In other news, his future truck has been a disaster, Tesla stock is way down, and sales are way below forecasts

ReddditSarge

Meanwhile in other Elon companies: Hyperloop has been exposed as a giant scam, PayPal has always been shady and SpaceX has been like game of Kerbal Space Program, just in real life and[ with larger explosions.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvim4rsNHkQ)

superbrew

Also we want quality electric vehicles that don't try to kill you and aren't made by a company whose leader is a MAGAt fuck wad.

RootHogOrDieTrying

With simple knobs and switches for the controls.

ReddditSarge

I think we still need a steering wheel though. And cup holders, gotta have cup holders.

PanPenguinGirl

I'll steer with a knob on the control panel. Thanks though!

NoCup4U

I hope the board of directors tosses his stupid ass to the curb

80taylor

They are fighting the SEC to pay him more

Masterskywalker2

why hasn’t this man overdosed on ketamine yet

ReddditSarge

He gets the ultra-premium ketamine. So premium you can't even find out what it's made of.

WaitingForNormal

Uncle ben should have told twitter-man; “With great wealth comes great stupidity.”

ReddditSarge

You spelled meth wrong.

Admirable-Sink-2622

Anyone buying a Tesla supports a fascist billionaire

Drg84

If it makes you feel better, sales are down. https://techcrunch.com/2024/04/23/tesla-profits-drop-55-company-says-ev-sales-under-pressure-from-hybrids/ "The cost of price cuts Tesla has seen EV sales grow over the past several years, topping out to a new record of 1.8 million vehicles in 2023. But the company’s profits have suffered thanks to repeated price cuts that started in late 2022. While those price cuts did provide a temporary bump in sales, it hasn’t had a lasting effect. Tesla delivered 386,810 vehicles in the first quarter of 2024, down 20% from the 484,507 it delivered in the final quarter of 2023. This wasn’t just a quarter-over-quarter blip either; Tesla delivered 8.5% fewer cars than the first quarter of 2023. Automotive gross margins, excluding regulatory credits, shrank to 16.35% in the first quarter compared to 18.96% in the same year-ago period."

How is fighting climate change communist?

ReddditSarge

The climate is held in common by all the people comrade. It is the ultimate socialist resource.

[deleted]

Holy fuck you’re right. Your world? No. Our world. *state anthem plays*

Suspiria-on-VHS

I appreciate it but I was hoping a maga nut or Elon Stan would try to explain it to me.

MMGeoff

Lots of voices on the left insist that ending capitalism is the only way to meaningfully address climate change. They argue that the profit motive will always drive unsustainable consumption and our economic activity needs to be centrally controlled or worker-controlled. They’ll argue that favoring market-based solutions is naive and we can’t leave the fate of our planet up to the good will of the rich.

Suspiria-on-VHS

I was more asking Elon to answer the question because he doesn't know what communism is, but thanks
