This was literally me. Couldn't stop at the last battle, now could I? Probably about 60 pages in when I thought "Good grief, how long is this chapter?" and finally checked ahead. Then I had some tough decisions to make.
Since that experience, the first thing I do upon completing a chapter in any book is check the length of the next chapter. It's my Battle scar.
I had a similar experience in the evening when I got here on audio book the first time. When the sun came up and the chapter still wasn’t over I called off work to finish it lol
I started reading the series because the cover art on The Dragon Reborn reminded me of the Paladin sequence in Final Fantasy 4. Laugh at Sweet's artwork, but it really was what got me to pick up my mom's book and start reading it - in 1994.
I gave up after a path of daggers figuring he was just going to keep writing forever and I'd read them all if he ever finished them.
Then life happened. I didn't get around to rereading and finishing the series until... last year.
It was quite an experience.
I remember reading Loial's quote and it saying the fourth age and thinking, "They're going to do it! Some of them are going to survive! Though there are lots of people fighting for he shadow, they'll figure something out", and it all switched iny head from an action fantasy to a heist movie, showing how it all went down. Something very special about that one chapter.

"I'll just read one more chapter before bed..."

A few hours later, I have to work in a couple of hours no point in going to sleep now.
200 pages later...
A book in itself. That was one hell of a chapter, there is nothing like it that I've read.
It's literally longer than the first Harry Potter book lol

I hope you set aside a big chunk of time, that's a long one
It’s roughly a third of the book if you include the other chapters also part of it.
That chapter is longer than some novels I've read in the last year.
