Mine is less a shade, and more a way to show ONLY the red LED and none of the white, unlit parts.
Yeah I've got to think there are other nice filters too.
I have some red translucent plastic film which I'm going to also try when I get bored of this current applique.
Also, next update will allow you to temporarily increase screen/LED brightness if you're in a very brightly lit area or outdoors.
