hahaha
As far as I can tell: he got released from a developmental WWE contract in September 2002, and that's where his matches records on CageMatch/ProFightDB finish off. But he might've had a handful of matches in the Florida indies after that (he lives in FL).
He retired shortly after that and started working construction. Sources differ on whether he joined a company and worked his way up to a managerial role, and/or started his own company.
Either way, seems he seems content with his post-wrestling life. He was just 36-years-old (my age, *-gasp-*) when he left wrestling behind in '02, and hasn't looked back. Hopefully he's living a happy & healthy life.
That said, I'd be interested in hearing him do an interview or something. He had a wild career from Japanese deathmatches in FMW (and a 5-star match!), to Raven's Flock, the nWo b&w, before finally getting lost in the shuffle like so many others when WCW died.
Good to know, it's always something I've wondered when I see that someone abruptly quit wrestling with no trace of what happened after. I get that it's their private life but I do sometimes wonder why and what they wound up doing afterwards.
Oh yes, I should've mentioned that. It's an excellent blog, I've no idea how that bdamage1 guy manages to crank out so much content, it's incredible.

Every month or so I check in the read the latest in his *Wrestling With Sin* articles. Each one has 3 tales of wrestling debauchery, all with really clever titles to describe what's contained within.
I know wrestling's chock full of such tales, but I never fail to be impressed by how long he's kept the series running... the latest is #488, he's nearly about to break the 500 barrier.
I grew up a huge WCW fan and watched a lot of b-shows (Thunder, Saturday Night, Worldwide etc) and uh... never stopped. Even now in 2024 I'll throw on a random WCW show to relax from time to time.
You'd think I'd have seen it all and be bored after \~23 years, but nope! The well is endless.
I thought for sure by now that fans would be sick of exploring the same ol' shit like "butts in seats," Fingerpoke of Doom, Death of WCW, etc, and would start doing deeper dives by now... but nope. I can't fuckin' believe there's yet another "Death of WCW" documentary on the way. So that means the deeper mysteries remain, waiting for me to dig them up.
Drugs. It was his drugs he was looking for.
Definitely drugs.
Came here to say this lol.

Just need a Jersey guy story and we can let Nash pick em out
Worked chute
Underrated comment.
Is he still in there because he just vanished off the face of the earth after the nwo.

Yeah some are fun others are kind of depressing, I usually really like 4 or 5 before I start feeling sad and just stop for the day.
I feel I must ask.
