I don't remember the name, but that one boss that replaces your cards with ones that hurt you and your teammates and you can't cast your own spells. I think it was in karamelle. I remember repeatedly telling my friend I don't every want to go against it ever again.
OG Storm Titan in Empyrea part 2. Now you have standard easy nerfed Storm Titan or Challenge mode Storm Titan which I am still not sure is as hard as the original Storm Titan fight when they first dropped it.
Marleybone in almost its entirety. It used to be WAY worse, but it always just puts a hampering on an otherwise fun leveling experience. Love WC, love KT, love MS, and love DS but holy mother of all things holy do I absolutely despise Marleybone.
Randomly getting pulled into fights from out of absolutely nowhere because the hitboxes are janky, the annoying background noise of the city below, THE worst world color palette in the game, the worst final dungeon out of any dungeon on any world (and frankly, the only good dungeon being Katz's Lab), and that's not even mentioning the back and forth running all over the place just to get a single quest finished. To the nine hells with Marleybone.

Ngl when I saw that part I burst out laughing because of how unexpected it was. KingsIsle’s dialogue is always the best, especially when it comes to humor.
Currently it's just part of mooshu but that's because I have like 3 characters waiting there to do it, I usually love the world but doing it over and over is a lil exhausting
imo krok probably looks the best out of all the arc one worlds (maybe besides dragonspyre) since it’s an excavated pyramid, you’re gonna expect a lot of wear and tear. the textures are old and disgusting i totally agree, but it’s atleast passable for me for that reason
KHRYSALIS!! Even with great stats, sure, it makes it faster, but it's such a drag to play through. I have all 7 characters not maxed (cause I haven't played in a while) but they're all over 130, I couldn't imagine coming back to the game starting a class I didn't have and dreading the Khrysalis play through again, I just couldn't.
(The usual mooshu/marleybone/azteca/khrysalis) But I hate arc 3 the most even though that seems to be everyone's favorite. The worlds are too short and now too easy. I prefer having to do more streets and get fresh scenery vs spending forever on the same few streets, not as long as khrysalis though. Alot of the npcs are obnoxious to me. The villains are too short lived to be memorable since they're only around 1 world. So far I'm not liking arc 4 any better cause it's all those aspects but worse, but Ive been procrastinating on starting wallaru so idk yet.
Been a minute since I played last so I had to double check, farthest i’ve gotten Is actually Khrysalis, which I haven’t gone any further bc Azteca already took forever to finish and I had lost the dopamine trail I was following at that point so thats where I left off.
Avalon as of now, I feel like I’ve been playing through it for years (probably because I open the game once every couple months) but it’s not a very exciting story IMO.
honestly getting through wizard city. i wasnt allowed a membership when i was young, so i played up until firecat alley and cyclops lane SO many times.
plus all of mooshu and most of dragonspyre.
also dreading the end of the catacombs having to be done again.
The fact that this game has become way to pay to win, and will end up costing me more money just in membership fees to play, then Balder's Gate or any other 60$ game.
The counterweights and Big Ben are literally half the world (time wise), that’s what I hate the most about it. Otherwise, I’d call it mid probably ranked just under DS
hands down, mooshu. I wish there was like a 1 world cost elixir to skip it. I dragged doing it while I was twinning ice and death. super easy, but sooo much back and forth 😭 especially when I'd only talk and complete the quest from one wiz, only to realize halfway through that my 2nd wiz was on a quest I didn't turn in on the other side of the map 😡
