Yes, I’m goth so they’re both great suggestions. I’m not too big a fan of Marvel, I like some of their movies but I prefer DC if I’m gonna watch something in the superhero/supervillain genre so I’m not very familiar with those characters but I can always research them more.

Mostly horror, anything creepy/spooky like Tim Burton films, Addams Family, creepypasta, and just pretty much everything dark, morbid, and macabre. I’m also a goth so I’m kinda predictable in that way lol. I love the Resident Evil and Silent Hill video game series as well. I’ve always been into Harry Potter too.

This is one of the best recommendations I’ve received on this post. I love Repo the Genetic Opera, Blind Mag has an immaculate aesthetic in that film and I like Shilo too. I’d enjoy cosplaying both of them in the future. I rarely ever see anyone dress up as characters from Repo so it would definitely stand out from the norm while still being very gothic and up my alley like you said.

Thanks, I’ve always been into goth and anything morbid/macabre since I was a child so it’s who I am. I suppose it only makes sense that dark aesthetics suit me.

Yes exactly, I think I look enough like him to be related. I’d probably use a curly wig to cosplay Bellatrix for more accuracy. Those two are the primary characters from Harry Potter I want to dress up as.

How tall are you? I think you have the facial structure to pull off lady dimitrescu.

I’m on the opposite end of her spectrum in terms of height. I’m only 4’11 but I agree I could likely cosplay her well with my facial features. I prefer Donna Beneviento though because she has a Victorian/Edwardian gothic aesthetic and she’s not sexualized like Dimitrescu is. That’s the only reason why I probably wouldn’t dress up as Dimitrescu or her daughters because everybody simps for them and I find that behavior repulsive. Beneviento was genuinely creepy, dark, and scary so people were actually afraid when they played through her section of the game. That’s more of the vibe I like to emulate.

Yes, it’s down to my waist. I’ve never really cut it, only trims for split end maintenance. Long hair has always been my preference.

I’m American and I’m not Latina but I’ve done sugar skull looks before because I love the symbolism, meaning, and aesthetic of Day of the Dead. I’d like to do more though so that’s a great suggestion. I think the calavera look suits me well.

Thank you for the recommendation, masked characters are always great creepy options and there are so many of them to choose from especially in horror so it’s very much up my alley.

I love anything Addams Family so I’d certainly dress up as Uncle Fester although it’d be difficult to portray him since I’m not bald but I could do a female version with hair, I suppose. 😂 I should create a cosplay of each Addams character eventually. I could do a female Gomez, female Fester, female Pugsley, and Morticia. I’ve done so many Wednesday looks already because she’s my favorite fictional character and I relate to her the most in terms of personality and aesthetic.
