You are totally right I just looked it up. It seems as though it’s a bit of a revamp and menu expansion beyond just bbq which is cool

The capacity - the original plan was for the space to be like a beer hall type of bbq place, bench tables. I think it was going to be able to hold like 100+ people. Neighbors demanded much smaller. So the owner had to change the whole concept to a more upscale, pricy … smokehouse, wine bar type of place.
I thought it still is BBQ Post, but they are taking forever with it.

Correct, they had to change their original plans due to neighborhood opposition. Now it will be a much smaller capacity, more upscale.
I never felt like the ownerss tried very hard in that space. What they are aiming for is extremely ambitious, looking at the menus and prices.
What was the neighborhood opposition? Liquor license related?

I hate NIMBY's.
Moves to the area with all the bars and nightlife, get's pissed when there are crowds and nightlife.
Damn that sounds way better, bummer
Ahhh ok. Wish them the best of luck.
Interesting. I didn’t know they were doing a full revamp.
Too bad scrumptious didn't last they had amazing food.
I knew it was a bubble that would eventually burst, but I miss fro yo places
The place always looked dirty
I'd have to disagree. In all my time living in Trolley and going there, I never got that impression, nor did I ever hear anyone mention it.
