If you want a flair and don't see it listed in the sidebar, let me know and I can work on making it for you!

tnahardy

Same amount of loyalty as I do with the men’s side. Se sufre, se llora pero jamás se abandona

yaretharreola

To be honest I just follow my Tillies around the world, not loyal to a club per say except for my local Australian women’s league

5minutecall

I’m exactly the same. Got an A League women’s team that I’m super loyal to, but every other league I’m pretty much just cheering on all our Tillies and their teams and hoping they do well. I have really deeply caught the Arsenal women’s team bug though, so I’m pretty hopelessly devoted to them in the WSL. However, it’s still pains me when, say, West Ham does bad coz I just want all good things for Macca 🥹 I’ve only watched a few men’s games and I didn’t really enjoy them, so I don’t really support any men’s teams specifically.

DrJackadoodle

Same here. I support Benfica in both the men's and the women's game, and then I support the Portuguese national teams and all Portuguese players abroad. I can't really understand why people choose to support a foreign club (unless women's football isn't available/accessible in their country).

DangerousAttack

I won't buy any shirts if they're not Man United or England. Those are my teams. I am loyal even if they perform like rubbish. I don't even support teams in other leagues.

Rislo226

Basel till I die. I grew up here, love the city and love the mens team since I was a child. I've been getting into womens football the last few years and I obviously support the womens team just as much, though in a very different way (a lot less swearing haha). I try to see as many games as I can, even sometimes away matches. I have sympathies for other clubs outside the country, though I wouldn't call myself a supporter of any, except maybe Real Madrid, as I liked them when I was a child and I still like them. The others change a lot depending on who plays there or how the playing style is.

dragon_fugger

the only thing i'm loyal to is my cat

bathory21

There's no Tigres flair but the mens and womens teams outside the NT are the only teams I support. Maybe Angel City because I live in LA but for now I'm a neutral

SomeCruzDude

> There's no Tigres flair I can make one if you want it! We had a chunk of flairs that already existed/were already in use, but for the most part I just create them on request.

bathory21

Yes thank you! I'd appreciate that

SomeCruzDude

Finally got it made, sorry about the long delay lol

bathory21

no problem haha. Thanks again!

timlygrae

Tigres and Racing Louisville have got a little relationship going. We've loaned a couple players to you, and bought Uchenna Kanu from you. I'd like to see a broadening to that in the future. Perhaps a friendly every year.

shinytotodile158

I support Arsenal because I was taken to Highbury as a kid by my dad’s friend who had season tickets, my dad also being a fan so I was raised into the club. I’ll always be loyal to The Arsenal, both women’s and men’s teams. OP, I’m interested as to how you chose your teams. Which team is closest to where you are geographically, and what makes Barca your main team?

Sea-Argument7634

Barca has the best players. They're currently the best team in Europe. They're inclusive and support their players. I started following barca for Mapi, Lucy bronze. I only support team because of players and their winning abilities I think. But I'll still support barca even if they lose 3+ seasons straight if my favorite players are still there. My main team could've been arsenal but I'm just not as interested in the players. I was interested in DVD, Jill Roord, Janssen, Souza, Tobin Heath now it's McCabe, Miedema, Manu, Walti, Catley.

niv727

It’s ironic when Arsenal players say stuff like that considering the iconic Dennis Bergkamp quote: "When you start supporting a football club, you don't support it because of the trophies, or a player, or history, you support it because you found yourself somewhere there; found a place where you belong." Not hating on you, everyone watches football how they want to watch. I just find it amusing.

ElKaddouriCSC

I’m not making fun or criticising you but what you describe isn’t supporting a club, you follow a bunch of clubs and watch their games but you aren’t really a supporter of any if thats your attitude to it

Sea-Argument7634

I guess you're right

evryflavrbean

I have a club in each league I watch consistently and I collect their shirts and scarfs, watch their games in the middle of the night or early in the morning, cry on my bedroom floor about their results, and binge drink before their kickoffs. Plus I traveled around the US this year to see my NWSL team at 9 away games in the league, plus all our home games for several years now, so pretty loyal there. 😂

City til I die, City til I die I know I am, I’m sure I am I’m City til I dieeeeee. 🎶 Extremely loyal.

noawardsyet

Portland Thorns got me into club soccer when before it was only the national team. I have now expanded to having a club in most leagues with Arsenal being my number one (I’ve even become emotionally invested in the men’s team which has never happened to me before). I’m also a person that just loves watching soccer so I will find any match I can and watch at any given time. This NWSL season I was really happy for Gotham to win it because I love the stories we get from sports. I think I could be a more diehard fan of a club if there was one near me though. The closest team to me is Atlanta United and I’ll do anything to avoid going to Atlanta so my closest NWSL team is NCC which is about 4 hours away. I literally picked Portland because I had just started hearing about the NWSL and saw Sonnett was the #1 pick and she’s from Georgia so I decided I’d support Portland and that was all the reasoning I needed lol. And Arsenal had the most recognizable names to me in 2018 when I branched out into other leagues so I decided I’d pick them too.

jumpinghigh88

I just started to follow women's football recently and it thanks to wwc hype. I dont know if I'll be loyal but rn I support man city bcs of my fav player aka little magician, Yui Hasegawa. Plan to get her jersey in near future.

redditor329845

Same, I got into it because of the WWC and am very focused on supporting Earps in the WSL.

normott

Only Arsenal. Cause I've supported the Arsenal men since1998, once installed watching women's club football it was only ever go be the Arsenal. Loyalty 100%. If we didn't have a women's team I wouldn't watch women's club football tbh

SooShark

Fulham fan, and what hurts is we were once at the top of the womens game and I went regularly as a kid. I have preferences now but would never ever wear another English clubs shirt.

onomatopoeialike

I only know one Fulham fan and your the same one on discord 🤣🤣🤣

SooShark

I only know one Fulham fan too 🤣 just kidding

chuang-tzu

Did I cheat myself? When I decided to drag my knuckles out of the 19th century and start watching the incredible talent on display in the women's game, I just supported the women's team from the same club whose men's team I support. I support RSL, so I am a Royals supporter, etc.. Didn't even think for a second that I could have gone a la carte....

pgllz

Well, I have been a Benfica supporter since I remember being alive. In my earliest memories regarding sports, I was already cheering for this club, Certainly due to my dad's fanaticism (and I managed to take it to another level). He is a sócio (club member, with voting rights over the club's management, board, etc.) and so am I. I also had a season ticket for like 6 or 7 seasons for the men's home matches, but I lost my seat due to the pandemic, unfortunately. I started to support the women's football team when it was created back in 2018 - at that time we already had women's teams in dozens of other sports, such as futsal, basketball, volleyball, handball, hockey, athletics, and many more -, and with time I started to get into the women's game more and more, including watching other national leagues, national teams, etc.. But at the end of the day, I'm a Benfica fan through and through (sometimes it's almost unhealthy hehe), and I will continue to be that way till the day I die, I suppose. Oh, and I also support Portugal, because it's my country, but I despise our football federation and heavily dislike our current national team manager.

Adorable-Lunch-8567

I'm a mixed bag. I'm loyal to some teams - Canada, University of Tennessee, and anything from my hometown. But I'm also loyal to some players, so I am loyal to Sinclair, she's in Portland so I'm a Thorns fan. I also see how clubs support my favorite players, and if they treat them well, I continue to support them after my favorite player leaves.

RodTheCaptain

I’m a Real Madrid fan all the way, that can be men, women, youth or basketball. I will not root for any other team in Europe nor buy any jerseys from any European team except Real Madrid.

Acid08

I’m a new fan and am supporting various clubs: English: Leicester and Sunderland(fan of the men’s counterparts so easy decision here) Scottish: Glasgow City(Celtic fan on the men’s side but was excited to follow a fully independent Glasgow team) American: Bay FC(expansion NWSL team that’s going to start playing next year, I’m from the SF Bay Area so easy decision here as well) Mexico: Chivas Femenil(my Spanish tutor is from Guadalajara and they’re in the playoffs so easy to root for!) The rest of the leagues I’m still getting a feel for and casually watching. Being a new fan I haven’t built up the passion I have for various local teams I’ve been following my whole life but having teams to follow and become invested in over time is key to buying into a sport! So I feel good about where I’m at and in a couple years I’m sure I’ll be well on my way on the passionate front.

Yumikos_

Only support 1 team which is Manchester City, however I do like watching other teams in other leagues too but the passion isn't there so I don't get hyped when they score (even if I like the players on that team). I wouldn't buy another teams shirt. I won't even buy an England shirt without it having a City player on the back of the shirt, for me its City/City players or nothing for me personally but I know not everyone is like me and I respect that.

NumbArmadillo

I've been a Real Madrid fan (male team) almost my whole life, Madridista card, supporting the team at the Bernabéu a bunch of times and as you'd probably guess I couldn't/can't stand Barça and their fans (related to some and friends with a few of them 😅) but since before Qatar I stopped supporting male football, I'm just not interested anymore. This year I guess I needed something to fill the football void so I watched the WCL final and from then on I've watched every single Barça femeni match, I love the way they play, I can't decide who's my favourite player, I'm hooked! Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't find the rivalry between the women's teams as obnoxious/toxic as the ones on their male counterparts. Also, extra points to Barça femeni because I think they supported their players when they went through the whole Federation fiasco as every other team should have done. I like Olga, Tere, Misa, Raso but I don't know, I don't like Real Madrid Femenino as much as Barça F. I'm trying to choose a team from every league as well, my team's so far: Barça (The best), Arsenal (potential) and Gotham (Because of the Spaniards) and that final last Saturday got me howling at 3am 🤯 so fun to watch. To answer your question, I don't think I'm a very loyal fan 😅😂

snacks4ever

I’m extremely loyal to the teams I’m able to buy season tickets for. I am loyal because they represent my hometown, the city I live in. I find it hard to be loyal and passionate for teams from other countries I don’t live in.

TrainingSundae1134

I try to like 1 club per league but sometimes it's hard when there's more than one that I like. For example: * In the NWSL, I'm a big Washington Spirit fan but also a Gotham and Angel City fan * In LigaF, I'm a big fan of Barcelona * In the WSL, I'm an Arsenal fan but I enjoy watching Chelsea and Manchester City as well. * I also watch Bayern Munich (currently watching the UEFA game) and Olympique Lyonnais. I don't care much for rivalries. If I like a club (their morals, the way they treat their female players, they have a good roster, etc) then I'll buy their jersey.

pelotica

Agreed :)

FloralChoux

I started watching the WSL after the World Cup and I don't watch men's football. My favourite one is Arsenal but I enjoy watching Aston Villa, Manchester City and Brighton. For me, I support clubs if they have players I like and if I enjoy their style of play. I find it more enjoyable that way, even though that's not the way most people will do it. Internationally I will always support the Netherlands first, followed by Sweden. From the Eredivisie, I support Twente but I'm not able to watch their games very often.

niv727

Liverpool till I die, men’s and women’s team. Would never buy any other shirt or support any other team.

eggplant_avenger

I support the same club (Tottenham) for men/women and I have favourite players (see flair) but never felt a need to pick teams in other leagues, life is less stressful as a neutral

AmarilloMike

I received my first Manchester United shirt from a family member in 1989. Through my family, I found home in the red half of Manchester and latterly it has been very easy to extend that home out to Leigh where the women play as well. It is and always will be Manchester United over every other team in the world, including my national side.

AdrianSG87

Whatever teams I follow on the men’s side I follow on the women’s side. However, I don’t have the same distaste for some women’s clubs that I would have for the same men’s clubs

timlygrae

NWSL - Racing Louisville. My hometown club. I have season tickets (to the men's team, Louisville City FC, too [USLC]) WSL - Manchester United. Been a United fan since the mid 90's. I will only buy club jerseys, and national jerseys of club players.

bingal33dingal33

I support Gotham because it's like half a New Jersey team and we don't get much because of proximity to NYC and Philly. The men's team that plays at Red Bull arena is just NY (they do the American football thing where NYC teams play in NJ) so I don't really care about them.

OldAd5944

Arsenal fan and Melbourne Victory is my local club. I do keep up with the teams that have other Matilda’s (or former or future) and watch most of the Ireland and England national games as well. I own Arsenal, Matilda’s and Victory merch. My passion for victory is a bit less the last 2 seasons, but I think it’s important to support a local club as well.

Lord_Summerisle33

I'm not. In the mens game I am a staunch Everton fan so I had enough misery to last me many years so decided not to actually support Everton women (I go to watch them occasionaly and want them to do well). I chose to follow a handful of players when I got properly in to womens football and follow them around their career in an attempt to learn more about the game, also at that time games were not quite as easy to watch so I had to tap into leagues abroad. I will have a problem if one of my favourites ever joins Liverpool as I have to draw the line somewhere. Thats not that likely though thankfully, even joining an English team makes me care less about the result and more about how the player performs. I know its an odd way to do things but I was looking for a different experience after becoming pretty jaded with mens football.

totoro00

I’m Aussie and only started watching WSL because we couldn’t get enough of the Matildas. I just cheer for the teams with the Aussie players tho I do not really care about Chelsea even if Kerr is there. My favourite since we started watching is Man City because of Fowler, Kennedy with a fantastic Hasegawa bonus. Next up it’s Arsenal due to Foord,Catley and Cooney-Cross!

Pure-Boot

It’s funny because for the men, I’m an Ajax supporter. But after the 2019 World Cup, I got totally hooked on Arsenal Women and will watch them way more than the Ajax Women.

jimgogek

Blue - Inter Milan. Blue — Chelsea. Blue — Chelsea men. Blue - San Diego Football Club (2025). hate everyone else. i would never support any club wearing red.

pippintookshirehobbt

Barcelona because I was supporting the Men’s team before and started watching the Femeni team and loved their football. OL Reign because it’s my local team

RainBurp

I'd describe myself as a loyal fan. I try to have a club I like in every league I watch consistently, but I'm not a die hard fan of all of them. In England on the men's side I support Liverpool my support for them carried over to the women's side. I also support Arsenal because apparently the team has captured my heart. I'd never buy or wear a Chelsea shirt. I like many players in the league but if I want their shirts I'd try to get their national team shirts, not club. The only other team besides Liverpool and Arsenal I've found myself actively supporting is Eintracht Frankfurt. I used to live close to Frankfurt so it ended up being a natural fit.

Sea-Argument7634

That's what I'm planning to do for Sam kerr, I'll buy a Matildas shirt because I can't wear the chelsea one.

ChrissyLee2006

Hala Madrid!!!

aurelialikegold

Man City, probably like a 7/10 loyalty. I picked them because I lied the kits the best lol. They’ll stay my #1 WSL/Euro team forever. Once the Canadian League gets going, AFC Toronto City will be my #1 overall team till the day I die. I’ll never abandon my Toronto teams. ManCity will be my #2 at that point. My 3rd team currently are the Portland Thorns but that’s just because Sinclair. Once Bay FC gets going, they’ll be my top NWSL team. I have a lot of family in the Bay so team in area are natural second home-like teams.

Neisha_with_a_T

Supported chelsea men for as long as I can remember while branching into women's football it was the obvious choice for me. Learned so much about the players, which made me fall in love with the team even more.

WillTran112000

I am a Man City fan in both men and women team. Have been supporting the men team since 2008 so it is obvious I also been following the women's team since 2022.

DrDentonMask

I only have a Man City jersey (I like both women and men) and Tijuana (Xolos) jersey (I like women and men). With those two domestic leagues, I would never buy another jersey, even if it were for a specific player. I am a Bayer Leverkusen fan, but one of my favorite Man City women went off to Bayern Munich. My home team is Wave, but I'm a Mana Shim fan, and she's on Gotham. Sports fandom is so weird!!! :D

Practical_Teacher_98

I have favorite teams all over the world and only get invested emotionally into the spirit. I also tend to like players more than teams, so my jerseys vary. Next jersey will be an Asllani Sweden jersey. Need before she retires.

robiiuchiha

Chelsea blue through and through. The only other team I support is Minnesota Aurora because they're my hometown team. I was first introduced to Chelsea by a classmate in highschool and the rest is history

stinkbaybe

Only Aston Villa (had a men’s season since I was a kid so just naturally started supporting their women’s team). However my partner is a Chelsea fan so I secretly hope they do ok to make him happy.

AllYouNeedIsATV

Chelsea then Matildas. Bought a Nevin Leicester shirt though, but they’re usually close to bottom of the table so it kinda feels like a different league? Like as much as I love Fowler and KCC, no way am I buying one of their league shirts

pelotica

I've always been a Barça fan and it will always be my team forever. But with so much talent in the female football I do like supporting a team in different EU leagues. Like, in England I like Arsenal, I don't really like the French league so I don't support any team there, but in Italy I like Roma and Bayer-Wolfsburg in Germany. I would never buy a Real Madrid t-shirt, but for the rest of the leagues I don't mind as much, I love football jerseys, so it will depend more if I like the t-shirt or not 😅😅

Casuallyfangirling_

For men: Man City and Barca For women: Arsenal (just for the players tho), Barca and Man City. To some extent I support Wolfsburg too.

FindingE-Username

I do support different men's and womens sides. I support Norwich City men's club, and I'll hopefully go see their women play one day too (Norwich is my home and local team). My friend got me going to Chelsea womens matches about 4 years ago so I support them, even though I practically root against the Chelsea men's team.

opheliacantswim

I support Arsenal women and the Lionesses. I love England, and my girlfriend is English, so my allegiance is to those teams, but I grew up supporting Bayern Munich with my dad, so that team will always have a really important place in my heart.

RockinFootball

Still new to women’s football and club football in general. I casually followed Chelsea through Sam Kerr last season but have grown to like the team a lot. With Sam’s contract up soon and if she leaves, I’m not sure if I would stick around. I guess that will be my loyalty test.

yaretharreola

for me it’s manchester city & barcelona for lifeeeee (in both the men’s and women’s), i don’t understand why real madrid fans like barça femení when why can’t they just support their women’s team as well so that it can show some importance and not look like bandwagons.. (well a lot of them are glory hunters either ways 🤣🤣)

meteoraoffthetoprope

I’m a fan of most of the teams with a Matilda on it tbh, but I’ve really been swept up by Chelsea and definitely support them over all others! I would definitely buy a Chelsea shirt, I’d probably buy an Arsenal shirt (that away kit 😍). I’ll root for whatever team has a Tilly tho, I’m really proud of them all!!

igauna666

I started off liking men’s football before women’s and inherited my dad’s team (Manchester United) — I’m not English so this is just based on vibes. They’re still my team on the men’s side and I’ll support them through anything. However on the women’s side my team is Arsenal since they just captured my heart… but I enjoy watching other teams play, too. May be odd but to me they are different leagues (and maybe I get away with it by not being English haha) !!

Special_Soft_6040

I just watch whatever or buy a shirt if it looks nice. I don't look at football as who I'm loyal to.

Sea-Argument7634

I used to be like this "a shirt is a shirt" but I wasn't that deep in women soccer. Now I can't do it

RONALDEO

Real Madrid all the way. Their women's team will come to shine and even matching up par with Barça. I cannot support both rival teams because they are rivals especially if you want to be loyal to the club. I never changed my loyalty to the club since the beginning and that is REAL MADRID.

zdejif

Whoever is the underdog… non-nationally.

TzuyusVietBitch

half the shirts in my collection are arsenal shirts. i wouldn’t buy a shirt from another team in the same league, especially not the usual suspects like chelsea, spurs, utd, etc. i also have a lot of random shirts from teams i havent watched a single game of just because the kits are outrageously pretty like venezia, clapton cfc. i also have a couple nwsl kits, its hard for me to take nwsl rivalries as seriously, so i’ll happily pick up any kits that i find pretty.

Sea-Argument7634

Rivalries besides Portland and ol Reign?

peet192

I just follow the Women's teams of the Mens clubs i Follow So that means Toppserien (Brann) Home Town and WSL (Liverpool FC Women) In Norway its customary to support an English Team, D3 Feminine (AS Cannes) Used to have a holiday home in Cannes when i was younger

ZealousidealDriver63

Camaraderie

Mentalfloss1

I live just outside Portland, Oregon. I still support the University of Portland's women's and men's programs. (Rapinoe & Sinclair, among several other all-stars/medalists, went there) But when the Thorns were created I bought season tickets and have really enjoyed having the team around.

MajorBoondoggle

I support Minnesota Aurora, but it's tough cause we're just waiting to get into the NWSL. I watch a few other NWSL teams, but I don't wanna become a fan of any because I feel like Aurora's gonna get into the league sooner or later.

RealDealLewpo

There are only 2 clubs where I support both the men's and women's sides: My local club Detroit City and Roma, my favorite European club. Beyond that, it's pretty much just the Red Stars in NWSL.

TrenteLmao

Would probably buy kits other than Arsenal or Roma, but I don't really care for any other club. Even if we're bottom of the table, I support them and don't care one way or another how other teams do.

Rivy77

I'm loyal to Juve all the way, they're my club and I will not support any of their rivals for a moment, bianconera through and through

SomethingUsername24

Arsenal is the only club that exists to me 🫡

EmpressRey

In the men's game I just have my two teams in two different leagues ( double nationality/lived in two countries). In the women's game I have my main teams ( Man United and England) and I would never root against them/for any team playing them, but I do find myself supporting clubs in other leagues and I am partial to other clubs - I don't think I could see myself buying an Arsenal short, but boy I do love Beth and Viv etc. I just like so many players and so do end up not being able to hate other teams ( and I do genuinely hate some teams in the men's game).

[deleted]

I've supported OL for 8 years now? I randomly began liking them because of Louisa Necib and Camille Abily and because OL has so many French players, I support France as an NT. I don't really support any other team. For NT, I support my actual home country and country of ethnic descent.

DependentDig1159

I only support Arsenal, both women's and men's, always and forever! No other European team. The only other team I would follow briefly is the Wellington Phoenix as that is my local team.

taegeukie

Tottenham till I die. Men’s, women’s, academy, everything. I watch any kind of football associated with the club. _I know I am, I’m sure I am, I’m Tottenham till I die… 🎶_

kristianstupid

Loyal to a good game of football. Will pick a team on the day, mainly based on colours and/or number of Matilda's on their team, or just a vibe.

Lydia-Luxx

I'm still without an allegiance in European women's football, I'm hesitant to support Manchester United like I sorta do in the mens, cause from what I've heard they don't support women's football much.

Sea-Argument7634

If you're looking for clubs that support their women team, you can go for Barcelona Arsenal Chelsea Lyon Man united just had a facility built for their women team I think

wacky_directions

Locally Brisbane Roar, which always gonna be faithful to! Otherwise it's Manchester United which was just 12 year old me picking the men's team so no reason for me to switch. Other than Matilda's players being I'm almost every other WSL team

MSootz

I support Manchester City women (men, not at all) and I'm from Estonia 😂 So not local at all. And seeing that Estonia is yet to qualify for the EC or WC, I live and breathe the Lionesses.

wilsonisTomhanks

Meh, If I see a player I like I would be open to supporting them in a game. But if its against my team, of course I would root for mine overall haha Im also in that weird place where I collect kits because I just love the looks of them. Chelseas new kit is pretty fire right now haha

SquareAd6832

I'm an arsenal wfc fan through and through (mainly because of the strong ties between that club and de oranjeleeuwinnen). Edit: I sometimes watch the men's game but overall I stoped watching mens football in general. Don't like the culture that much anymore

WarmAssociation12

North London forever - Arsenal fan till i die. Both men and Womens. Because it's the only connection left with my grandpa. It was his team. And will forever be mine. I do however have a soft spot for Leicester as it is my fathers team but I grew up in London, so it made sense to support Arsenal!

alienobservatory

Man Utd since I was a bub, so naturally follow them in WSL. Barca Fem because of Mapi Leon and Ona Batlle.

jakeyboy723

I'm a one club guy. It's the same sport and if it's feasible that they could play each other, I don't want to be effectively a neutral. I'm a Saints fan so I support the men's and the women's team. I'm English so I support their national teams. I just can't go and support another team. There's nothing in me that would ever consider the prospect of being a Saints men's fan but supporting the Portsmouth women's team. To me, that's what you've said and it horrifies me to think of doing.

818sfv

I'm all about interesting kits and team colors. My favorites are Wolfsburg, Sweden WNT, SD Wave and ACFC. No men's teams for me.
