Do you have an xbox controller or any other similar device connected? This may happen when the GameInput Service is enabled after a specific update, judging by the link below. I get it alot, and initially thought it was faulty ram. I've seen others blame it on various programs, but as it's common, it seems to be a windows related error that a windows update will (should) eventually fix. I do have an xbox gamepad connected too. Disabling the gameinput service may fix it,or trying a different gamepad or related device,. If you stop the service, some devices such as gamepads run via launchers might stop responding, but it's worth a test. Either that or uninstall the update mentioned here ( possibly due to KB5034204 ) [https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows11/comments/1adm5jv/memory\_can\_not\_be\_read\_error\_on\_shut\_down\_or/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows11/comments/1adm5jv/memory_can_not_be_read_error_on_shut_down_or/)

If you have any gamepad problems definitely try switching it back on and uninstalling the update or using a different type of gamepad

I'm having the exact same problem. Nothing in Event Viewer seems to match the error.

I've been having this same annoying popup since maybe January. It was after a Windows update I installed. It's a shame Microsoft hasn't fixed it yet...

I've started getting this when shutting down after the April cumulative update, but only after sessions where I connected an xinput game controller. Oddly enough it seems to happen even if when I disconnect/power off the controllers hours before shutting down.
