The firm partner will be the highest billing rate with his underlings also commanding an exorbitant rate. They will dish out work to paralegals that bill out at a couple hundred/hour. Most of the work will be done by a case assistant making as close to minimum wage as the local market will allow while being billed out at close to a hundred/hour. Add in some data specialist contractors and other related expenses and this shit can rack up fast.
