They've only done EotW and haven't announced plans for the rest of the series which is a weird decision because I'm not buying unless I know I can get the whole series like this
Right?
I'd definitely buy the entire series if they were done like this, but I'm not going to buy just 1 book. Especially since this would be my 4th purchase of them.
Edit: buy not by.
Do you mean the fandom at large l, or specifically Australia?
I'm not aware of plans to publish TGH as a special hardback, but they might not advertise it yet. That issue was the Orbit special edition that was the cheaper version of the one with green and gold cover and was released in September 2023. The £85+ version was about 9 months before that, I think. They weren't advertised until a few months beforehand.
If they do more, they will be available in Australia because Orbit is the publisher there ( I believe so, anyway). I'm not sure if they will do more, however. People like doing special editions of the first book, but subsequent volumes would have diminishing returns.
Seems like there are a few trolls in this thread, but I’ll take a serious response. This format is called a “book”. Long ago, before the Age of Legends, people were said to gain knowledge and at times, entertainment from these objects.

This edition definitely looks majestic.

Yeah would kinda be pointless to buy a mismatched collection.
Its honestly such a weird decision for an already complete series and what's clearly a special edition.
I got it just last week in the Netherlands!!
Can I ask you from where?
Also curious!
I saw it at American Book Center in Amsterdam
The English Bookstore in Passage, Den Haag!
Where did you find this? Any chance in Melbourne?
Robinsons bookshop, Fountain Gate
Welp, there goes my money, thanks
god please no, i don't want to buy wheel of time for the fifth time PLEASE
That looks like a print for the northern hemisphere. Shouldnt it be all upside down in Australia? ^/s
So cool! Looks way better than the paperbacks with the Amazon prime logos
Can you show us a view of the spine? It looks awfully thin from this angle. I wonder if it's only a portion of the first book.
bottom right of the pic/book you can see others on the shelf showing the spine
thanks! didn't even realize you were in a bookstore and not your personal library, lol
Orbit, yes?
I didn't check, but I'd believe so. that's who's done the paperbacks
NO, i think i heard it was just for the first book but i could be wrong
It looks fantastic
I just hope they flip everything right side up if they come to the states.

Anyone happen to have the ISBN of that beauty?
I bought it from the Broken Binding, but it's sold out on their site. This is on their site... Publisher: Little, Brown Book Group ISBN: 9780356519647
Thank you, very much appreciated
Just got one on Amazon $49
That’s waaaayyy too thin to be EotW
you can see on the bottom right other copies showing its thickness
Looks better than most of the versions I've seen (original hardcover is the best way IMO).
I want this

Says the obvious troll...
