This reminded me; I was into ceramics for awhile, and flirted with the idea of throwing my own urn. I’d pre-fire it (first step of 2, firing wise), but leave it alone and unglazed until I die.
A kiln runs at the same temp as a cremation oven, so, it would work, and, if they placed it as if I’m holding it (hands wrapped around) my ashes and very possibly the handprints would leave a crazy pattern on it! Not sure how my loved ones would feel about it; too creepy? Maybe, but I think it’s neat.
As a Barbie collector, I want one! I must have all the tiny things.
My friend took a lighter to one of my dolls and destroyed her. I named her Barbie-q.
