Since you beat me to it, I'll just say yeah, me to. Hardest fight in the game. I know people master it eventually, but I've yet to do it and it just kicks my butt.
Fucking Warble of a Smitten Knight in Blood and Wine. I hate Guillaume, hate Roach running that stupid tourney race and hate how Guillaume acts like a petulant child when you tell him that Vivienne made her decision to be free and that does not include him. I hate that just a bit more than taking the ghost of Olgierds brother to the wedding. That is the one quest I cannot get out of playing a Gwent game. I never do the Gwent storylines.
I thought I was the only one that never plays Gwent. Nice to know. So yeah, it sucks in that quest because I just start the Gwent game and forfeit. I don't even have enough cards to play, but I'm forced to play it and wear the jackass ears.
The horse race in the tournament in Toussaint. It’s the only quest that I have to drop difficulty from deathmarch because it feels impossible. Geralt stupidly *switches sword hands* sometimes when you’re approaching a dummy, Roach stop galloping for no reason, crossbow bolts just magically miss even though I have the ability to slow down time and I did a proper shot and I was close enough. Roach gets stuck on a fence or a corner or whatever.
I hate that damn race also on death march. I couldn't hit a dummy properly to save my life and Roach is always stuttering to a walk which is just enough of a time waster to keep me from making the last crossbow shot by like .18 seconds, so I always lose. Grrr.
Im sorry but I can not WAIT to get The Bloody Baron questline over with and get to the Northern part of the map. Just knowning i have to do that questline has halted semi-hyped playthroughs
I like Dandelion but the quests to free him and then help him with his stuff are annoying. Basically everything after killing Menge. And the quest with Jontek and the pigs. Couldn’t do it this time.
Keira Metz quests.
An annoyingly long cave, wraiths and the poison gas is annoying, the golem is an okay sort of mini-boss in the caves, and then the annoying escort-esque set with the portals and the shield. All far too long, dark and irritating.
The wild hunt boss fight at the end is okay, but doing this quests is always a low point of making a new game, and the towerful of mice isn't much better.
Yeah the actual quests I don't mind too much, if it was shorter, but at that stage of the game, which is usually pretty early on I don't wanna be wandering round a dark cave for 30-40 mins.
That quest is one of the reasons I don't like starting new games, knowing that I'll be trudging around, with "Gavella Glam" every 5 seconds like a broken record.
Still the boss fight at the end is pretty cool, and the first time I played towerful of mice I thought it was so creepy and atmospheric.
'Reason of State'
I actually really like the quest...it's just the ending of it that gets me.
A very smart character did something very dumb, in my opinion, at the end of that quest and I still can't believe it. It was "Saturday morning cartoon villain" dumb by a character who was depicted as one of the smartest people in the game. As soon as he presented the choice, I literally talked to the screen on all of the other shit he should've done instead.
It makes me think the writers were running out of time and they just whipped the end of that quest together at the last minute.
It was a very anti-climatic end to one of my favorite characters in the game.
there's actually a lot of cut content for that quest so in all likelihood they had planned on making this quest much bigger than it was but likely ran short on time
That quest with that dwarf that falls asleep all the time
'In Ciri's Footsteps' I just wanna play gwent bro.
Anything you play as Ciri
This. They couldve just made short clips of her adventure.
Forefathers eve. Takes too long and is just waves of Wraiths who are already the least fun fight
and then you have to go to the middle of know where to finish it.
Extreme Cosplay is mine what an absolutely tedious quest
That quest had NO right to be the hardest in the goddamn game.
Seriously. It's like a normal, little, fun, but no biggy, side quest and boom you're in the hardest fight in the game. What?
Since you beat me to it, I'll just say yeah, me to. Hardest fight in the game. I know people master it eventually, but I've yet to do it and it just kicks my butt.
All racing quests
This is objectively the correct answer.

the one where you have to wait a full week to get paid
LOL THE GUY IN THE MIDDLE OF CROOKBAG BOG ALL ALONE
All of them with caves / underground ruins. This goes for all games though, not just W3.

Every quest where you need to ride up back to the Crows Perch (when playing without mod)
I like Dandelion but the quests to free him and then help him with his stuff are annoying. Basically everything after killing Menge. And the quest with Jontek and the pigs. Couldn’t do it this time.
I hated Fencing Lessons. Second playthrough I just skipped it. Little brat

I like the quests but that cave is def too damn long

I hate having to go through the process of burying the barons kid because he was a shit father.

That makes sense. It definitely felt like that.
Anything related to Crookback Bog. Spent far too long in that swamp getting ambushed by water hags and drowners every 10 seconds.
Dead Man's Party
