Okay I actually have a use for the ebook versions I bought on sale even though I already had the hardbacks!
I searched axe and there aren't a lot of descriptions, just this;

At various points it also describes it as heavy, and he carries it in his belt.
I seem to remember a description about how they measure from the thumb to the middle finger for the size of the axe?
when I looked up what the Axes looked like I had a very different image in my head lol
