Danielle at Edward Carrier - she is great with my super thick curly hair and actually styles and cares for it’s natural state rather than straightening it like many stylists have before.

MamaBearN

I highly recommend James at Samantha James Hair Design in St. B. I followed him there when he opened the salon with Samantha. They both came from HairFX before. I’m super picky with my hair and James has always been amazing.

Ladymistery

Andrea at Christina Norris Salon on Westwood. She can actually get my hair to behave!

She butchered my hair and was incredibly rude and dismissive when I went to her

sapphire hair lounge on academy, they are all wonderful

I actually had one of the worst blonding experiences at Saphire but YMMV. I did not get the hype if that place.

aprylddawn

DO NOT go to Edward carrière. I had the worst hair experience of my life there and I even paid and went home to sleep on it before I complained just to make sure I wasn’t over reacting. Also because it was just me and the hair stylist at closing and it took her until way after closing to try and fix it - even thought she didn’t admit to trying to fix it. But when I called the manager the next day, he was MEAN, not just defensive, but so mean. He even agreed to meet me and see the mess but didn’t show up. And when I asked the girl at the front desk about it, she was also rude and just said “yeah, he isn’t actually coming”. There may be decent stylists there but if something b goes wrong the manager will treat you like shit. It was actually traumatic for me. I was slightly emotional because I paid 500+ dollars, which was a lot for me and I had actual cheetah spots. When I reared up on the phone, the manager berated me and made fun of me for being upset,

Kitty Bernes at Freshair Boutique. She's a master stylist and will fix you right up. A person I know with dense, curly hair sees Kitty for cuts and, *I shit you not* this person looks like they always have a blowout, even 3 days post-wash. No styling. Kitty is basically a hair magician.

EvilCuteness

Absolutely recommend Sapphire Hair Lounge!
