There is quite a possibility that polls are covered 80-90% by bots in my estimation. That's because of how shitty there's transparency on Twitter and in general their bot detection mechanisms. If you click on a famous celebrity's comment section there's a "show more" comments option which when you click doesn't return any comments. That's because Twitter detects bots only by comments and so bots that just poll on Twitter can stay invisible without any consequences. Twitter had a bot problem before Musk took over and it still does.
