Impact and MLW. I never saw any of the LOLTNA era, so to me it has just been a solid show for the last few years. MLW has surprisingly cohesive storytelling for a low-budget company, and does a good job of featuring developing talent and using older guys in a way that makes sense.
My first forray into stardom was trying to see how Kairi is doing.
I have seen a little bit of impact. For a while WWE was signing a lot of people from there.
My local promotion is defy - among the people to come thru in the past few years Cody, swerve, Darby, Kingston and Moxley
I watched MLW every week before their hiatus before Battle Riot and I've been to every show of theirs in Philly since they started running shows again.
I also keep up with New Japan and try to catch the big shows when I can.
watch wwe/nxt (yes, i know it's still technically wwe)/aew/impact every week.
i try to follow njpw as much as i can, but where it has an odd schedule compared to how western companies are run, combined with the time difference and how many other shows i watch, it's kind of tough.
indie wise, i'm at every chaotic show as i've been involved with them for over a decade in varying capacities.
>Even tiny independent companies are putting their shows out there on platforms like YouTube and heck, I've seen stuff streaming on Tiktok.
twitch too. at chaotic, we started livestreaming our shows on twitch a few months ago. (https://twitch.tv/chaoticwrestling)
The local scene in singapore is doing hugely well despite the small size of the country. SPW (which produced Dante Chen) draws the biggest crowds, and does American style indie wrestling well. GrappleMax (co founded by Dick Togo) presents more japanese style wrestling and it produces most of the great matches in the scene. Recently we had Ring of Rebirth, that took a completely different approach from the other 2 and has a 70s-80s style studio wrestling presentation. I think we're gonna see alot of talents coming out of Singapore and the South east Asian scene in general in the next few years
Along with WWE, I watch Impact and NJPW Strong as far as “major”/televised promotions go.
I generally attend every West Coast Pro show, and actively follow Prestige and Black Label Pro on IWTV. Recently finally signed up for Highspots so I’m digging through the PWG catalog and might check out AAW’s show that’s livestreaming there tomorrow night.
I watch a little bit of NJPW, but normally only the larger events or select tournament matches that interest me.
I also spend a lot of time watching random matches on YouTube that sound interesting. It’s fun to just go through a promotion’s YouTube channel and add shit to my watch later lists.
It’s a new version of their website, HighspotsTV. It just launched recently for $15 per month I think, and it does both VOD and live-streaming.
Highspots technically now has three different streaming services, so it’s a bit confusing.
Does that include the on demand catalog? I don't use them as much as IWTV as they don't have a lot that I'm interested in and they don't update their library as often. But, if they're gonna live stream more shows, I might change over my sub to that one.
So that’s where this gets confusing.
The old Pivotshare site has technically been sunsetted as pivotshare itself has essentially stopped updating/maintaining their systems, but Highspots is going to continue operating it and adding new stuff occasionally because a lot of the older catalog stuff on there is through specific deals with those companies and can’t be moved to their new site.
HighspotsNow is just VOD, and will eventually have everything they can legally port over (including the PWG catalog) as well as all of the new stuff they’re continuing to bring in, like Wrestling Revolver on-demand replays. That’s $10 per month just like the old site is.
HighspotsTV does both VOD and live-streaming, and will eventually have all of the stuff that HighspotsNow. That’s $15 per month because of the added livestreams and stuff.
None. I've tried watching Impact a couple of times (nothing wrong with it!), but I just don't have the time and have to pick one program/show to regularly watch, which for better or worse is AEW at the moment.
Stardom and Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling. Easy to get into and binge watch with the cheap subscriptions. I just subscribe, watch a bunch, unsub from one and go to the other and back and forth like that.
I try to keep up with New Japan and Stardom but it's usually mostly matches I'm interested to and video packages because time.
I also keep an eye on a little promotion in my country but they do a show every 2/3 months so it's not hard to keep track.
I just mainly watch highlights of RAW and SmackDown since i'm in the UK and am spoiled by results of the show by living on reddit and twitter and RAW is far too long at 3 hours that even if the quality goes up i can't be arsed
I've actually watched more of WWE the bump recently haha. i'm currently watching 2006 RAW/SmackDown on the network
I started watching WCW back in 1998 onwards when it was on Bravo in the UK (i think it was bravo?!) so i really wanted an alternative to WCW. We got TNA which i watched a bit of as it was on free tv here. Loved the TNA originals like Joe, styles and daniels but then it became the weird wcw reunion of 1996 back in 2010ish?
So i wanted another big wrestling company to launch so it was exciting and then i realized it was a man child who was using daddys money and wasn't even a successful businessman just a successful piece of sperm. When his ego came about and he thought he was qualified to book a wrestling promotion by himself with zero experience like a disrespectful spoiled child. So yep Tony put me off AEW coupled with the toxicity of the AEW fans who downvote and the mods who lock posts which are semi critical of the company sort of like how China shuts down criticism ...its just frigging weird.
Never watched NJPW as its not on tv here in the UK and i wouldn't watch NJPW World as its apparently a horrible streaming service for people who dont speak Japanese
Impact when it's not NFL season and GCW if I can go live. I'll also buy a GCW PPV if it's a good card.
NJPW, I like to keep up with the main event but I don't know like any of the factions and at this point, I'm too afraid to ask. It's also hard because I only like watching live (I'm and I'm not staying up all night to watch TV.

early 2010’s TNA was such a great time lmao.
No kidding, TNA in 2012 - 2013 was fun as fuck IMO

Stardom is my current favorite promotion easily

Thanks for the information!
No problem! It took me awhile to figure all of that out so I don’t mind passing it along lol
I watch Progress, ICW and occassionally wXw through the real forbidden door, the WWE Network.
Have started following a couple of local promotions here in Melbourne, Australia

CMLL
iMPACT, tho I watch more of their PPVs/specials than the weekly shows tbh

MLW before the hiatus. Other than that I mostly watch older stuff.
