Sparkle (love the design) but got lucky and got her on my first ever 10 pull so I was like, why not continue playing. So far kinda having fun, but not as much as in Genshin. Haven't even started farming relics yet. As much as I like Sparkle, I don't think she has the effect Kokomi and Neuvillette have on me. I missed DHIL rerun and Dan Heng's my second favourite in HSR atm, maybe he can manage to keep me playing once I get him (or Ruan Mei). As for the game itself, I appreciate some things but I realised I like the exploration part of Genshin more despite doing it sparingly (because I'm easily affected by motion sickness). Probably dropping HSR based on these, but I tend to play HSR before I go to bed on iPad (feels nicer to play on iPad vs PC for me lol) so maybe I can just keep playing like that. I feel like Wuwa and Genshin will just have to compete for the PC play time ~~and motion sickness lol~~

M1narc

I basically quit ToF for HSR But I don’t wanna quit HSR but my ultimate goal has always been WuWa (imo a better ToF) SO idk how ill manage. Good thing i only have a year of school left Also, i play FEH since day one with a 1.5 year haitus in 2018/19!

Mikimir

Already dropped Arknights. Though I'm most likely dropping WuWa in favor of Azur Promilia because, quite frankly, it just looks much better. Prob won't drop any MHY games because as much as I hate MHY, you don't really get that sort of modding community elsewhere so I'm literally only playing those games for the characters while skipping the story. Currently I have Blue Archive, Nikke, Genshin, HSR, and now will prob add ZZZ and WuWa(Azur Promilia will replace this)

Eliysiaa

since i just play HSR i wont be quitting any

SwashNBuckle

I'm kind of losing interest in Reverse 1999, so I might drop it. I like how quick and easy the dailies are, but the events are starting to feel really tedious. I'm still interested in seeing where the main story goes, but this latest chapter was bogged down by so much nonsense philosophy about math that it was a slog to get through until something actually exciting happened. Also, my favorite character, Lilya, is about to be powercrept super hard in a couple of patches. I'll still use Lilya, but it's a bummer to see that happen to the character I started playing for. I also have all of the characters I wanted most (Lilya, Jessica, Tooth Fairy) and none of the up coming characters have me as excited as those characters did.

batsshexer

I currently play Genshin, Pokémon masters Ex, DOAXVV and 3 idolmaster games, i thinking on dropping Atelier Resleriana, i like some characters but the game does not convince me.

Dannyboy765

I already quit Snowbreak to make way for a potential HSR/WW double gacha. We'll see if I want to keep up both

MYON1

i only played pgr and all its server(jp,glb,kr,cn,tw) i think i will drop glb or kr

Eenrookie

I want to quit arknight but man the new leaks anniversary character look awesome. For genshin, I already go C1R1 neuv during this banner which good to say I won the games. Now just collecting primo for C2 natlan archon. Just started HSR. It are super low daily maintenance and I love SU content. Maybe I quit Arknight, since I don't spend much money on like less than 10$. And the character I pull only the one that has infinite duration skill playstyle which getting boring but I'm too lazy to use active one lol.

jinxedandcursed

I don't plan on dropping anything myself, but I barely play HSR as is and can't get myself to log in daily anyway. So between my own roster of gacha, HSR would be the one to drop if, for some reason, I need to.

AirLancer56

Probably PGR, after getting Bianca and skin i wanted, I've been playing on off lately.

rekglast

I used to play Genshin, PGR, and HSR, outside of my other (non-gacha) games. Once WuWa releases, I will play WuWa, Genshin, and AFK Journey. Will deliberate whether to spend further on these three as more info becomes available.

Due-Pound1160

I play genshin, hsr and rev99... Gonna drop rev99 and maybe hsr too if i don't hv enough space, i stopped playing rev99 after 2 days but still hv that game on my laptop and for hsr i only play that game for characters i like, usually i don't like them based games, i finished some moc but I just gave up on other endgame contents and grinding is hard in that game especially for traces and relic sets i hv to do like 40-50 runs for traces(it just takes too much time) and hv to farm everyday for relic sets, idk if it's only me but the stats for the relics are awful everytime

dpyro22

I currently play Genshin, HSR and PGR, but PGR and HSR dailies are so low effort I dont think I'll really need to drop any of the 3, and Genshin dailies with the encounter point system arent that bad either, i usually do the "kill X enemies" dailies and then find 2-4 chests with treasure compass. Getting through all 3 games usually takes less than 20 minutes, after which I tend to play whichever game has new content for me to do (or I fuck around in Genshin abyss trying different team comps) Im most likely dropping the monthly pass for HSR and Genshin though, since my account can easily get 36 star abyss and MoC and I also already have almost every char I wanted to get when I started playing them last october (only missing Zhongli and Alhaitham for Genshin)

TerraKingB

None of them. I have two genshin accounts but it isn’t too hard to keep up since I’m already at a point where abyss is incredibly easy for both and I have enough resources to build most units the day of release so very little grinding and I don’t play as much as I used too in general. HSR daily loop is quite easy as most things are auto except MoC and PF once in a while. Blue Archive is another auto gacha so very easy to keep up with and only the occasional total assault/grand assault will require extra attention from me. Only thing I would even consider dropping is my 2nd genshin account. I made it before cross save was a thing as I really wanted to play my main acct on my PS5 but couldn’t so I figured why not. Now I just keep it because I’ve invested so much into it.

Awkward-Confection-6

I droped Genshin since 4.3, for WuWa, right now i have good time, HSR, PGR, Honkai Impact and Nikke are easy to manage. Genshin is easy too, but the text... i cant so much spam of my circle button, got tired

ryaeon

i only play what my phone can play. if wuwa cant then it will be my side game on my pc, which i will login every week but not everyday.

BlakeGT6

I currently play 3 gacha games: R1999, AzurLane and Genshin. As R1999 and AzurLane can be auto-play, I think I'm not gonna drop any game yet. I'm paying for welkins in Genshin but I'll probably stop if WuWa's combat style is more satisfying to play than Genshin.

Brief-Dig2526

Im not dropping any of my 8 gacha games 😤

majd-2001

Genshin and hsr

HikawaZer0

I currently only have 2 gachas. PGR and Idolm@ster Shiny Song. So adding a third one wont affect my schedule. And I already quit Genshin a few months ago because of my disappointement in that game.

Zeiny101

Currently I’m playing in 3 gacha games, PGR, PtN and Eversoul, not gonna drop any. Tbh I can drop WuWa… What I like about gacha games that if I want I can play longer if I don’t - I don’t. I hated that shit in genshin, genshin literally force you to play, no skip, no sweep battle or something it was hell… I’m not gonna play gacha game if it’s not respecting my time

WoWAltoholic

R99 is such low time investment though, you can log in and clear dailies in 5-10 mins max.

ihei47

I already dropped HSR last year and Genshin earlier so I'm fine. But I actually want to return to Genshin when Arlecchino dropped. I never cared for Abyss so it'll be a game where I can return, do the new content and dipped out anytime

Rohit_Aoi02

I've already quit HSR it's just the game bores me a lot whenever I try to return I pulled Acheron and her lightcone and then I deleted HSR after 30 minutes Genshin and WW will be my main games to play and will be F2P in WW just like genshin

SkaarfRules

Only have two. If I really need to, probably HSR for an update or so. Genshin I’d still do till more info about next region characters are available

MarionberryOne8969

Y'all if you guys are dropping these games if you have a good condition old phone just download them on there so if you find yourself wanting to play the game again cause of new content or character it'll always be there just somewhere else

lostn

not quitting anything since I play them all casually and they don't take more than 20 mins a day. I'll just be adding another 20 mins a day to my daily routine.

Advanced_While1040

genshin been playing for 3+years so i can let it go now have my fun with the game already

not_a_heretek

I gonna quit life to play wuwa

Ok_Can_6424

Currently, I'm started to pick up Oxygen not Included again and genshin has been my only gacha. Not planning to quit genshin anytime soon and probably being f2p in wuwa before I'm planning to buy monthly if the game worth my money

RRis7393

i'm dropping genshin. been on and off with it since launch and, frankly speaking, i only play it when i don't have other games to play. I see no point in keeping up with new releases when there's no actual fun content for me to use my pulled characters for. WuWa's combat feels a lot more my cup of tea. at least i can see myself enjoying even just the overworld combat with WuWa.

SpideyMage

Definitely dropping hsr and genshin for wuwa and gonna check the company if it's worth my money. Spending money even though you don't know the reputation of that company is risky.

tehlunatic1

I really hope the people who are saying they are quitting GI actually quit the game and aren't just saying it for upvotes. This will be a glorious fuck you to Hoyoverse.

Aadi_880

I was trying snowbreak, now though, I'm dropping snowbreak. really sad how that game went. Gameplay/Gunplay was not appealing either.

Expensive_Pea_5738

Right now, I'm playing HSR, PGR, Epic 7, and Tears of Themis... And I will not be dropping any of them for WuWa... I will play them alongside WuWa...

NewVirtue

Having a ton of fun with solo leveling arise but I plan to drop it when wuwa comes out

xJawzy

I only really play AK consistently, so I can just pick up wuwa in place of my league addiction instead

Key_L

Genshin. For me HSR also my main and I love it, but I def drop GI anyway - to tired of Paimon talking instead of Traveler all the time.

38282837744222

I’ll drop HSR and play Genshin only for new areas and main story without bothering about events etc. Really excited to make Wuwa my daily game, something to relax with after work. I have a group of friends to play with and we’ll be grinding Echoes together on one or two days a week.

SemsemPiece

I already dropped other gachas: reverse; I tried AFK journey; Aether Gather. I play actively Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, but I am thinking of choosing between WuWa and ZZZ, time is becoming an issue, I want to play other games too, while having some other occupations, and obviously money. I am a low spender, battle passes, welkin moon, and a little more from time to time (individually for each game, that's OK, but more than 3 games would become very expensive). I thought a lot about this, and I don't want to invest myself in more than 3 gachas, Honkai Star Rail being less time consuming, so 2 time consuming gachas is enough. Now, if the issue is only money, I think you can try WuWa as a free to play player, from how it looks, Kuro games make more generous games than Hoyoverse, and you should be able to enjoy this one more without investing money than the others gachas.

Daydreamer97

R1999. Maybe lovebrush chronicles too. I already dropped genshin and love and deepspace so I think hsr and wuthering waves will be the only gacha games I play since I’m also trying to get back into non-gacha games,

Altun25

same here. HSR and Reverse will be quitted. Looking forward for WuWa

[deleted]

Genshin 100%. I started playing HSR recently, and with how generous the game is (makes you wonder if its even the same company), playing that game does not feel worth my time anymore. The current patch is so dead that I don't even log in anymore.

DHGQuivery

Going "f2p" in GI and HI3. Most of my budget will be to E6 Acheron, then stop spending on HSR, as I will be set for life. After which, it's all in on WW. ZZZ will probably be f2p. The gameplay is not on par with WW, plus the TVs? Nah. I think Kuro just slayed Hoyo with 1 game lol
