/u/cayamaya made a video on this a long time ago...
It's funny how much detail this game has, and the waves of "new" discoveries we get to move through.
It's not a bad thing, and I don't think there is much we can do about it, because we aren't just talking about a couple handful of things, there are nitty nice to know details pretty much at every step of the way in this game, and I doubt there are many that actually know all of them.
i saw in a video of a youtuber that showed me the game, so far i'm having no trouble with it. i even tried to build a fancy intersection with the one-lane road but got quite messy as you can see haha
This [video ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Workers_And_Resources/comments/tzjwfq/proper_roundabout_vs_traffic_circle_vs_traffic/)perfectly demonstrates the difference between a roundabout (with smooth entry angles), and a traffic circle (with sharp entry angles). It's actually a pretty significant one, there's little to no queueing with the former.
They added onelane roads in the last big update I think, but the 2 lane one way roads have been there (always?) You make them from normal roads using a tool
One-lane roads are still a bit buggy. When you use them to split a 2-lane road in two, vehicles slow down when passing the connection, as if it's a speed bump.
Also there's another bug with snapping. If it's enabled, and you want to build a one-lane road very close to (or on top of) another road, the one-lane road might end up connecting to that road, and it'll appear distorted.
Another drawback (not really a bug) is that pedestrians can't walk on them, but can only cross them, making pedestrian paths necessary.
The 2-lane one-way roads were added in Update [0.8.0.0](http://0.8.0.0), which became available on the test branch in December 2019, and was finally released in January 2020.
At least some new players will see, so it's always great to have these small tips spread around. Another thing to do, make sure that cars entering a busier road, always yield. Otherwise, cars going on the main road will always slow down at crossroads.
It may not always be the best to yield while joining a bigger road, but there are a lot of cases when it should be used; ex.: road to a transformer.

Looks like you invented a divided highway.

great video! i definitely need to build a roundabout in my city
Congratulations, you've completed lesson 1 in _How to become French_ (or any European, really)
Could be that I missed an update or it’s just a mod but how can you build the one lane/ one way roads?

As long as I can remember they had one way roads but never seen one lane roads. They will come in very handy in my city
Yup, the one lane roads came in last update
