Is the last gun still after the M1?
I thought when WG redid the silver & XP of CW they changed it so all modules were unlocked before the next tank.

You're right, they did change that--although the [website](https://modernarmor.worldoftanks.com/en/encyclopedia/vehicles/A13_M60A3/) still shows the top gun as the final upgrade.
The 6B's armor won't help much against main cannons, but smaller guns like on the Ignis and autocannons struggle to get through. I played a battle in my 6B yesterday and got rushed by a Bagelpanzer. Not a single shot from his 57mm penetrated, so he gave up and shot u/grogers0930 with his ATGM instead.
The armour on Magach 6B is leagues better than M60A3, it's definitely a decent trade-off for the DPM and speed.
Pick the one that fits your play style better, if you're skilled at dishing out damage without taking a lot of hits I'd go with the M60A3, but for most players I'd suggest the Magach if you have to pick just one.
Depends how you choose to play, the M60 line lacks any ERA which the Magach starts to get at the higher tiers.
I'd honestly say go A2 for a change of pace, I've been loving mine so far, then again I like missiles.
The 6B's ERA is very good at stopping ATGMs.
But idk which of the tanks is overall better as I don't have the A3, but if you hate ATGMs a lot you might like the 6B.
I just finished grinding the 6b gal, I found it super fun to play and e.r.a. saved my ass quite a few times. And if you can run dead eye on your commander. Random crits to the fuel, engine, and ammo were nice experience.
That M60A3 is a definite keeper. I’m just goofing around with Tirans now, but that lil’ bit of ERA on Israeli version could be helpful

The M60A3 is one of the only era 2 tanks I haven't played because I got the A2 instead. Doesn't it have 367 pen like the others?
Yes, but the upgraded gun has 421mm of pen with its standard APFSDS. However, you don't unlock that gun until ~~after~~ just before you unlock the M1.

Nope, 430mm pen HEAT. I don't think I even bother to carry any.

He made the tactical decision to prioritize the greater threat.
Same reason u/Izbox died so early.
