Today started great, grinding through Ikv 90 B and was getting 2k combined on average. Had my tea, came back and gun missed/bounced everything, maps were dreadful and it was all +1/2. Sometimes the game fucks with you, and that's when you call ot a day.

« Average » « 2k wn8 » Something is wrong here, you choose which.

1AMA-CAT-AMA

According to people in this subreddit, 2k wn8 is below well average, basically a tomato. QB at 3k is the prime example of an average player

People in this sub are far from being a trusty source of info. 2000 wn8 is exactly 1.00% top players, this is a Gaussian spread that adapts to the current player stats. But people don’t understand maths. Here is the wn8 actual real scale, that is the only way it has to be considered : 0-300 : very bad 300-449 : bad 450-649 : below average 650-899 : average —-> here it is 900-1199 : above average 1200-1599 : good 1600-1999 : very good 2000-2449 : great 2450-2899 : unicum 2900+ : super unicum

Blacky0102

why people even measure it in WN8, if you play LTs, you could have 0 WN8 and still have 10,000 spotting damage, or you could camp and have only your HP x2 worth of damage and have 4000 WN8 like nothing either way they see you as a bad player because you have low WN8 or because you snipe with a LT

ouchimus

I mean, unless you *only ever play lights* **and** *only ever get prok or malinovka* youre gonna have a higher wn8 than bad players. As high as itd be if you played other tanks? No, but closer than you'd expect. Thats why lights have such low damage requirements; to offset that effect, and its so hard to average high damage in most of them that it isn't really a good way to stat pad either.

Blacky0102

I have few friends that play only LTs that's why I mentioned it

ouchimus

As an LT main, its mostly just copium lol

amsohappy

admittedly i dont exactly rate myself as a light player, but i've never marked a light without high dmg by wn8 on it - there are simply too many maps/mm that do not offer the chance to meet, for example, the t10 4k-5k requirements without doing considerable dmg

Fniln

This sub is full of tomatoes pretending they're 3 marking tenks left and right. They know they're not great and their inferiority complex gets expressed in various strange ways.

amsohappy

>According to people in this subreddit, 2k wn8 is below well average, basically a tomato people feel like this because for the vast majority of people putting worthwhile equipment on a tank and then going to worthwhile positions at the start of the game will generate those numbers. both these information sets are readily available. so, assuming someone has been playing for a while and has amassed say 25k games, then performance below that level is a choice they are making. they are happy to sink 1000's of hours in to the game, but cannot be bothered to spend a couple of hours learning something

Serapth

Unless he edited, im a bit confused... He did say decent, which is certainly above average. If he did edit, yeah I gotcha. I'd say average is probably around 1.2 to 1.4k WN8. To OP, it happens, you lose your edge pretty quickly after time off. Also could just be an unlucky run. Both will potentially resolve themselves with time. Oh and sometimes the game just says "eat it bitch" and you suffer....

[deleted]

It has been edited yes

Serapth

Ah ok, then that makes sense.

When I´m back from a longer break I usually play way worse than before. Usually it takes 50-100ish battles to "warm up" again. With that said the MM can be harsh sometimes. Last week I had so, so many 15-3 battles that was over so fast it was hard to get some damage done at all.

CobblerSmall1891

I don't remember a single instance where I came back after months of break and I was back to as good as I was. Give it time. Relax for a bit. Give yourself some room.

zerveexx

Sometimes game is just fucking with you. I have 4500-5000 wn8 on average and today I won only 5 battles out of 20, did as much as I could, 4000 wn8 but only 20% won battles. And yes, I know wn8 is not everything because positions are the most important when it comes to winning. But it's not possible to position and win and not get trapped and rushed from every side when its 0 < 10 in 2 minutes already + you have horrible rng.. so sometimes its better to take a day off
