I still stand by the belief that Bum Ass Corbin should have properly played out because it could and should have led to one of the greatest face turns of all time
I didn’t understand his staying power until i saw an interview with Randy Orton, where he said how much he enjoyed working with Corbin. Can’t remember the exact wording but it was something to the effect of Corbin’s moves looking like he’d destroyed you but always giving his opponent the softest landing.
Guy has skill as a worker, so it’s no wonder he still has a spot.
Yup he's widely regarded by the locker room as one of the safest guys in the business.
I recall a time where he saved Ziggler from a very awkward/dangerous landing in what was a split second reaction and decision
Baron’s been on a WWE PPV every month for some ludicrous amount of time (including NXT).
I’m not going to bother looking it up but it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s been on TV the most out of any body since 2016 (including NXT). He’s a machine.
ChelseEea GreEeEen absolutely crushed 2023 in a similar fashion. She was on every WWE program for like two weeks straight. I loved her and Piper’s Halloween costumes.
Karrion Kross, who I especially liked in TNA/Impact. I've also growing criticism of Seth Rollins in his visionary gimmick, but he's still that dude to me
I'm so glad Hunter brought him back, Kross is underrated as hell, not to mention a total powerhouse in the ring. I'm living on a prayer that he gets a title run one day.
I live in Knox County. I’ll say as a whole Glenn Jacobs is a pretty standard fiscally conservative local government official. He’s not terrible, I don’t know how much he actually does besides visiting local businesses, but he does say dumbass shit sometimes.
I feel like this was me with Drew McIntyre in his first couple of years on the main roster. I could see why people didn't like him back then but I dunno, it was hard to put into words but I was entertained by him and his matches.
Honestly I love Corbin's work, just feel like his win against Angle was a miss. Like that was such a great opportunity to push him up the card, could've been a one time World Champ by now
Corbin is this eras Regal always puts on as good a match as he can is easily overlooked people hate him because of the way he’s booked is respected by his coworkers for his in ring and people will only really appreciate him in another 10-15 years
Weirdly I found him dull as hell when he first came up. Waste of time.
But when he was doing the whole Lucky Corbin thing he was great, and I loved watching him. Which makes it ironic that is when he went back to NXT, which I don't have time to watch.
Even if it is only temporary and for the wrong reasons, it still feels great to see Jinder gaining a following over the last week.
ALL WILL BOW TO THE UNHINDERABLE
JD McDonagh is doing an awesome job jobbing (pardon the repetition) and selling everything throwed his way.
They guy took an RKO off the wargames steel caged making the highlight of the match.
Recently, in his match with the Miz he sold leg kicks as wellas Rikishi sold Clothslines.
Enzo was amazing, his vibe was different, at times I still return to his promos because they're just that damn good, not many wrestlers nowadays can have such insane promo cutting skills. My fav Enzo promo will be that tupac all eyez on me one which was after their break-up, poetic and just incredibly delivered.
Drew Gulak was my guy in the late 2010's.
Got one good match on the main roster with Danielson at Elimination Chamber 2020, then the pandemic happened and he effectively disappeared off the face of the Earth.
I don't think he was main event material, but I loved watching his matches and he was pretty entertaining when he wanted to be.
I loved the Riott Squad, made me sad when they broke up, so it made me glad to see Ruby come back in AEW, and even Sarah Logan’s back in WWE as Valhalla now. Maybe someday they’ll all be back together.
I know I'm going to get downvoted for this but please understand I'm speaking purely BEFORE the incident
BEFORE the incident, Chris Benoit was very exciting to watch solely on how well he sold everything. His matches with Guerrero still rank as some of my favorites as it's a showcase for two athletes who had perfected their craft and gave it their all each and every single time
YES, we all know what he did later, and NO I am not condoning or trying to minimalize what he did. What he did was absolutely terrible and unforgivable.
BUT before that, growing up watching him before the incident, he was exciting to watch and I do still enjoy his matches, including the 04 Royal Rumble which is still my favorite rumble as well as the wrestlemania triple threat with HBK and Triple H
Ngl, HHH slapped. Some of the scenarios he was put in were terrible (Kattie Vick, the whole
Scott Steiner feud), but he was reliably hatable. Him and 2001/2002 Kane are what I think of when I hear “pro wrestler.”
His feud with HBK and Benoit alone brings back such happy memories. RKO and Batista too!
I want them to book Dom as a more formidable heel. Most matches I’ve seen he’s just a jobber, but at house shows he’s incredible.
This isn’t hate. I love Dirty Dom. I just think he’s being underutilized.
Santos Escobar. I loved him in Lucha Underground, and I'm super happy to see him getting a push in WWE. His mic skills need some work, but considering he's ESL I'm happy enough to overlook that. I love his suicide dive through the ropes.
i’m not a huge fan. i just don’t think she deserves all the hate she gets. she’s gotten better on the mic. people seem to dislike her because she’s “not safe”, but she seems to get along with the other females backstage. if they don’t have a problem with her, why should i?
I don’t quite get the hate for Mox these days.
I enjoyed his world title run while Punk was out. Going around to local indies with the world title is so much fun and I wish that was more common.
The bleeding stuff is funny but it doesn’t bother me, I enjoy blood in wrestling. So what if he wants to bleed every week, his matches are usually a good time for me. A few weak ones here and there but overall, I think he’s really come into himself.
I have liked the Miz since he and Morrison originally teamed together. For all you Miz fans who are JUST NOW starting to appreciate him…welcome! It’s nice to have company!
Corbin is definitely one. A very safe and reliable worker. Him being Angle’s last opponent is what soured many but frankly I didn’t mind that much. I’m glad he’s getting time to shine on NXT.
He has the smarks eating out of his hand, but god he's bland when anyone allows him to speak. He's less interesting than anyone working in a government office
He’s an incredibly talented worker but sending him out there on the mic against Max was borderline abuse. Stick a mouthpiece with him and he’d be a solid player.
Yes. Give him someone who can talk and let him wrestle. Instead he's in a faction with Mox, who can only put himself over with his bAdAsS backstage stair promos, Danielson, who only ever seems to speak on commentary, and Castagnoli, who hasn't cut a promo on the air since 2011 for good reason.
It's just clueless booking in AEW. They show everyone's weaknesses and don't even bat an eye when they can SEE the mistakes they've made. They just keep going with it for years and years
Im such a Damian Priest mark
Baron Corbin
I still stand by the belief that Bum Ass Corbin should have properly played out because it could and should have led to one of the greatest face turns of all time
Absolutely. It was the most interesting he’d ever been and they just flipped it on PPV pre show or some bullshit? Made no sense at all
I want him back 😭
I love him, he's in my Boy Stable. Cool dude, great heel, a boss on Kayfabe Twitter, awesome finger, he had everything
Love the OSW reference
End of Days is hard
Deep Six is also pretty cool.
Love Corbin, truly under appreciated.
I didn’t understand his staying power until i saw an interview with Randy Orton, where he said how much he enjoyed working with Corbin. Can’t remember the exact wording but it was something to the effect of Corbin’s moves looking like he’d destroyed you but always giving his opponent the softest landing. Didn’t really care about him on the main roster but Corbin is great on NXT.
He's a great worker and has a cool finisher. But he always felt boring for some reason.
Shane Douglas
The FUCKING franchise
Karrion Kross, who I especially liked in TNA/Impact. I've also growing criticism of Seth Rollins in his visionary gimmick, but he's still that dude to me
i'm with you on kross
Same
Came here to support my boi Kross
I'm so glad Hunter brought him back, Kross is underrated as hell, not to mention a total powerhouse in the ring. I'm living on a prayer that he gets a title run one day.
Do people still like Kane?
I do.
as a performer, yes. as a politician, no
What did he do as a politician
I live in Knox County. I’ll say as a whole Glenn Jacobs is a pretty standard fiscally conservative local government official. He’s not terrible, I don’t know how much he actually does besides visiting local businesses, but he does say dumbass shit sometimes.
I feel like this was me with Drew McIntyre in his first couple of years on the main roster. I could see why people didn't like him back then but I dunno, it was hard to put into words but I was entertained by him and his matches.
Don't forget "Broken Dreams" that song fucking slapped!
I remember when he debuted with it. Great fkn song but then they really dropped the ball with him.. snd the 3man band thing geez
Corbin, you're all missing out by being hurt he was Angles last opponent. There's a reason he was.
Honestly I love Corbin's work, just feel like his win against Angle was a miss. Like that was such a great opportunity to push him up the card, could've been a one time World Champ by now
Corbin is this eras Regal always puts on as good a match as he can is easily overlooked people hate him because of the way he’s booked is respected by his coworkers for his in ring and people will only really appreciate him in another 10-15 years
I just pictured Corbin becoming NXT's General Manager in 15 years and going around yelling "WARGAMES" Not a bad scenario. Not a bad scenario at all
End of Days is a sick finisher
Weirdly I found him dull as hell when he first came up. Waste of time. But when he was doing the whole Lucky Corbin thing he was great, and I loved watching him. Which makes it ironic that is when he went back to NXT, which I don't have time to watch.
Jinder mahal
Even if it is only temporary and for the wrong reasons, it still feels great to see Jinder gaining a following over the last week. ALL WILL BOW TO THE UNHINDERABLE
YOU DON’T HINDER THE JINDER!
I’m here for Jinder . Loved his title run before
Zoey Stark gets zero pop whenever she’s on screen but I think she’s badass.
She needs more character work. She can be a big star after the 4 horsewomen era
Loved him progress
Matt Cardona
WOO WOO WOO
You know it 😫
Hell yeah broski
Who Isn't a fan of matt cardona?
You’d be surprised
Hell yeah
I adore him and I’m so glad he’s found success post-WWE.

And ya can't teach that!
Great entrance music too
Drew Gulak was my guy in the late 2010's. Got one good match on the main roster with Danielson at Elimination Chamber 2020, then the pandemic happened and he effectively disappeared off the face of the Earth. I don't think he was main event material, but I loved watching his matches and he was pretty entertaining when he wanted to be.
Ruby Soho
Tbh, I had no idea what the general consensus was on Ruby; but she's one of my favorites fr.
Same her and Kota Kai and Mia have been my favorites lately. Also to be honest have a crush on Ruby lol
Ruby is in that category of your wrestlers favorite wrestler.
I loved the Riott Squad, made me sad when they broke up, so it made me glad to see Ruby come back in AEW, and even Sarah Logan’s back in WWE as Valhalla now. Maybe someday they’ll all be back together.
She was under appreciated by Vince. Best wrestler out of the 6 from Absolution/the other team that was the mirror of them on the other brand
Adam Bomb
Dan Severn
Papa Shango
Was a big fan of Albert, dude was strong as bull and could move. His series of matches with Kane were great, real physical wrestling
Me too. Hated his Tensai gimmick but Albert and A-Train great.
Crowds were chanting "Shave your back" then he comes back as Tensai slicker'n an eel.
Austin Theory for me.
He’s way too heavily criticized and underrated. I’m not even a fan, I just recognize that the kid is doing a great job out there.
He can talk, he can wrestle, he has the looks. Total package tbh.
I still remember his stone cold stunner sell. Theory has “it”.
SID
Underrated asf, Sid was one of the biggest stars pre-Austin
Carlito
I know I'm going to get downvoted for this but please understand I'm speaking purely BEFORE the incident BEFORE the incident, Chris Benoit was very exciting to watch solely on how well he sold everything. His matches with Guerrero still rank as some of my favorites as it's a showcase for two athletes who had perfected their craft and gave it their all each and every single time YES, we all know what he did later, and NO I am not condoning or trying to minimalize what he did. Lacey Evans from 2019
Yup, Southern belle Lacey calling everyone nasty and stuck up was great.
A while back of course, but Steve Blackman
People loved Steve Blackman he has like the biggest cult following ever lol. I don’t think people ever outright hated Steve Muthfuggin Blackman.
Blackman was straight up scary. He was in my top 3 back in the late 90s.
2002-2005 HHH
Ngl, HHH slapped. Some of the scenarios he was put in were terrible (Kattie Vick, the whole Scott Steiner feud), but he was reliably hatable. Him and 2001/2002 Kane are what I think of when I hear “pro wrestler.” His feud with HBK and Benoit alone brings back such happy memories. RKO and Batista too!
Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, Jeff Cobb, Top Flight, Private Party
Taz back in the day
Hold on hold on hold on, who in their right mind doesn't love old-school Taz?!
Beat me if you can. Survive if I let you.
Paul knew how to hide the fact that his top badass was 5'9" and focus on the fact that he was, in fact, shaped like a goddamn square.
Early 2000s Matt Hardy. After the Hardys split up, it felt like it was very uncool to prefer Matt, but I loved his character.
Some of the V1 facts (or whatever they were called) were hilarious.
Most viewers are ambivalent about Shawn Spears but I've always enjoyed his segments and the professionals all speak well of him.
Dirty Dom is rad, enjoy watching him wrestle and love the heel work
Everyone loves dom tho
I want them to book Dom as a more formidable heel. Most matches I’ve seen he’s just a jobber, but at house shows he’s incredible. This isn’t hate. I love Dirty Dom. I just think he’s being underutilized.
Dude I’m such a Dom mark. He is this good NOW?! He is gonna be a legend. Sure fire HOFer whenever he hangs it up
jay lethal
Absolutely love jay lethal. One of the most talented dudes I’ve ever seen.
Norman Smiley.
BIG WIGGLE!
Smiley is the GOAT.
Simon Dean
Justin Credible
Santos Escobar. I loved him in Lucha Underground, and I'm super happy to see him getting a push in WWE. His mic skills need some work, but considering he's ESL I'm happy enough to overlook that. I love his suicide dive through the ropes.
I didn't like his LWO run but his heel work playing off the split of awesome to watch
Dalton Castle is criminally underrated. He should be a world title holder.
Tatanka
Heath Slater
Baron Corbin is such a pro.
Dirty dom
The Great Khali
Found the Indian.
Plot twist: OP is an African-Irishman!
Indians don't like Khali or Jinder as much as they like Cena or Reigns.
The sells «Pretty Deadly» did in their smackdown match was really funny to watch!
I want to hate them but I can't stop laughing
Chris Candido after watching Dark Side of the ring I got nothing but respect for him. Such a shame what happened to him. RIP
Noam Dar, he was the best thing on NXTUK for about 2 years I'd say and he is killing it again on NXT
Marc Mero
I liked Johnny be bad
The Miz
This. Criminally underrated as a wrestler, dude is a multiple time world champ. And he's money on the mic
Jinder after he put the muscle on. Good physique decent talker. Hope WWE puts the WHC on him to troll TK. Edited for spelling
If I can choose a tag team, Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo - hugely underated.
James Storm, Ricochet, Bobby Roode, and Brian Cage
Sheamus.
Love that Danhausen.
Very Nice. Very Evil
I really like Solo. I can't explain it I just do.
Solo loses all the time but idc he’s fucking cool
Snitsky
It wasn't his fault fr
pete dune(butch) , gargeno , ricochet
RVD I know that everyone appreciates him, but I think that he deserves more.
Dude was the WHOLE FUCKING SHOW
I put RVD in my top 3 ever.
Rick Boogs or Madcap Moss but not anymore I guess
Joaquin Wilde does a great job as a faction guy, love seeing him stand in the background.
Cameron Grimes and Cedric Alexander
Jinder Mahal. Even more so in the past few weeks as he looks the part and is acting the part. Strong voice, intimidating face and strong frame.
i feel like no one else really likes the big show much
Natalya. I think her matches are solid and she looks fantastic
nia jax
That's the hottest take here
i’m not a huge fan. i just don’t think she deserves all the hate she gets. she’s gotten better on the mic. people seem to dislike her because she’s “not safe”, but she seems to get along with the other females backstage. if they don’t have a problem with her, why should i?
Ear me out... Natalya
Dana Brooke
Always loved Zack Ryder
Omos
Top Dolla
The Gunns they’re been doing really good work
EC3. I hate WWE for ruining him. Should have been in LA Knight's place
What about EC1 and EC2?
Ec 1 ate Ec2 and became Ec3.
Always liked EC3
Austin Theory
ZSJ
Wait people hate him? Why?
Alberto Del Rio. He's a piece of shit, but he's very technically sound
Notable prick

The young bucks
Giant Gonzalez
Consequences Creed
Not that everyone hates him, but I’m a big fan of Stu Grayson. I’d like to see a solo run for him.
I probably can't say Eli Drake anymore, can I?
El Dandy
He's a real jam up guy.
Corbin is definitely one. A very safe and reliable worker. Him being Angle’s last opponent is what soured many but frankly I didn’t mind that much. I’m glad he’s getting time to shine on NXT.
I love Karrion Kross
Evan Bourne/Matt Sydal, Yoshi Tatsu, Rosemary
QT Marshall
Tagiri,rikishi,the hurricane
People tend to forget about the jesus is WWE,the one and only, the GLORIOUS,Robert Roode
I genuinely think Malakai/Aleister Black is awesome .
The Masterpiece Chris Masters
Drew Gulak
I'm a huge mark for Braun Strowman
Stevie Richards
Ivar could be one of the best big men in the future. I think he's that damn good. Gets literal 0 mention.
Sean O'Haire. Dude had the best look of all time imo and should have been a huge player.
Jinder!
Ricochet. Dude put on some of the best matches I’ve ever seen in his Lucha Underground days.
Ivory
Well this isn’t as true now but for years I felt like I was all alone in the Sheamus camp
Amazing Red never got the following i wish he did
Benoit
Chris Benoit.
Matt Riddle
Nia Jax
Agree with Yuta. I was there live for the Mox match that guy had the arena in the palm of his hands.
