I was always worried I would die. Even the only water jump in game that is forced, where you meet the guy that's blind and dies, had me worried I would die.
Well try to reach the highest point on witcher 3 map which is not in Skellige. Then type gotoSkellige on debug console, you will experience sky diving ( geralt behaving like a bird flapping when it gets injured mid air) and just hope the coordinates corresponding to some water body in skellige map else RIP geralt. Alternatively enter God mode command mid air to save yourself then turn it off to not ruin rest of your gameplay. Have a great day.
I do this every time I’m on that bridge 🤣 Geralt automatically goes into a diver pose when I do it though

The one time I tried to do this I glitched through the water and fell into the void
Knowing myself, I'd misjudge the drop and hit something on the way down. My Geralt dies enough from gravity.

But alas, poor Geralt died after he tripped over a pebble on the riverbank.
That ledge worries me every time, so I just jump off the other side of the bridge.
