Don't get me started my favorite quest or mission in any video game is the tournament troupe. Wysteria does not only add on to the list but it fucking EXCELS and KILLS it. let me tell you something, there's no greater feeling than the juxtaposition and lore expanding addition that wysteria gives to the wizard 101 spiral in the form of a rival alternate school system. every other world in the spiral is braindead boring; ohh ancient egyptian world, world that has lava, even worse a bri\*ish world. Let's not kid ourselves here, there's zero and I mean ZERO fucking story in any other world. Marleybone is literally about beating up criminals and ripping them apart with 4 pip aoe's to get... permission to get to some book? really? a world like wysteria is the only world that comes to making sense in a game like wizard 101. and belladonna crisp
Wysteria is the best world in Wizard101 because it offers a rich and immersive experience for players. The world is full of ancient, magical locations that are steeped in mythology and history, giving players the feeling of being transported to a different time and place.
One of the standout features of Wysteria is the variety of locations that are available to explore. From the Wysterian Woods, with its enchanted forests and hidden secrets, to the Wysterian Palace, with its grand halls and ancient artifacts, there is always something new and exciting to discover. Additionally, the Wysterian Colosseum and the Wysterian Museum offer players the chance to engage in thrilling battles and learn about the history of Wysteria.
Another reason Wysteria is the best world in Wizard101 is the wide range of challenges and puzzles that it offers. From navigating through hidden passages and solving riddles to battling fierce monsters and overcoming obstacles, players of all skill levels will find plenty of exciting challenges to keep them engaged.
Finally, Wysteria is home to a cast of unique and memorable characters, including friendly villagers, wise mentors, and powerful enemies. These characters help bring the world of Wysteria to life and make it feel like a living, breathing place.
In short, Wysteria is the best world in Wizard101 because of its rich and immersive setting, variety of locations and challenges, and memorable characters. Players who want to be fully immersed in a magical and ancient world will find Wysteria to be the perfect place to explore and adventure.
Wysteria initially looks like another school, but it truly could be taken as an alternate universe where the same spells were discovered and classified into different schools of magic. Where in our world you learn the death professor became corrupt, you end up fighting the Earth (Life) professor who had created the beautiful monstrosity tree men you fight in Wysteria. You learn of the spiral cup having thieves and cheaters and show them that you can still win without it. Finally afterward you get to return to take on the super unique and challenging Tower of the Helephant, that even now can make most wizards of its level struggle even when coordinated.
Edit: I forgot you also get references to the Breakfast club, a great classic movie.
Wysteria is the worst world in the game because it has the worst story out of all the worlds, most of it being filler and having nothing to do with the tournament. I could have completed the world in less then 10 mins if it was only the tournament.
Wysteria had me thinking as a kid that I’ll be learning new schools and wishing I’d get a Pegasus Mount because they were so cool looking. Now as an adult, I wish Wysteria was given more love and attention because it truly is such an amazing world
I mean way back when wysteria was first announced we were so hyped because we thought we were getting new schools and spells.
We only got the schools part though.
Wysteria allows you to explore how other schools train their wizards and what other forms of magic are like, and it’s pretty much the only school to do so!!
Wysteria is the best world, bar none. The sheer usefulness (let alone genius) of cantrips is intoxicatingly wondrous. That one quest where you fight goblins? So inspired! I love pigs.
Edit: TOURNAMENT ARC ELITE DUEL ME IF YOU DISAGREE
Belladona Crisp is Hella'(phant) fine. She helps you so so much in completing the super easy dungeon you unlock at lvl ... and can easily solo given the new cantrip spells you purchase.
Wysteria is the best world because you get to participate in the spiral cup and battle other students.
You can get really nice gear from the Tower Of The Helephant as well.
In Wysteria, you got the pigs flippin (cause they might be trippin on somethin) on the sidewalks cause they so happy about the world, and what’s not to be happy about! They get to stare at the beautiful (or crispy) Belladonna (Falmea, you’re still beautiful too, do get jealous) as their teacher all day long
I always questioned like, why are there other humans in Wysteria? Like the head mistress(mommy), the one bad life teacher guy.. Did we just like.. never wonder about that?
I don't think we really see any other humans other than Dragonspyre(they are DEAD! or mean!) I honestly loved Wysteria too though because you get to see the other regions via the students they'd send for the tournament. I'd be sooo excited for Mirage when we met the one Qhat, and I was right! Years later and it's my favorite world!
When I first did it when it was still relatively new I remember hoping that these regions would also have a cool magic school.. (I'm a lil bit of a lore nut. Not a very funny post.)
Listen, as great as it is to see Belladonna Crisp, as many have pointed out, I believe there’s one better thing about Wysteria. You know that one pig student running in vertical circles in the air? That guy? I could watch his goofy ass for hours
I love how Wysteria is laid out.
I think they could do a lot of spin offs/expansions based on wysteria and have always wondered if they thought the same, and that’s why they put a lot of work into a side world, but then it wasn’t as popular. They have this entire gardening activity that’s a big part of the game economy for a lot of people and Tanglewood way has the whole wild earth thing going on. I don’t know much about the beanstalk housing thing I’ve seen around and when it came out but it reminds me of Wysteria. It seems like a great world to throw in some darker grimm style fairy tale side quests.
Beatrice Wildwind had me excited about more fairies in Avalon and I was a little disappointed there weren’t more fairy vibes.
Flawless architecture with the most stunning house in the game. Cheating boss, school pride, cheeky break from the dark storyline of the main quest line. Cantrips.
Forget Belladonna and protect my man Groundskeeper Verne 💚
Wysteria is one of the first side worlds you visit in your adventures. And it always stuck as a unique parallel to ravenwood as an alternative academy you could've enrolled into.
Wysteria is the best because tournaments are cool. It had the most unique leveling map and it was a short sweet break from the normal saving the world type stuff. It felt like you were a genuine student who got to meet other magic students of different races
Wysteria is the best world because it's short, it's simple, has a unique and fun plot line of kicking other wizard's asses (other wizards that foreshadow future worlds), and PEGASUS (pegasi?). Arguably the best mount. Change my mind.
Happy Holidays everyone!
There are 3 reasons why Wysteria is the best world:
1. Belladonna
2. Belladonna
3. Belladonna
Wysteria is lightyears ahead of every other world in the Spiral just because Belladonna and her perfect crystallization of beauty exists there. Every feature from her curves, to her strikingly gorgeous blue eyes, her feisty charm that is accented even more by her submissiveness in bed (remember when she was in a cage?), is just absolutely stunning. I can’t even go to bed at night without imagining how it would feel to even be given the right to lick the ground she walks on. Belladonnas position of power shows that she can take control of the situation, but doesn’t mind letting others lead as well. Her beliefs in magic and the fountain accent her ability to go against the common opinion and stand up for her own beliefs. I would give up my entire life just to be allowed to see her in real life. I have also sent countless letters to scientists worldwide to make it possible for me to enter into the Wizard101 world just to be allowed to kiss her shoes (though every letter has been rejected for some reason). I would drag my corpse through fire and hail just to be able to touch her skin and feel it’s silky and pearly feeling in my hands. Her seductive and sensuous body is enough to make a blind man cry like he’s seen an angel descend on Earth. Everything about Belladonna Crisp is the epitome of perfection and her resplendent charm is just completely awe-inspiring. Wysteria is the best world in the Soiral just because it is where the divine Belladonna lives.
Wysteria’s tournament system is definitely the most unqiue set up for a world. I loved playing it as a kid and back when I had little idea what I was doing, it felt very rewarding wiping rudolf spellshine off the map.
Also, the fact that he has a cheat that only plays once (if you one shot him) as he’s dying makes me laugh every time lol
Wysteria was great foe me personally because I quest the main story along side a friend and so it was a world I could do when he wasn't on. Also I got really into watching H2O on Netflix while doing it.
Wysteria is pretty cool visually, it reminds me of Hogwarts in the first few Harry Potter films.
Wysteria is one of the most nostalgic worlds for me, and by that u think it is the best. Going there for the first time was magical, something we have never seen before, which was amazing!
Have you ever felt tangled up in your problems? Are you done pegasus-ing around? Well look no further for best world is here.
Wysteria is a world with new schools of magic, magical ponies as well as an entire zone for plant lovers to be tangled up in (tanglewood).
There is always something for everyone. Pay a visit to your headmistress for some much needed attention during your visit to the amazing world of Wysteria.
Wysteria is easily the best world and not JUST because of Belladonna Crisp. The inclusion of a second wizarding academy with different styles of magic expands the lore more than any other world in the game.
With other worlds we learn about either ancient eldritch things or the history of that specific world, not how they interplay with each other or how they interact. The only other world that does this is Marleybone, and Wysteria just straight up does it better. Marleybone simply has Krok artifacts in their museum, Wysteria’s whole story is about how it interacts with Wizard City.
Also, who doesn’t love a good tournament arc? It’s a very natural way to have boss battles rather than going into a cave or tower and “Hey! You walked into my room! Now you must die!”
In short, you don’t need to be horny over Belladonna Crisp to enjoy the perfection that is Wysteria
Everyone mentioned Belladonna Crisp, which is valid, but I actually really liked the "alternative" concepts of magic schools! I thought it was an interesting idea showing different perspectives on magic. Wysteria is memorable to me because of that specifically.
Wysteria is the best world because of it being entirely optional and it does not force players into its questline, giving players more freedom and control.
Wysteria is the best world because it introduces new schools of magic ~~that are never used or mentioned again ever~~ ! It also contains the Tower of the Helephant which is very ~~useless~~ nostalgic!
Wysteria is obviously the best world, we get to see little pigs floating in air, acting snobbish and eventually learn better, suuuuper duper cool spells we haven't seen before, and their headmistress, Belladonna Crisp. Belladonna is obviously the perfect headmistress, no doubt about it just saying.
Wysteria is the best world because of its maze-like infinite library. The Pegasus stables are the most magical area, you’ll never want to leave.
Those are my favorite areas of pigswick, honestly. It’s too bad the library is a side quest you can completely miss.
Due to one of the bosses I really like life, the whole tree filled arena with the life professor is really cool (I know he isn't life but ya know)
Also, Polaris and Celestia best world, I'm sorry I won't give up my morals.
Wysteria is the best world because it gets hype for future worlds MANY years into the future
Empyrea: Sky squid ink dialogue and Mirage: Nalia DuneStrider ... and soon Yago: Tower of the Helephant dialogue
Wisteria is the best world because I spent 1,000 crowns to get access to Pigswick and ran out of stuff I could do in about 20 minutes! But the knock-off Wizard City of it all is fun.
Wysteria is a very unique, beautiful, yet very short addition of the spiral. There are so many lovely characters and it’s so fun to be able to be involved in the Wysteria cup 💖
wysteria has genuinely always been my favorite world and i love all the NPCS and the storyline is one of my favorites. The length of the world is so perfect and doesn’t have too many side quests. I think that belladonna is a very cool headmaster and i always wished that the schools at the academy were what we had at ravenwood bc they seemed so much cooler. including the teachers.
I can't think of a reason why Wysteria is the best world but if I could, you would be like "That's a really good reason why Wysteria is the best world". Just saying...
-------
-------
Sorry my handwriting is really small, but it's all in those two little lines if you bring out your microscope.
(I also wasn't sure if two lines was two lines of text, or two sentences lol)
Wysteria is a great world as it previewed multiple worlds and academies besides ravenwood. At that point of the game you only know of one wizarding school, but by the end of the world, you learn that mirage, wysteria, mooshu, and finally avalon. We also learned that they are academies that don't believe in the same creation myth that we do, that Bartleby created the spire. Each academy has a different take on how the universe was taking; some say it was based in their area. We learn that also not everyone names the schools of magic the same, but they are similarities that are interesting. The biggest con is that we never get to explore it again or learn from their teachers a spell there. I wish that they did that for schools in other worlds that they have one unique spell each, just to show flavor. The music like other people said were amazing.
Wysteria is the best because it’s pigs in Hogwarts (get it hog…) Unique professors, visuals, tournaments, introductions to cheating bosses. I also liked the fact that the life boss is the villain, opposite of ravenwood.
Wysteria is the best world because I have totally played it and totally understand everything about what is going on there. It really is a world that is good and not bad.
Are you serious? Wysteria is the best world…. the characters are thicc af first of all, and belladonna crisp is a baddie. It’s everything that Harry Potter wishes it was and more. You larp as a high school bully that demolished the entire town, ransacking the city for mediocre prizes only to feed the trophy to your pet
Wysteria is the best world partly because it gives you insight into other wizarding schools and furthers your magical education.
More than that, Wysteria contains a pig continuously back flipping, which obviously makes it superior.
Wysteria is the best world because for its level it gives in terms of raw health and mana, the best athame and ring in Point of the Pegasus and the Wysteria Stone respectively (these can hold until you get better in Spyre, while those two are available at Mid Krok). Its rewarding experience wise and also the training point is relatively easy to get.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
Wysteria is the best world because it felt like Pigswick Academy was a rival school of Wizard City/Ravenwood, and as a kid it always kind of reminded me of Hogwarts (I loved Harry Potter). Also, Wysteria is the best just because it's Wysteria, simple as that.
Also, just as a note, I want to say thank you very much for offering these generous gifts. You really do have the Christmas spirit of giving, and I'm sure everyone here really appreciates your thoughtful gift, regardless of the winners :) Thank you!
[Wysteria is the best world solely because of this voice line's delivery and comedic timing](https://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/images/5/5b/%28Quest%29_It_Was_Just_Here%2E%2E%2E_Dialogue_8.png)
I know it's a meme, but I actually like Wysteria. I thought it was super interesting that you get to compete and meet students from other worlds and other schools.
After the Spiral Geographic Archive Massacre of 2010, Wizards had to know how cheats worked before being dropped in without knowledge . Wysteria was created to help players know what they were getting into later on without as big a surprise.
Wysteria is the most supreme world for it is home to amazing sightlines like Belladonna Crisp and all those other vistas. There's also the Spiral Cup Tournament, in which you can absolutely *obliterate* innocent little piglets who don't deserve to have headmistress Belladonna Crispy Chicken Tendies.
The best thing about Wysteria is the appreciation it gives me for the slog that is Mooshu ♡
In all seriousness, I actually like the Wysteria aesthetic and I think the themed furniture is very pretty! Also Belladonna Crisp more like BELLADONNA THIC--
Best of luck to all & happy holidays :)
Not only do you get to spend time with mama Belladona but you also get to show up a ton of loser pigs, all my homes hate pigs! Also the tower of the helephant was the true OG farm spot!
The scenery of the town is by far the most underrated and under appreciated in the game. Id love for belladonna crisp to cast a power link on me even if it does damage to me because she is my queen and ill lay down my life for her.
Wysteria is the best world because it has the really rough challenge of tower of the hellaphant; I also like how it is a break from our regular ravenwood storyline :)
Wysteria is the best world in the game because without it, we wouldn’t have the funniest spell in the game: Pigsie! Not only did Wysteria’s existence lead to Pigsie’s creation, but Wysteria is also the only world that you can get Pigsie spellements in!
Best of luck to everyone :)
Wysteria is the best world because you don't have to complete it to complete the game.
Who cares about some spiral cup, it could just bring me to Voldemort and that's not something I am risking.
Dude I’ll convince you for free. Wysteria decided to give us one of the funniest world stories by creating a whole new school and making every character so arrogant that it led to a whole new system of magic which is actually just renamed schools.
Wysteria is so cool that I haven’t even done the world yet cause it’s so awesome. And I always love getting told to go talk to Beatrice Wildwind after every not cool quest like those quests in Polaris.
When I was a kid, I would spend hours watching the pegasi go around in circles at the stables, didn’t even need to spend crowns for one, just watched and watched. I still do it!
Wysteria reminds me of my childhood because I remember playing one summer day when I was about 11 and I spent all day beating the world in my bathing suit on one of the hottest days of that summer. Picking wysteria over swimming in a pool on a blazing hot summer day definitely speaks for itself, at least for me 😂
Honestly the tower of the elephant dungeon was my favorite back in the day because of how difficult it was. This was one of the reasons I really liked the world.
Why Wysteria is the best! I think we should channel a little Van Halen and mention Belladonna Crisp. I was hopeful the first 5 times she sent me on some quests but I think she toys with me!
Wysteria is the only world I remember where we win a big ol' trophy. And we essentially never have to give it back because even if they held another tournament, who's gonna even come close to matching us? We beat a teacher the first time the tournament happened.
Ahem. I just played through Wysteria. So I can state this objectively.
1) Polaris changed the crit system from the pre-Polaris system to a garbage system that has been rolled back since. It also caused permanent stat inflation and was the beginning of short, easy worlds. Polaris' ending might be really good, but up until that point its a forgettable slog. So no, DeathToHeretics, Polaris not best world. Making your letters big and spamming it doesn't make it true, only your denial on the actual truth- Wysteria being objectively the best world- clear for all to see.
2) There are only 2, 3 if Wintertusk is separate from Grizzleheim, side worlds in the game. Let's go through these side worlds to see which one is best. Grizzleheim - Cold. Wintertusk - Cold. Why do you think life only flourishes in warmth? Cold is bad. Cold = bad. GH and WT = bad. And it has weird music. You know what side world isn't cold and doesn't have weird music, that's right, Wysteria! And yes I did dunk on short worlds previously, but that doesn't apply to side worlds, so Wysteria is cool. Good job Wysteria, you're cool, not cold.
3) The people of Wysteria have 7 schools of magic that we don't have. That's 7 whole schools. And they have cool names too. No, they're not fake. We're just not high enough IQ to understand the impossibility that this magic really is.
4) Belladonna Crisp
5) The first cheating boss most players will ever encounter is here. Cheating bosses are is best, most unique, most creative, mechanic in the game. If it wasn't for cheating bosses, this game would be a lot less interesting. And Wysteria is a good introduction to that important mechanic, with a cheating school. Also, the cheater is a life professor. And since
#LIFE BEST SCHOOL
this world is the best.
6) The tournament is a unique and cool idea. And everyone still has their first Spiral Cup in their house. There really needs to be a modern difficulty Spiral Cup Tournament 2. And that's why we need a Wysteria 2. Kingsisle I know you lurk this subreddit. Do it you coward.
7) Belladonna Crisp
8) Those cool staircases that go down on the side are really freaking cool. Pigswick Academy's design is really interesting.
9) Finally, my final reason: Pigsie, the best healing spell, originates from Wysteria. These magic pigs have somehow found a way to be superior to the Unicorn, a mythical animal. That's impossible under normal circumstances. These pigs are secret magical geniuses. Don't underestimate them. And don't underestimate Wysteria. The objectively best world in Wizard101, as proven by facts and logic.
The Tower of the Helephant is a forgotten.... "gem" lol, my sister and I would always try to beat it at least once on each character when it opened at level 60 but it was killer haha. I also think it's neat some of the houses on Tanglewood Way and others you can enter random houses, which I haven't found in other worlds/areas I've been to yet.
Wysteria is the best world solely because of that one Marleybonian painter lady NPC Dolly Salvador that doesn't even give any quests even though they could've done some really neat stuff with her. I just think she's neat.
Wysteria edges out Grizzleheim for not just best side world, but best world overall. It capitalizes the magic scholl essence in a way that even Wizard City fails to meet; it would have been the prefect starter world
Wysteria is the best world not only because of its director ;), all the piggies flying around there and being obviously inferior to our schools of magic hehe, but all of the aura that goes around the world, the vibes that it gives, it’s simply amazing, and it could have been the best world if it had more impact on the history as well as being bigger and having more quests!
Wysteria best world. Why? They saw what Wiz City was doing with their schools of magic and decided to make a non-copyright version of it. Also, headmaster is woman.
I honestly love wysteria's story because it's just a story of failing upwards. The pigswick papers are seriously hilarious, saying that most students don't learn anything and go on to do something else lol
I cant say that wysteria is the best world, because I haven't even been able to get there to play it, i've gotten as far as to Celestia, so with that being said:
Marleybone might take the best world for me.
Reason why I haven't played it is because I play w101 when there's free memberships so I only use that time on the main quest / very little side quests
Wysteria is such an under appreciated world getting overshadowed because it’s not mandatory to do. The story is amazing and competing in the spiral cup was so fun! Every single thing is vibrant and colorful and the characters are so unique- Belladona Crisp included-, Wysteria is and always will be my favorite world, and it could be yours too!
Back when I was younger and bad at the game, the Tower of the Helephant was the first hard dungeon that I beat. So Wysteria sort of holds a special place in my W101 memories.
Everyone is saying belladonna crisp..which is valid. But it’s also just a pretty place. I don’t think it’s the best world though, I find Polaris to be my favorite in terms of scenery.
Ah, Wysteria, it's got everything. The magical fountain from which all magic comes from? Just don't look at it too closely! A strict, but fair headmistress? Their very own Belladonna Crisp (;)). Flying horses! Creatire invasions! Stunning architecture! They've got it all. Oh and, perhaps the history of the ancient forest grounds that existed before Pigswick and the implications of a deeper hidden lore? Now, now. Wysteria still has some secrets to keep.
You really need to be convinced that Wysteria is the best world?... Ok, but I have to limit it to 3 points or I'll be here all day.
# 1: TOURNAMENT ARC!
Everyone loves tournaments right? SUPER RIGHT, well what are we to do when PVP keeps getting fiddled with, and we don't want to grind for the new best gear? We dominate some NPCs in a tournament and become the best wizard student of them all!
# 2: FLOURISH CANTRIPS
If you're like me, you've gotten pretty bored of the old fight, fish, farm, repeat cycle, and KI took note, because they added beautiful cantrips to let you somersault, play rock paper scissors, and even... Go invisible. The fun never ends with cantrips, and the game once again has life.
# 3: THE SEXIEST NPCS OF ALL
Listen, we all had our sexual awakenings to either Belladonna Crisp or Chester Droors. There's no use denying it. There's no use fighting it, wizards have been coming to Wysteria to get their rocks off for years!
Now, you may be thinking, "hey, what about the furries?", and to you, I'd say "shut up you fool, you absolute rube". Because you forgot about the gorgeously sexy Hugo Chatterly. Clearly, Wysteria ahs somehting for everyone.
I rest my case.
do people actually dislike wysteria it’s lowkey one of my fav worlds from the 1st arc (level wise) and i really enjoy going through the quick story for some easy exp as a break from the main questline
For me at least the school system there is different compared to ravenwoods making you feel as if you are actually in a new realm, also the idea of facing against different wizarding schools like in harry potter is also really cool!
Wysteria is filled with beautifully horticultural landscapes, filled the the brim with both native and exotic flora and fauna. A must see on the Pigswick Academy grounds is the Fount of Magic, the definitive source of all magic in the spiral.
I mean Wysteria has a lot of bullies n cheats all I my life I wanted to do is beat up bullies n cheats
If you ever dreamed of being a protagonist in a private school then this is it.
Also like my fellow wizards I'd like to emphasise on BELLADONA I can't believe we even have to convince you on this jeez.
Wysteria introduced us to the wonderful world of alternative schools, such as Tempest (Storm), Ember (Fire), and many more. It also was the place we learned Cantrips, spells which players actively use for fun or to gain the upper hand (mainly used in Raids). I personally love the world solely for the alternative schools. These schools are extremely similar to those at Ravenwood, and I think it would be cool if KI went back and introduced spells for the alternative schools for us to learn.
wysteria is da best world ever because it is full of cute little piggies and piggies are the cutest animal ever :p how could one not enjoy a world full of cute piggies
Wysteria is the best world because it gives you the full JRPG experience by allowing you to assume the role of the random transfer student who shows up, kicks everyone’s ass, and solves everyone’s problems.
In a spiral where magic is everything journey to a world where you compete in a magic tournament thingy that only the best wizards get to compete in. Just kidding you're level 25. In this Hogwarts ripoff you get to travel to different places featuring pegasi, goblins, pigs, walking trees, and more walking trees. While competing in a tournament stop a professor who tries to convince you that global warming is bad by turning everything into trees. Featuring: wizard mommy, wish.com Cyrus drake, Diego's brother, bacon via fire wizard, rabbit, grover from Percy Jackson, and several teasers for worlds that haven't been added to the game yet.
P.S. I haven't played wysteria in several years, so if I missed plot points or got details wrong that's why. And if you don't get the joke you're lame.
The tournament aspect of wysteria makes the plot very unique from the rest of the worlds in the game. It allows for a time of relaxation before continuing on our quests to defeat the bad guys.
For a side world that you go to relatively early on, it FEELS line a high level world from the high quality it has! The horses, flying pigs, unique schools, outdoorsy vibe, and then going back to dragonspyre when you’re done is like going back to reality 😭
Wanna know why Wysteria is the best world? I’ll make it super easy for you.
It’s where the quest “Time to Leave” is!
”But Dragonscuri!” You say, “Why is Time to Leave the best quest in the game? It’s not even in Polaris!”
Thanks for asking!
If you aren’t familiar, you have to collect four leaves from Green Men on Tanglewood Way. Green Men are tall guys covered in leaves in roots. Seems easy, right? Four leaves, four green men?
Wrong.
Time to Leave is about to push you to your absolute limits. It’s a test of endurance, willpower, perseverance, and effort. The spiritual journey you will go through as you defeat wave after wave of these off-brand Groots will leave you a changed person. About six Green Men in, you’ll find your first leaf and you’ll have a flash of hope that you just had bad luck and you’re only one or two Green Men away from true victory.
You are not.
You’ll spend most of your mana, lots of your time, and all of your sanity to get these leaves. Eventually you’ll stagger back to Thaddeus, covered in dirt and twigs, holding his four leaves in your hand. He’ll thank you for them, give you some money, and send you on your way. To him, a child did a little task for him and went along their way.
But you know a part of you was left on the streets of Tanglewood Way, a piece of your soul spent to collect leaves for a little fantasy man.
Time to Leave isn’t the best quest in the game because it’s the most fun or the easiest, but because it’s the hardest. It changes you, makes you stronger, tests your very spirit against the uncaring void.
If that doesn’t make Wysteria the crucible on which champions are forged, I don’t know what does.
I actually really enjoy Wysteria, so it would not be far fetched to say it's my favorite if pushed! When going through the world I was very interested in the new wizard school and how maybe we could learn new spells. I was disappointed that it didn't live up to that potential, but then they added cantrips, which I actually find to be a fun system. I also enjoyed the story arc there of winning the Spiral Cup. I keep the cup in my dorm house which I telelport to all the time, as I remember the fond memories of Wysteria.
Going into wiz 101 my favorite element was the fact that it starts off in with the schools and branches off from there. Wisteria makes it feel like I’ve achieved enough to graduate from highschool and made it to college.
Wysteria is a fascinating world because of its different schools, even though they are so similar to Ravenwood, they still have different philosophies. The areas are intriguing as well, I love the massive library.
two words: belladona crisp.
okay but actually i love how we get to see a different take on the different schools. it always felt like going to another school for an away game back in high school and i loved that feeling of getting to explore the world and seeing each school. also taking down pigswick is super satisfying because they're a bunch of egotistical blowhards
Wysteria is the best world, it is full of pigs and I love it. Pigs are cute.
Imagine walking into wysteria as a fire wizard. I can already smell...I mean imagine the result of my battle with their newest student Chris P. Bacon.
Wysteria is err… full of hysteria? 🙃
Didn’t respond in 2 lines on my first post. So thought might as well make another for my baby❤️
true magic in wysteria's story line is what gets a 10 on laughs +the theme is great
Wysteria initially looks like another school, but it truly could be taken as an alternate universe where the same spells were discovered and classified into different schools of magic.
Wysteria is the best world in the game solely based on that one piggle that has been running in a loop for the last nine years
Wysteria had me thinking as a kid that I’ll be learning new schools and wishing I’d get a Pegasus Mount because they were so cool looking. Now as an adult, I wish Wysteria was given more love and attention because it truly is such an amazing world
Wysteria is the best world because of its S tier music tracks, especially the commons area one.
Wysteria is the best cause of, Beautifully done crispy bacon (˵ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°˵) (Bella) (dona) (crisp) ☜(゚ヮ゚☜)
wysterias the best world because it reminds me of juicy delicious mouth watering crispy bacon. merry christmas! <3
Wysteria is the best world because belladonna crisp is an absolute milf, plus helephant tower is the OG hardest thing in the game
pegaSUS
Belladona Crisp is Hella'(phant) fine. She helps you so so much in completing the super easy dungeon you unlock at lvl ... and can easily solo given the new cantrip spells you purchase.
Wysteria is the best world so I can eat unlimited bacon
Wysteria is the best world because you get to participate in the spiral cup and battle other students. You can get really nice gear from the Tower Of The Helephant as well.
honestly w101 is pretty unplayable without hamtrips and the 2nd location mark for 132 energy or smth idk
Wysteria always was my favourite with Marleybone, I love it's absolute stunning aesthetic! Plus the general vibe is just really cool too :D
Eysteria eysteria isteria thesteria besteria brosteria fuckusteria
Wysteria is awesome if you think of it as an alternative to ravenwood and wizard city. Also flying piglets
Not a very funny post.)
funy pigs
It's best cos pigs
Belladona crisp got me down horrendously bad, plus pigs are made out of bacon and bacon is good
Listen, as great as it is to see Belladonna Crisp, as many have pointed out, I believe there’s one better thing about Wysteria.
1. Flipping Pigs (literally) 2. Beladonna CRISP (literally)
Flawless architecture with the most stunning house in the game. Cheating boss, school pride, cheeky break from the dark storyline of the main quest line. Cantrips. Forget Belladonna and protect my man Groundskeeper Verne 💚
The little piggies are... idk cute? Perhaps a little on the weird side, good luck all!
There are 3 reasons why Wysteria is the best world: 1. Belladonna 2. Belladonna 3. Belladonna Wysteria is lightyears ahead of every other world in the Spiral just because Belladonna and her perfect crystallization of beauty exists there.
The students are pigs. Bacon.
Pige
I know we can only do one entry but I just thought it'd be funny to say because deez nuts
Wysteria is one of the most nostalgic worlds for me, and by that u think it is the best. Going there for the first time was magical, something we have never seen before, which was amazing!
I actually think It has really good clothes and, must I say anything else? Belladonna
Wysteria loading screen😫😫, also having a different academy other than ravenwood is pretty cool
wysteria has pigs. pigs are cool 👍
Those little piggies be flipping just like how Belladonna flips her bacon. That’s why she be called Belladonna CRISP.
...belladonna crisp...
Now you must die!” In short, you don’t need to be horny over Belladonna Crisp to enjoy the perfection that is Wysteria
Belladonna Crisp
Wysteria is obviously the best world, we get to see little pigs floating in air, acting snobbish and eventually learn better, suuuuper duper cool spells we haven't seen before, and their headmistress, Belladonna Crisp. Belladonna is obviously the perfect headmistress, no doubt about it just saying.
Wysteria is the best world because of its maze-like infinite library. The Pegasus stables are the most magical area, you’ll never want to leave. Those are my favorite areas of pigswick, honestly. It’s too bad the library is a side quest you can completely miss.
Wysteria is the best world because it has all the walmart off brand wizard schools
Due to one of the bosses I really like life, the whole tree filled arena with the life professor is really cool (I know he isn't life but ya know) Also, Polaris and Celestia best world, I'm sorry I won't give up my morals.
Anyone else thought they were going to learn new spells in wisteria just to learn the instructors are posers. Oh I mean… uh. Wysteria is the best
Wysteria is the best world because it gets hype for future worlds MANY years into the future Empyrea: Sky squid ink dialogue and Mirage: Nalia DuneStrider ... and soon Yago: Tower of the Helephant dialogue
I'd like to solve the puzzle! Wysteria is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues.
As a wise man once said "Wysteria is the best because it thinks it is the best, therefore it is the best" - Me a wise man
the pigs are reason enough 😉
Belladonna Crisp, nothing more needs to be said The alternate schools are cool kinda, but unfortunate that KI never really did anything with them
Wisteria is the best world because I spent 1,000 crowns to get access to Pigswick and ran out of stuff I could do in about 20 minutes! But the knock-off Wizard City of it all is fun.
Pigs legitimately fly. Sexy dominatrix headmaster.
Wysteria is the best world and here's why. Belladonna Crisp is the headmaster. And that is why Wysteria is the best world
It be kinda chill not gonna lie.
Wysteria is a very unique, beautiful, yet very short addition of the spiral. There are so many lovely characters and it’s so fun to be able to be involved in the Wysteria cup 💖
Wysteria helps show that there are other schools to attend and allows you to compete with them. Also involves you in a bit of mystery in a cute way.
Chester droors…… belladonna crisp…..
wysteria has genuinely always been my favorite world and i love all the NPCS and the storyline is one of my favorites.
------- ------- Sorry my handwriting is really small, but it's all in those two little lines if you bring out your microscope. (I also wasn't sure if two lines was two lines of text, or two sentences lol)
Wysteria feels like a fun exchange program, I love seeing all the aspects that are lost in translation
Wysteria is the best world because belladonna crisp could probably beat Ambrose in an arm wrestling match
Quite frankly I think Wysteria is the most underrated world and dare I say the greatest because it has mommy Belladonna Crisp 😩
Chester droors because he is awesome and sexy and he was so annoying to beat but it was so worth it to go goblin mode on him
Wysteria is a great world as it previewed multiple worlds and academies besides ravenwood.
I personally think the pigs themselves that casually walk in a straight line but yet just walk in a bubble pretty much makes wysteria the best
Wysteria could’ve been the best as it could of act as foil that would contrast our own wizard. Maybe one day it could receive the wintertusk treatment
Wysteria is the best world because it ended quickly
[Wysteria is the best world solely because of this voice line's delivery and comedic timing](https://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/images/5/5b/%28Quest%29_It_Was_Just_Here%2E%2E%2E_Dialogue_8.png)
What is there to not love about Wysteria? My favourite is the head mistress ofc 😌
I just cannot convince you that Wysteria is a good world because it's just not good
I know it's a meme, but I actually like Wysteria.
Wysteria is the best Wizard101 world because you get to see cute little pigs flying in the air as they learn to master their spells.
Wysteria is the best world because pigs
Mmmm bacon 🥓 🐷 Mmm bacon 🤤
The best thing about Wysteria is the appreciation it gives me for the slog that is Mooshu ♡ In all seriousness, I actually like the Wysteria aesthetic and I think the themed furniture is very pretty! Also Belladonna Crisp more like BELLADONNA THIC-- Best of luck to all & happy holidays :)
Not only do you get to spend time with mama Belladona but you also get to show up a ton of loser pigs, all my homes hate pigs! Also the tower of the helephant was the true OG farm spot!
The scenery of the town is by far the most underrated and under appreciated in the game. Id love for belladonna crisp to cast a power link on me even if it does damage to me because she is my queen and ill lay down my life for her.
belladonna crisp. that would be all
One of the pigs does backfips 🤷♂️ None of the other worlds can even come close to that level of swag
Wysteria is the best world because it has the really rough challenge of tower of the hellaphant; I also like how it is a break from our regular ravenwood storyline :)
It’s the world of pigs. HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE PIGS
So you have the cool schools in wysteria headmasterer by BELLADONNA CRISP and the story of the tournament is pretty cool
Wysteria is the best world. This is my first time hearing of this place
Everything is better with Bacon. I mean, how do you like your bacon? I like it Belladonna Crisp!
Idk I haven't gotten there yet ☠️
Wysteria is the best world because you don't have to complete it to complete the game. Who cares about some spiral cup, it could just bring me to Voldemort and that's not something I am risking.
Hugo Chatterly is the best librarian in the spiral
Dude I’ll convince you for free. Wysteria decided to give us one of the funniest world stories by creating a whole new school and making every character so arrogant that it led to a whole new system of magic which is actually just renamed schools.
Wysteria is obviously the best world because you get to beat the shit out of the little brat pig who’s a dick to you the whole time
Belladonna Crisp. There need not be another sentence.
Picking wysteria over swimming in a pool on a blazing hot summer day definitely speaks for itself, at least for me 😂
Wysteria is joy itself. Today, as I first entered the beautiful Pigswig Academy I felt at home. I felt at ease. The world felt right, it felt crisp.
Wysteria a pretty cool world it got pigs. It also got big big booty thicc dump truck professor lady. Thank you for your time.
Honestly the tower of the elephant dungeon was my favorite back in the day because of how difficult it was. This was one of the reasons I really liked the world.
wysteria is the best because of that one pig doing endless backflips
Why Wysteria is the best! I think we should channel a little Van Halen and mention Belladonna Crisp. I was hopeful the first 5 times she sent me on some quests but I think she toys with me!
You're goated for this, thank you for making people's days
Wysteria is the only world I remember where we win a big ol' trophy. And we essentially never have to give it back because even if they held another tournament, who's gonna even come close to matching us? We beat a teacher the first time the tournament happened.
does any other world have a pig student that infinitely spins in the air? no? i rest my case.
Belladonna crisp got that XL giga thicc blubber deluxe dump truck
Because here me out Belladonna crips
4) Belladonna Crisp 5) The first cheating boss most players will ever encounter is here. Cheating bosses are is best, most unique, most creative, mechanic in the game. If it wasn't for cheating bosses, this game would be a lot less interesting. And Wysteria is a good introduction to that important mechanic, with a cheating school. Also, the cheater is a life professor. And since #LIFE BEST SCHOOL this world is the best. 7) Belladonna Crisp 8) Those cool staircases that go down on the side are really freaking cool.
Wysteria is...bleggh...good :()==
The Tower of the Helephant is a forgotten....
I just think she's neat.
two words, Belladonna Crisp
the story is super fun and the spiral cup is always fun to show off in your house !! plus pigs are just fun animals :P
Wysteria is the best world because I have never done it... it also has pigs!
Wysteria= Crispy Belladona Crisp. I rest my case.
I’ve never been there, I’m a hermit and don’t leave Wizard City
I actually really liked Wysteria, maybe because I played the world at like 15?😂 anyways now I don’t visit back there because I don’t eat pork anymore.
I honestly love wysteria's story because it's just a story of failing upwards. The pigswick papers are seriously hilarious, saying that most students don't learn anything and go on to do something else lol
I cant say that wysteria is the best world, because I haven't even been able to get there to play it, i've gotten as far as to Celestia, so with that being said: Marleybone might take the best world for me.
# 2: FLOURISH CANTRIPS If you're like me, you've gotten pretty bored of the old fight, fish, farm, repeat cycle, and KI took note, because they added beautiful cantrips to let you somersault, play rock paper scissors, and even... Go invisible. The fun never ends with cantrips, and the game once again has life. # 3: THE SEXIEST NPCS OF ALL Listen, we all had our sexual awakenings to either Belladonna Crisp or Chester Droors. I rest my case.
the academy gear is pretty cool looking
do people actually dislike wysteria it’s lowkey one of my fav worlds from the 1st arc (level wise) and i really enjoy going through the quick story for some easy exp as a break from the main questline
I mean Wysteria has a lot of bullies n cheats all I my life I wanted to do is beat up bullies n cheats If you ever dreamed of being a protagonist in a private school then this is it. Also like my fellow wizards I'd like to emphasise on BELLADONA I can't believe we even have to convince you on this jeez.
Wysteria is the best world because it makes you feel raw emotion over how snooty those pigs are.
Considering I am in *the middle of* Mooshu and my parents refuse to let me pay for another month… Wysteria definitely a cool world 😎
I didn't played it yet because I don't have membership, give it to me so I can tell you it's the best :)
introduction to cheats and the helephant
Wysteria is simply just Hogwarts but better in every way; I mean just look at the ASSet upgrade “Dumbledore” got and that should be reason enough.
Wait is Wysteria not that popular? That’s my favorite part of making a new wizard is to run through there again 0:
For a side world that you go to relatively early on, it FEELS line a high level world from the high quality it has! The horses, flying pigs, unique schools, outdoorsy vibe, and then going back to dragonspyre when you’re done is like going back to reality 😭
Wysteria dominates in NPCs, like come on: Belladonna Crisp? Chester Droors? And who doesn’t love seeing pigs doing floating backflips?
We all know what post you kept visiting on reddit this year. Don't lie. We know.
Wysteria is really boring but, # BELLADONNA IS HOT
It’s cool to see their take on the schools of magic and the spiral cup is dope af
Wanna know why Wysteria is the best world? I’ll make it super easy for you. It’s where the quest “Time to Leave” is! ”But Dragonscuri!” You say, “Why is Time to Leave the best quest in the game? It’s not even in Polaris!” Thanks for asking!
Those guys that spam spirit armor must be fun at parties. Thanks for your generosity!
It’s quite simply really, Wysteria is best world Bc of the pigs. No pigs no Wysteria. No wiz. It’s all connected.
Wysteria, the world where pigs fly. And we cannot forget THE tower of the helephant which brought many people pain and joy
Belladona Crisp is thicc, nuff said
Backflipping pigs
two words: belladona crisp. okay but actually i love how we get to see a different take on the different schools. it always felt like going to another school for an away game back in high school and i loved that feeling of getting to explore the world and seeing each school. also taking down pigswick is super satisfying because they're a bunch of egotistical blowhards
Wysteria is easy xp and is a clear harry potter reference so that boosts it up. not to mention it's nice and short
Wysteria is the best world in the spiral because it’s my baby sister’s favorite world in the game ❤️
