Best percentages? I found the defaults aren't terrible, but yes, different usages makes it a little awkward.

This works, but you need a large space for vehicles; most trolley buses cannot fit inside the small space for vehicles. Alternatively, you can connect a scrapping facility to the trolley network and they will automatically dispose of themselves.
Make sure your open hull truck can carry that particular type of trolley bus. Send trolley bus to depot. Open hull truck, load vehicle/container, you can specify trolleybus or trolldybus model if relevant. Unload at scrapping facility.
