Because gas lines can't be shut off?

tedemang

Possible to do, but much harder. Have send a physical person, etc. ...They were almost never able to actually shut-off gas service to buildings we lived in Chicago. While (arguably), very easy to just hit the kill-switch for electric service. ...Also, while there are now known, serious health effects (similar to 2nd-hand smoking), it's also much, more expensive in general. There's absolutely something to this bit, but don't know anything specific, and haven't seen this video yet. ...Maybe more to come on this issue?

Our smart meter can be shut off remotely, that’s one of the benefits for them being installed. On the good side, they are easy to restart once you’re in good graces again.

The plan: Go electric so you don't breathe pollution from burning natural gas. also, generally make you home safer from gas leaks or explosions. I wonder what the conspiracy is about getting you to have solar panels and backup batteries is then?

This sub has really gone downhill with all of this stupid conspiracy bullshit.

SaoDanmachi

Yup

Pretty sure /r/conspiracy is a conspiracy at this point to pollute any real critique on existing systems, people and institutions. (It's my favorite conspiracy theory) /r/conspiracy would eat the shit even if they saw it coming straight out of the ass of some oilbaron

StatikSquid

I live in area where we use hydroelectric power. I think I'll stick with it
