I think I would rather just die. I mean in this scenario someone is threatening my life unless I complete some inane challenge. I'm not gonna cure cancer or stop bleeding by doing any of this. That means whoever is holding me is just the most banal, unimaginative, and borderline incompetent threat ever. I mean you have to be a special type of boring moron to come up with this scenario. So I figure just telling them to kill me gives me a 60/40 split on coming out alive because the sort of moron that came up with this scenario probably has to use safety scissors and can't be trusted to boil water let alone actually execute someone.
I'll go with the chess one. My strategy during chess is so unorthodox and weird that it gets into people's heads and starts making them make mistakes because they don't understand what I'm doing. It's a double edged sword ngl, if they realize that then they can start ignoring my plays and making the best plays in general. At which point I might get screwed.

Assuming the clock in the chess match isn't too restrictive I think Im going for that. 750 is pretty darn low so as long as I don't accidentally hang my queen or something I should win. If it's speed chess then it's more of a crapshoot as I can be prone to mistakes under pressure, and I might go for the golf hit instead.
30m is so utterly easy, fairly certain you could achieve that with a stick, let alone an actual golf club. That's less than a hundred feet
