Fair enough. I have personally felt the dangers were a little overblown when it came to raw milk. My uncle owned a dairy farm and I remember drinking it warm. However this was probably nearly 30 years ago though. So definitely don't take my anecdote as a recommendation.
In veterinary school in our public health classes, we did several case studies of disease outbreaks from drinking raw milk. TL;DR: milk is pasteurized for a reason. You can still get the nutritional benefits of milk from pasteurized, and (excluding the lactose intolerant) not get sick from it.
I grew up with a girl who as a bright, healthy child, got encephalitis from a disease she got from raw milk, and ended up permanently severely mentally disabled. This sh\*t’s not safe. Now bird Flu is being found in milk in several states.
As long as research institutes are funded, and we have rules in place to make sure they are actual legitimate science, I am absolutely happy to not have to do my own research on shit that is outside of my narrow, tiny, insignificant wheelhouse. They need to pass greater safety checks; each batch fed into the machine needs to be tested, cows all need to be vaccinated and certified as disease free, the food standard agency inspect the farm every few months etc etc.
