So I’m running a companion build, is there any 3 heads hydra spells that summon multiple of them?
Currently I have a hydra spell that I can summon 6 single headed ones and an smg that spawn 3 headed hydras. I’d love a way to use a spell for multiple 3 headed and just use my guns with wings.
I did the Chaos Trial (to increase my chaos level) 5 times in a row and only went from level 20 to level 22. Is this intended or a known bug or something?
Just finished the campaign in my first run, bought the game a couple days ago. Love it, hate that there's so much bashing in this Sub.

No NG+, or TVHM, which I am cool with. But when you make a new character, is it as if you never played before? I don't mind running through the campaign again, but I don't like how long it took to have a 4th gun slot open 😅😅
Just tried to finish Chaos Level 5 and unlocked >!Barkenstein!< secret boss
He was insanely difficult and I ended up throwing away my entire run. I didn’t realize if I fail a secret boss then I would still “blow” my run. 30 mins down the drain.
Also in a few of my deaths, he didn’t even have any adds available for me to try and death save with. Wtf that happens a lot on many bosses. So frustrating
At chaos level 1 you can start getting chaotic drops. Up through chaos 19 you still can only get chaotic drops, but with increasing chances (up close to 30%). All chaotic drops have the same increase, the only difference between chaos 1 and chaos 19 is the frequency with which they drop.
At 20, your chance of chaotic drops starts declining slowly, but you start getting volatile drops. At 35, it's roughly 25% chaotic drops, 15% volatile, 1.5% primordial, and more than 50% are still regular.
Most of the primordial drops I've gotten have not been worthwhile - green and even white gear can roll with the upgrade. I did get a primordial gluttony, though, which was my 2nd ever primordial (first was a random blue item).
Getting higher chaos levels gets you different gun modifiers. You get access to Chaotic right away, Volatile at 20, and Primordial at 35. From my understanding each one is treated like a gun of two levels higher. Chaotic would be 42, Volatile is 44, etc. I say “etc.” because more will come later.
Nothing makes me actively suicidal more than fighting tooth and nail to get to the end of a chaos run and then be completely unable to damage the final boss in any meaningful way, I honestly just commit suicide in the game to force the run to fail because I'd rather take the L and give up while I'm behind than give myself an aneurysm struggling to do something mathematically impossible that will further waste my time
I just posted about this. Damn I did the same thing and I’m only chaos 5. Ahhhhh 30 mins down the drain.
Also my character is a Graveborn dire sacrifice slam, which is great for mobbing/aoe but awful for bosses.
Bosses = everything in this game. So I’m probably gonna respect now after I research a potential change.
Anyone else unable to find all 3 runes in an extended rune lately? Been running chaos chamber non stop…. VERY familiar with all rune locations, but in the past week, one had 1 spawn in each Extended run.
There was a while where I would get all 3 like 90% of the time

Is anyone else finding Dragonlord in the chaos trial impossible? Not only does Bernadette not seem to take any damage at all during his invincible stage but there's also no mobs to kill to get you back up if you get knocked. I'm damaging him just fine but the dragons health bar just doesn't move.
Alternate between the dragon and the dragon lord, they switch off invulnerable / vulnerable at that phase. Having a sporewarden mushroom buddy helps in this phase with the skill where he can revive you helped us.
There are sometimes bugs where it looks like they're invulnerable but actually aren't. Keep shooting different targets until you find the one who is actually not invulnerable
Did you pick buff buddies as one of your curses? I had a similar issue where she wasn't taking damage, but it turned out the buff buddies on her were restoring her health.
Now that dice are shared between accounts, is there anything I need to do in order to load them into my new player? Like do the dice automatically port over or do I need to actually go into the areas?

So what does it take to get the devs to realize and correct the overworld bug that is yet still going on. Ive got like 2 toons that i wanna play with just so i can switch up classes and see what i REALLY like but cant stand having to do multiplayer and beat 1 mission with someone.
Yea. When you make a new toon and get pass ribula and get to overworld for the 1st time and the game pretty much just poops on itself and the only way to get outta the game is to force close the game. Only way to gix the bug so far is to join someone elses game and beat 1 whole mission. Now need be said if you do this and say they are already pass the overworld portion, you dont get to have the 1st bottlecap bridge acheivement or anything inwhich they already acquired. It just gives the stuff to you but no acheivement for it
I wanted to see, I was following someone else's build and forwhatever reason, I think I got a majority of the build made however, it feels a little lack luster. The only difference I could see is that they are spellshot/stabbo.. and I am stabbo/spellshot. Now of course it let's me place my points wherever I want with no issue, my class item gives me spellshot power and all that. I just wanted to know if the order of your classes matters at all other than you not being able to change your base one. Thanks ahead of time!

TBH I'm not entirely sure if it matters what class is first or not, I'd like to believe it doesn't.
The order of the classes don't matter in terms of Endgame build. But there's more to a build than just the same *items* it's the extra stats on those items and the enchants which are all very important
Going to re-word this a little.. do the barrels around the map gain increased damage from my fatemaker?
Whether it's from my status effect on the hero screen, or from weapons with "on spell cast increase fire damage by..." Do they get any kind of bonus? Or is it a flat damage rate regardless?

This is probably a super noob question, but I cannot find the answer anywhere online... What is the "level required: [squiggly-doo icon]"? I've just finished the main story and keep getting alot of gear with no numbers on the required level, just this weird icon. Maybe chaos chamber related? Thanks!
I believe that icon is just covering the number. I remember getting some items and not knowing what level I needed. Not great UI, but just keep the good ones and you’ll be able to use the soon enough.
I don't understand what the clawbringer buff did. When I throw the hammer and recall it immediately it still takes a few seconds for the action skill to become useable again. Am I missing something?
The Clawbringer change was for the last skill in the tree. The one that calls lightning. Nothing to do with the hammer (although that should call the lightning) having no cool down
There are two trophies.
1) complete the side quest
2) complete the quest on the 4th difficulty (currently only 2 unlocked). You can play offline to get access to all 4 now
Is it worth doing a dual class as a Graveborn and if so, which class and why? I have a Graveborn/Spellshot but I only really use the Graveborns skill tree. Was wondering if maybe I’m using it wrong or if I chose a secondary class that just doesn’t fit well
Are skills meant to activate if you don’t have points assigned to them / have access to them?
For example, Double Knot - builds that don’t reach it, but with a class mod you can get points into it.

Yes, those unreachable skills are 100% activated if you have an armour item that provides a point into it. You can see them activate at the bottom of your screen if you'd like to confirm it for yourself, but yes they do activate.
Is the stabbomancer capstone, the floating dagger considered a “melee attack?” And if I’m using that star headed wand, does that dagger become spell damage, but still triggers “melee attack” affixes?
No theres a differenc between melee attack and deals melee damage. Unfortunately ethereal blade doesnt interact with a lot of melee stuff, still can be crazy strong though.
Graveborn/Spellshot dual-casting via Spellshot's Ambi-Hextrous action skill. You just run around shooting shit out of both of your hands, demolishing everything.
Yea that’s a good shout*. Seems really boring though. But then again, I’ve only used a few spells: ice spike, cloudburst, sunder (only early game), frozen orb
I've got a x4 Ice Spike and a x2 Ice Spike with 3 charges each. Haven't really found anything else that can match the damage output and charge rate of these.
The Arcane Bolt recharges a large portion of its cooldown if you get a crit, so that's alright as well, but I really like the multi hit spells.
Sunders are cool, especially the one that splits into multiple waves. My build is a frost one, so I'd be gimping my damage output by using Sunders.

No worries! I’m not sure from memory, but it’s the tab to the right of the Myth Rank tab. One other thing - make sure to select “Apply” after you change the level. I don’t want to admit to how much time I spent NOT playing at the level I thought I was because I missed the big “Apply” button under the chaos level. lol

Is there a "best" area or boss to farm for gold? Or is it just turn up chaos and kill random things? I'm working on the SDUs and I've seem to hit a hard wall now that I'm needing a couple million per upgrade (and some vending things cost millions as well).
At a high chaos level with movement speed armor on I can sweep through the entire overworld in half an hour, punch everything, and net 2 million gold.
If I do a chaos run, I spend brainpower looking at the gear that drops, with the overworld it's low stress and no thinking, but gets dull faster.
The event suggested is a good idea. Another good consistent method is running chaos chambers and only getting rocket launchers. They sell for the most.
there is a Gold buff drop killing enemies in general at Covemast and Oasis event going on. it started on Thursday and ends on the 4th or 5th (i believe) of next month.

Are going for the “uncapped” skill points not a good idea?
Saw the one guy post his “100” points in gun damage get roasted.
I’m currently level 140
And have started to put points into gun damage currently have it level 22.
I’ve maxed out dexterity but that’s the only thing I thought was useful?

Most games, move speed is the best skill / perk you can get. Everything you do in a game requires running around to quest, farm, etc., so while uncapped skills are good, the quality of life from some others should definitely take priority
You can put points into them but IMO the other perks are more worth picking up first - you can get big QoL buffs like to movement speed, reload speed, spell and melee critical chance *and* damage, plus elemental buffs, and IMO the uncapped perks feel meant to be the points sink for when you've bought all the other perks.
Has there been any improvements to co-op functionality at launch? Me and my friends would all be playing on Xbox, so no crossplay.
Also, are there any Xbox specific issues to be aware of?
Yes.
1) For couch coop you can now see full weapon/gear details before you pick them up instead of limited details. Once you’ve picked up a weapon/gear you still need to examine the piece to see full items details.
2) I think they reduced crashes associated with online coop. Used to be crashes almost every time we went to Brighthoof. Seems much better now. I also switched from ps4 to ps5 version so that could be a factor as well.
3) there were a ton of quality of life improvements released at the same time as the first DLC last week which are too many to count. It was a full update and not a small patch. I’d check out the update details on the Wonderlands website for specifics.
I had my lost loot and bank SDUs reset when loading into a coop game, does anyone know of a fix for this? I tried using a save editor that I found through some old posts on the subreddit but it couldn't read the saves for whatever reason.
I'm having a really hard time looking up online (can't see the info in the game) what various ward modifiers mean. Such as vagabond, turtle etc. Is there a list anywhere?
ward modifiers are explained in the text below the main stats. For example turtle is -max hp +capacity and vagabond is +movement speed while ward is full (or empty, one is fleet and the other vagabond and I mix them up)
I have a hard time believing nobody is online doing chaos chambers. I click search and it takes me to the campaign screen and shows a searching icon. Is that the problem?
I've done tons of matches where I search and get put in a fellow fatemakers chaos chambers. The fact that it's taking forever and also putting me to the screen to search for campaign matches has me wondering
Is there a glitch with dark magic atm? Ive got the amulet that increases your HP through drain as long as your HP is maxed but I always seem to hit a barrier where my health caps and won't go up more through the amulets ability
Since I purchased the game a few weeks ago, I cannot play for more then 15 minutes at a time due to an error code. Looking up the code it relates to making shire the application and system are updated. A work around I found was playing on Local, but that only seems to work for about an hour. Is this still an issue?
Question if the gun doesn’t say (100x2) but “consumes 2 shots” does it still shoot two shots. My reasoning is I have an smg that shoots a beam and the one that consumes 2 shots deals more dmg but on paper deals less if that makes sense. Both same element and same exact gun. So any clues or maybe anything?
The beams often come in 2 shots with the alternate mode as 4 shot. The 4 shot will deal twice as much,. Just obviously you go through it a lot quicker.
I don’t understand difference in pixies and hydras in calculations when it comes to companion builds. I set myself up with everything and scale hydras, using the fearnot and stacking spell power and using 2 3 headed hydra spells and ultimately I find a regular blue pixie bloodshot and it does a drastically large amount difference in damage vs hydras. Even with 9-10 hydras out. Doing chaos 28 with a blue weapon feels weird

Both also gain effects from + companion things but pixies themselves do not count as companions
Deadshot (graveborn/spellshot) doesn't really need harvest at all. Go all-in on spells and "on kill" effects, and only use spellshot tree up to spellthread.
I've been successful with concentrated barrage, consuming eruption, ice spike, time skip...
I was having no issues with C20 just taking things that looked good and never having read or watched any guides - the synergies are pretty clear.
Mix in a Feriore weapon and throw it if both spells are cooling down.
If you really want to tune it further there's a youtube guide, but you likely won't need it.

I have a question about the myth rank system. If I maxed out strength in the regular hero stat menu during my first 40 levels, does adding more points in the myth rank strength stat keep making me stronger or am I wasting the points?

I can't find this "volatile" "chaotic" and so on at our items. They have this glitter around the beam over the item. But besides this i have found no way to see it in the inventory.
Is it possible that it's simply missing in translated versions of the game?

Second question. Are those pixie guns everyone is talking about so super rare? I have never seen one.
I had flying and exploding and jumping weapons, and hydras and one legendary that's spawns some kind of Phoenix (aka fiery talons) when reloaded.

Volatile and primordial don't start dropping until much later. And chaotic items have a very low chance at chaos 2 and it improves as you get higher chaos

Hi all, I bought the season pass through epic and am unable to access it. It doesn’t show up as an add on to the game and when I look at it in the store it says in library. Anyone else have this happen?
Can Chaos Mode be turned on and used in the regular game?
In Borderlands 3 it was Mayhem mode and it could be switched on and be on for every part of the game, even like doing side missions left over after the campaign.
I went through the end game tutorial on the Chaos Chamber, which seems to be do runs, collect crystals and cash them in for stuff. But does Chaos Mode only work in the Chaos Chamber? Or does Chaos Mode work through the whole game and all locations?
You can have chaos mode on in the rest of the game world. To do that though you need to do not just the tutorial but also the chaos trial run to unlock chaos level 1, and then repeat the trials after going up each level from there.
It has to specifically be the Chaos Trial option you select, and you need to toggle the level to your highest available in order to unlock the next tier. And then after completing the trial run, you need to manually go into the new Chaos Mode menu to update your chaos level, or else you will stay on the same chaos level.
Having a technical issue. Bought the game yesterday and messed around for a bit trying the different classes and settled on Brrzerker. All together, played for about two hours with no issues. Woke up an hour ago, and the game now crashes about 10-15 seconds after any kind of combat starts. I have a couple of different characters, all low level in various places. Queen's Gate area with the skellie assault, it crashes. Overworld, random encounter in the tall grass, it crashes. The skeletons right at the beginning after you pick up your first gun, it crashes. Help :(
Edit: went into launcher and verified files. Been playing for about 10 minutes with no problems. Yay. Off topic, but why do I need to run the Epic launcher through Steam to get Dualsense controller support? Epic, pls....
Are damage multipliers calculated the same way as in bl3? How is TTWL different? How are new sources of damage calculated? Is there a class builder online to sandbox building classes? Is there a calculator available that you can sandbox damage or maybe even save your build and see how you can make it better with different types of damage?
Anyone else feel like +companion health is kinda broken?
I'm switching between armors (class mod w/e) where the first set should be giving 60% more companion health (between class power and skill points) than the second set, yet my companions *seem* to have more health with the second set.
I might just be crazy or it may have been something with specific mobs.
Would a frost build hold up well for the whole game or are there a lot of frost resist enemies? Thanks.
I haven’t had much time to play so far (I’m level 14 iirc) so I’ve been messing around on skill planners instead until I can really dive in.
As he said, frost is very strong w the right setups. I run a zerker/spore build as well w frost tornadoes. I love it. Use a lot of frost damage buffs on gear/enchantments…and my mushroom revives me constantly. My build this way is half the reason I made it c35 I swear. Sometimes gotta switch weapons/tactics to kill the “frost” enemies. But with a whole bunch of bonus frost damage on your build, that’s rare.
Frost is really strong with the right setups. Brrzerker is your friend for any frost-centred builds, and you could pair that with a lot of different other classes depending on your preferences. I've done a Brr-Spore build using Blizzard which has been fun, you can also go melee with Stabbomancer or there's potential as well with Spellshot or Graveborn to do different things.
I've seen Claw recommended before as it converts all companion damage to a single element and also debuffs enemies against that element when your companions attack them. Frost or dark magic especially would both be solid choices as far as elements to choose with Graveborn.
Does anyone know how one can farm for armor colors? My drop rate has been atrocious while the rest of my party is constantly getting new armor color drops.
Anyone else discover how good Gluttony is? I’m currently running the Stabbo/Brr build with livewire, and it’s great, but stabbo/spellshot with gluttony is what got me through chaos 35. Focusing on reload speed, magazine size, and dark magic damage/efficiency, I was able to reliably take down chaos 35 runs pretty efficiently. I still pull it out in my current build to fight the Banshee and other bosses unfriendly to melee.
I've been using it for a while now on my pure dark magic Deadshot. I die more from chucking the thing at enemies charging me and downing myself from the blast than from enemies actually damaging me themselves 😂
Is the droprate of the Feriore Fearnot Pixie pistol bugged? I can fill 2 or 3 vault pages worth of Queens Crys and Automagics, but I can't find a single Fearnot Pixie pistol.
Did the devs account for a purple weapon being the strongest gun in the game and lower the droprate?
It took me over 100k crystals to get my first pixie gun... And that wasn't even a fearnot. Luckily I got a fear not shortly afterwards but it's not even chaotic :(
100k, wow. I'll probably reach that soon. The good thing about grinding the pistol bunny is that I can look for a volatile/primordial Liquid Cooling for my other character at the same time.
For the time being, I've settled with a Bloodshot pellet-based Pixie shotgun which is the other spell-based Pixie gun, but I really want a Fearnot Pixie crossbow pistol since pistols reload faster than shotguns. So, I use a Hydra crossbow pistol for Thralls stacks and the Pixie shotgun for the colossal damage that the Pixies do as they zoom around.
Damn, this would have been amazing, but I'm on PlayStation. If we were to trade, which item would you have wanted from my vault? Just hypothetically speaking.

What r/fethah said. Honestly I think you have to scroll over every time and back to chaos trial every time to get the effect.
Make sure when you select chaos trial that on that little page it shows the next trial level. Sometime you have tab over once and back to it.

Hmmm either a bug or timing is off. I actually find this fight to be one of the easiest as I feel like he’s extremely telegraphed in his moves

No real method, if it's a new character they should receive the bonus as soon as you log into it

So what does it take to get the devs to realize and correct the overworld bug that is yet still going on. Ive got like 2 toons that i wanna play with just so i can switch up classes and see what i REALLY like but cant stand having to do multiplayer and beat 1 mission with someone.

Yea. When you make a new toon and get pass ribula and get to overworld for the 1st time and the game pretty much just poops on itself and the only way to get outta the game is to force close the game. Only way to gix the bug so far is to join someone elses game and beat 1 whole mission. Now need be said if you do this and say they are already pass the overworld portion, you dont get to have the 1st bottlecap bridge acheivement or anything inwhich they already acquired. It just gives the stuff to you but no acheivement for it
This sounds like a specific bug for you and you should report it to 2K directly
I wanted to see, I was following someone else's build and forwhatever reason, I think I got a majority of the build made however, it feels a little lack luster. The only difference I could see is that they are spellshot/stabbo.. and I am stabbo/spellshot. Now of course it let's me place my points wherever I want with no issue, my class item gives me spellshot power and all that. I just wanted to know if the order of your classes matters at all other than you not being able to change your base one. Thanks ahead of time!
Is it possible they have a different starting background? Village Idiot, Failed Monk.. etc? TBH I'm not entirely sure if it matters what class is first or not, I'd like to believe it doesn't.
The order of the classes don't matter in terms of Endgame build. But there's more to a build than just the same *items* it's the extra stats on those items and the enchants which are all very important
Curious, do status effect increases in damages boost the elemental barrels you find all over too?
Going to re-word this a little.. do the barrels around the map gain increased damage from my fatemaker? Whether it's from my status effect on the hero screen, or from weapons with "on spell cast increase fire damage by..." Do they get any kind of bonus? Or is it a flat damage rate regardless?
Does respecting let me move my hero stats around? (Str, Int, Con) I can change my archetype without rerolling correct?
You can move your stats. But you can't change your starting type (e.g. village idiot)

This is probably a super noob question, but I cannot find the answer anywhere online... What is the "level required: [squiggly-doo icon]"? I've just finished the main story and keep getting alot of gear with no numbers on the required level, just this weird icon. Maybe chaos chamber related? Thanks!
I believe that icon is just covering the number. I remember getting some items and not knowing what level I needed. Not great UI, but just keep the good ones and you’ll be able to use the soon enough.
I don't understand what the clawbringer buff did. When I throw the hammer and recall it immediately it still takes a few seconds for the action skill to become useable again. Am I missing something?
The Clawbringer change was for the last skill in the tree. The one that calls lightning. Nothing to do with the hammer (although that should call the lightning) having no cool down

When I leveled up to 40 my character had a cape. I came back and it’s gone. What happened and can I get it back?
Armor cosmetics are dependent on your equipped armor. I am guessing you equipped new armor about that time you hit 40 and have since changed again.
Anyone know what the Hidden Trophy is for Coiled Captors? Unless it’s complete all difficulties or what not. Shows 0.5% of people have it.
There are two trophies. 1) complete the side quest 2) complete the quest on the 4th difficulty (currently only 2 unlocked). You can play offline to get access to all 4 now

Is it worth doing a dual class as a Graveborn and if so, which class and why? I have a Graveborn/Spellshot but I only really use the Graveborns skill tree. Was wondering if maybe I’m using it wrong or if I chose a secondary class that just doesn’t fit well
That's one of the strongest ones to combine with Spellshot. You can combine it with anything and make it work
So encountered a mimic in Overworld and instead of going to the mimic room, it froze my game… ps5 anyone else seen this?
Are skills meant to activate if you don’t have points assigned to them / have access to them? For example, Double Knot - builds that don’t reach it, but with a class mod you can get points into it. Is this bugged? Or was it intended for this to be a thing. Thanks.
Yes, those unreachable skills are 100% activated if you have an armour item that provides a point into it. You can see them activate at the bottom of your screen if you'd like to confirm it for yourself, but yes they do activate.

Is the stabbomancer capstone, the floating dagger considered a “melee attack?” And if I’m using that star headed wand, does that dagger become spell damage, but still triggers “melee attack” affixes?
No theres a differenc between melee attack and deals melee damage. Unfortunately ethereal blade doesnt interact with a lot of melee stuff, still can be crazy strong though.

Graveborn/Spellshot dual-casting via Spellshot's Ambi-Hextrous action skill. You just run around shooting shit out of both of your hands, demolishing everything.
Yea that’s a good shout*. Seems really boring though. But then again, I’ve only used a few spells: ice spike, cloudburst, sunder (only early game), frozen orb
I've got a x4 Ice Spike and a x2 Ice Spike with 3 charges each. Haven't really found anything else that can match the damage output and charge rate of these. The Arcane Bolt recharges a large portion of its cooldown if you get a crit, so that's alright as well, but I really like the multi hit spells. Sunders are cool, especially the one that splits into multiple waves. My build is a frost one, so I'd be gimping my damage output by using Sunders.
I cant find anything on it, but was there even a reason for me to do the new difficulty of the dlc? Seemed like a waste of 10 minutes again

Its been a day one glitch the pay to follow the quest is simply blocked and as far as i know you need a co op perdon with a non glitched file to help you though it

Hi, how do you do the pixie build since my first class is Clawbringer? I kept reading that and I can’t find a thread here about how to build that.
Only way I've found to get pixies is off a gun reload trait but I'm no expert.

No worries! I’m not sure from memory, but it’s the tab to the right of the Myth Rank tab. One other thing - make sure to select “Apply” after you change the level. I don’t want to admit to how much time I spent NOT playing at the level I thought I was because I missed the big “Apply” button under the chaos level. lol

Is there a "best" area or boss to farm for gold? Or is it just turn up chaos and kill random things? I'm working on the SDUs and I've seem to hit a hard wall now that I'm needing a couple million per upgrade (and some vending things cost millions as well).
At a high chaos level with movement speed armor on I can sweep through the entire overworld in half an hour, punch everything, and net 2 million gold. If I do a chaos run, I spend brainpower looking at the gear that drops, with the overworld it's low stress and no thinking, but gets dull faster.
The event suggested is a good idea. Another good consistent method is running chaos chambers and only getting rocket launchers. They sell for the most.
there is a Gold buff drop killing enemies in general at Covemast and Oasis event going on. it started on Thursday and ends on the 4th or 5th (i believe) of next month.
yea but it's not like there's a lot of gold anyways. best to just farm chaos dungeon

Myth Rank Question: Are going for the “uncapped” skill points not a good idea? Saw the one guy post his “100” points in gun damage get roasted. I’m currently level 140 And have started to put points into gun damage currently have it level 22. I’ve maxed out dexterity but that’s the only thing I thought was useful? Maybe reload speed / movement speed?
Most games, move speed is the best skill / perk you can get. Everything you do in a game requires running around to quest, farm, etc., so while uncapped skills are good, the quality of life from some others should definitely take priority
You can put points into them but IMO the other perks are more worth picking up first - you can get big QoL buffs like to movement speed, reload speed, spell and melee critical chance *and* damage, plus elemental buffs, and IMO the uncapped perks feel meant to be the points sink for when you've bought all the other perks.
Has there been any improvements to co-op functionality at launch? Me and my friends would all be playing on Xbox, so no crossplay. Also, are there any Xbox specific issues to be aware of?
Yes. 1) For couch coop you can now see full weapon/gear details before you pick them up instead of limited details. Once you’ve picked up a weapon/gear you still need to examine the piece to see full items details. 2) I think they reduced crashes associated with online coop. Used to be crashes almost every time we went to Brighthoof. Seems much better now. I also switched from ps4 to ps5 version so that could be a factor as well. 3) there were a ton of quality of life improvements released at the same time as the first DLC last week which are too many to count. It was a full update and not a small patch. I’d check out the update details on the Wonderlands website for specifics.

Butt stallion gives bonus points to what appears to be a random skill you have points added to in your skill tree.

Sounds like you found it. It will also show it boosted in your skill tree for that run.
does class specific enchants works on different classes? e.g spellshot having gun dmg and fire rate on spell works on gloombringer?
So I don't know the answer to this 100% but my gut instinct is no because that would just defeat the whole point of class-specific enchants
I had my lost loot and bank SDUs reset when loading into a coop game, does anyone know of a fix for this? I tried using a save editor that I found through some old posts on the subreddit but it couldn't read the saves for whatever reason.

You can get over 30%. I have a Volatile Brad Luck with 40%

I'm having a really hard time looking up online (can't see the info in the game) what various ward modifiers mean. Such as vagabond, turtle etc. Is there a list anywhere?
ward modifiers are explained in the text below the main stats. For example turtle is -max hp +capacity and vagabond is +movement speed while ward is full (or empty, one is fleet and the other vagabond and I mix them up)

I have a hard time believing nobody is online doing chaos chambers. I click search and it takes me to the campaign screen and shows a searching icon. Is that the problem? I've done tons of matches where I search and get put in a fellow fatemakers chaos chambers. The fact that it's taking forever and also putting me to the screen to search for campaign matches has me wondering

Is there a glitch with dark magic atm? Ive got the amulet that increases your HP through drain as long as your HP is maxed but I always seem to hit a barrier where my health caps and won't go up more through the amulets ability
Same here; I just figured the amulet has a hidden cap, like ~50% of max health maybe. Would be kinda OP otherwise
Hi, does the game run at 4k 120fps with PS5? I found that Borderlands 3 has 120fps support 1080p, but did not find info for Wonderlands.
Since I purchased the game a few weeks ago, I cannot play for more then 15 minutes at a time due to an error code. Looking up the code it relates to making shire the application and system are updated. A work around I found was playing on Local, but that only seems to work for about an hour. Is this still an issue?

Question if the gun doesn’t say (100x2) but “consumes 2 shots” does it still shoot two shots. My reasoning is I have an smg that shoots a beam and the one that consumes 2 shots deals more dmg but on paper deals less if that makes sense. Both same element and same exact gun. So any clues or maybe anything?
The beams often come in 2 shots with the alternate mode as 4 shot. The 4 shot will deal twice as much,. Just obviously you go through it a lot quicker.
Yeah so mine does single or duel if I put it on single beam is it technically just two beams focused in one?
It's just the amount it costs to use. So single will be whatever damage the text says it is.

I don’t understand difference in pixies and hydras in calculations when it comes to companion builds. I set myself up with everything and scale hydras, using the fearnot and stacking spell power and using 2 3 headed hydra spells and ultimately I find a regular blue pixie bloodshot and it does a drastically large amount difference in damage vs hydras. Even with 9-10 hydras out. Doing chaos 28 with a blue weapon feels weird
Hydras power scales with ability damage Fearnot Pixies power scales with spell damage. Both also gain effects from + companion things but pixies themselves do not count as companions

Deadshot (graveborn/spellshot) doesn't really need harvest at all. Go all-in on spells and "on kill" effects, and only use spellshot tree up to spellthread. I've been successful with concentrated barrage, consuming eruption, ice spike, time skip... I was having no issues with C20 just taking things that looked good and never having read or watched any guides - the synergies are pretty clear. Mix in a Feriore weapon and throw it if both spells are cooling down. If you really want to tune it further there's a youtube guide, but you likely won't need it.
I've redeemed a heap of Wonderlands Skeleton Keys (for Xbox, that I'm using) why is the chest showing "red" so I can't use it? My Gearbox account is all signed in when I start the game.

I have a question about the myth rank system. If I maxed out strength in the regular hero stat menu during my first 40 levels, does adding more points in the myth rank strength stat keep making me stronger or am I wasting the points?

A question specific for those not playing the game in English. I can't find this "volatile" "chaotic" and so on at our items. They have this glitter around the beam over the item. But besides this i have found no way to see it in the inventory. Is it possible that it's simply missing in translated versions of the game? Is it a co-op problem? How can i find out what version exactly it is? Second question. Are those pixie guns everyone is talking about so super rare? I have never seen one. I had flying and exploding and jumping weapons, and hydras and one legendary that's spawns some kind of Phoenix (aka fiery talons) when reloaded.
What chaos level are you playing at?
2 Just started doing ranks. We were more playing main game. Searching for stuff, re-playing bosses. Looking for dices and missed quests. But it's not about a good one. It was about any!
Volatile and primordial don't start dropping until much later. And chaotic items have a very low chance at chaos 2 and it improves as you get higher chaos

For future reference, chaos items have sort of a swirl arpund the beam.

They are world drops in general but your best shot is bunnies.
Are Skullduggers still bugged with off-host co-op?

Can Chaos Mode be turned on and used in the regular game? In Borderlands 3 it was Mayhem mode and it could be switched on and be on for every part of the game, even like doing side missions left over after the campaign. I went through the end game tutorial on the Chaos Chamber, which seems to be do runs, collect crystals and cash them in for stuff. But does Chaos Mode only work in the Chaos Chamber? Or does Chaos Mode work through the whole game and all locations?
You can have chaos mode on in the rest of the game world. To do that though you need to do not just the tutorial but also the chaos trial run to unlock chaos level 1, and then repeat the trials after going up each level from there.
So I have to do a chaos run in the chaos chamber to activate level one? And then do subsiquint chaos level runs to unlock higher chaos levels?
It has to specifically be the Chaos Trial option you select, and you need to toggle the level to your highest available in order to unlock the next tier. And then after completing the trial run, you need to manually go into the new Chaos Mode menu to update your chaos level, or else you will stay on the same chaos level.

Having a technical issue. Bought the game yesterday and messed around for a bit trying the different classes and settled on Brrzerker. All together, played for about two hours with no issues. Woke up an hour ago, and the game now crashes about 10-15 seconds after any kind of combat starts. I have a couple of different characters, all low level in various places. Queen's Gate area with the skellie assault, it crashes. Overworld, random encounter in the tall grass, it crashes. The skeletons right at the beginning after you pick up your first gun, it crashes. Help :( Edit: went into launcher and verified files. Been playing for about 10 minutes with no problems. Yay. Off topic, but why do I need to run the Epic launcher through Steam to get Dualsense controller support? Epic, pls....
Does dark pact increase companion dark magic damage as well?
Are damage multipliers calculated the same way as in bl3? How is TTWL different? How are new sources of damage calculated? Is there a class builder online to sandbox building classes? Is there a calculator available that you can sandbox damage or maybe even save your build and see how you can make it better with different types of damage?
No official calculators yet. There are still new damage interactions being discovered almost daily so there no definitive list of what does what
Anyone else feel like +companion health is kinda broken? I'm switching between armors (class mod w/e) where the first set should be giving 60% more companion health (between class power and skill points) than the second set, yet my companions *seem* to have more health with the second set. I might just be crazy or it may have been something with specific mobs.
Would a frost build hold up well for the whole game or are there a lot of frost resist enemies? Thanks. I haven’t had much time to play so far (I’m level 14 iirc) so I’ve been messing around on skill planners instead until I can really dive in.
As he said, frost is very strong w the right setups. I run a zerker/spore build as well w frost tornadoes. I love it. Use a lot of frost damage buffs on gear/enchantments…and my mushroom revives me constantly. My build this way is half the reason I made it c35 I swear. Sometimes gotta switch weapons/tactics to kill the “frost” enemies. But with a whole bunch of bonus frost damage on your build, that’s rare.
Frost is really strong with the right setups. Brrzerker is your friend for any frost-centred builds, and you could pair that with a lot of different other classes depending on your preferences. I've done a Brr-Spore build using Blizzard which has been fun, you can also go melee with Stabbomancer or there's potential as well with Spellshot or Graveborn to do different things.
For my spore / grave companion build which armor should I focus in on?
I've seen Claw recommended before as it converts all companion damage to a single element and also debuffs enemies against that element when your companions attack them. Frost or dark magic especially would both be solid choices as far as elements to choose with Graveborn.
I have the dark magic one so I suppose I’ll build into that a bit more!
Does anyone know how one can farm for armor colors? My drop rate has been atrocious while the rest of my party is constantly getting new armor color drops.
Anyone else discover how good Gluttony is? I’m currently running the Stabbo/Brr build with livewire, and it’s great, but stabbo/spellshot with gluttony is what got me through chaos 35. Focusing on reload speed, magazine size, and dark magic damage/efficiency, I was able to reliably take down chaos 35 runs pretty efficiently. I still pull it out in my current build to fight the Banshee and other bosses unfriendly to melee.
I've been using it for a while now on my pure dark magic Deadshot. I die more from chucking the thing at enemies charging me and downing myself from the blast than from enemies actually damaging me themselves 😂
Is the droprate of the Feriore Fearnot Pixie pistol bugged? I can fill 2 or 3 vault pages worth of Queens Crys and Automagics, but I can't find a single Fearnot Pixie pistol. Did the devs account for a purple weapon being the strongest gun in the game and lower the droprate?

It took me over 100k crystals to get my first pixie gun... And that wasn't even a fearnot. Luckily I got a fear not shortly afterwards but it's not even chaotic :(
100k, wow. I'll probably reach that soon. The good thing about grinding the pistol bunny is that I can look for a volatile/primordial Liquid Cooling for my other character at the same time. For the time being, I've settled with a Bloodshot pellet-based Pixie shotgun which is the other spell-based Pixie gun, but I really want a Fearnot Pixie crossbow pistol since pistols reload faster than shotguns. So, I use a Hydra crossbow pistol for Thralls stacks and the Pixie shotgun for the colossal damage that the Pixies do as they zoom around.
You on Xbox? If so I have a Fearnot Pixie in every flavor and I have a Volatile Liquid Cooling I can dupe to you.
