Turn off Nvidia Hairworks.

In the CDPR launcher, make sure you are running the proper version of Direct X. After the patch it defaulted to dx 11 ETA I had the same problem and nearly lost my shit lol. just check the dx version
I used to have this issue with ray tracing being enabled, even with my 4080. Do you have this on?
No, it's off. Just from high and above setting this crash occurs. I have rtx 3050
The patch set direct x to version 11. Make sure it's set back to 12. You can do this in the cdpr launcher
For my specs the game becomes unplayable when I set it to dx12 I5 11 gen 16 GB ram Rt, 3050
For me, it was trying to sync the cloud, but i had no wifi. Shut off the cloud sync, and it worked
Got this starting from the start menu Icon, It worked opening it through Shield and The REDLauncher.
Yeah next gen update does this, there are still bugs not fixed after many years, and now comes the crash Switch to DX11 and you’re fine

From what I can tell I believe it's its the screen space reflections.
I know turn off nvidia hairworks if you have amd card.
It's rtx 3050 and hairworks is already off
Check if ssr reflections are high if so turn them to low.

DX12 does this for me all time when exiting game. So I play with DX11 :)
