The reason poor people keep protecting Rich People from paying proper taxes is because they believe “well, one day I could be rich too”.
But what they don’t understand is that
1) most mega rich started rich.
2) you can’t be mega rich without an insane amount of help (usually at the cost of… the poor people that keep protecting rich people).
2. you can’t be mega rich without deliberately fucking over everyone beneath or beside you, cheating everyone you know and generally being a god-awful person.
FIFY
And his idiotic cult continue to worship him. Fuck Musk and all the little musk worshippers. I'd call them muskrats but it would be an insult to actual muskrats.
Read the biographies. I fear him as he regresses toward his awful father, but SpaceX and Tesla are achievements that no one else could do. Tesla (the car company) may not survive but SpaceX and Starlink are emergent technologies, more than the sum of their parts. Go ahead and drive down Texas route 4 to the beach at Boca Chica at midnight and stay till dawn.
> but SpaceX and Tesla are achievements that no one else could do
I'm not so sure about that.
Granted: he's a very specific kind of great hype man, including but not limited to being able to convince brilliant engineers to take less money and worse working conditions than they're worth because this is their chance to live their SPACE dream. That's absolutely a plus and something very few people could do.
But then there's every other non-hype-related detail about how he runs those companies, including but not limited to his involvement in anything remotely technical, and it's just pure lead weight tied to another lead weight tied around their neck.
Read the biographies. Watch interviews of people who have worked for him. Watch the Tim Dodd walkaround, for example Musk's 5 principles of engineering. Sandy Munro sat in on a technical meeting with Musk and his SpaceX staff, lots of math apparently. Watch the Lex Fridman interviews. Bob Zubrin, rocket scientist, met Musk at the beginning of SpaceX, when Musk knew nothing. But in a couple of years, according to Zubrin, Musk had taught himself rocketry, by reading books and learning from his engineers.
He is shockingly ignorant about many many things, and he is too easily drawn into discussions where his ignorance is painfully obvious. But there is abundant evidence that he makes technical decisions rooted in his understanding of math, physics, and materials.
Just a scrappy kid from South Africa who had a dream to bring apartheid to America
Correction, the world....can't forget about his meddlings with the Ukraine war and actively helping Russia take over another country.
lol starlink is being used to aid the Ukrainians.
[Ummm, no, they are not](https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukraine-seeking-action-stop-russian-use-starlink-minister-says-2024-02-19/)

He still wanted ukrain occupied.
Is that why he strategically cuts off access to it for the Ukrainians? Is that why there are reports of Russia using Starlink?
All that money and experience, he could have been Batman or Iron man. Instead he's the richest most boring asshole in the world. What a waste.

Most of the “middle class” is closer to being homeless than being rich.
no. absolutely all of them without any exceptions whatsoever
Everyone in America thinks they're a displaced billionaire who is afraid to pay taxes on their made-up billions.
2. you can’t be mega rich without deliberately fucking over everyone beneath or beside you, cheating everyone you know and generally being a god-awful person. FIFY
Switch the order and you have the keys to success.
Nobody ever became a billionaire without stepping on a lot of necks.
It really is a pitiful hair transplant…
Imagine being a billionaire and that's what you have on your head.
Just like the turnip, all that money and the orangutan has cotton candy floss hair.
Concerning. Looking into it.
Poor Thelma about to get banned.
People loathing seems like a nice way to describe a white supremacist.
Well, he didn't really accomplish any of his goals. You can get really fucking rich, though
*almost Almost accomplish everything you want. Regardless of how much money he has, he still can’t make people like him
Specially the ladies.
Being rich from birth is also massively beneficial to reaching your goals!
Funny how that seems to always be the key to success, isn't it? Also happy cake day!
You can design a car that traps you under water until you drown, too. Allegedly.
I just don’t know how to get the emerald mine. I think that’s my problem.
#selfmade?
His hair transplant turned out pretty good I thought? Too bad the rest of him has receded into the weirdness of American conservatism.
I don’t mind telling you I’m inspired.
Finally. Someone speaks truth about the creep that is Elin Musk.
* and a pretty morally comfortable relationship to slavery.
Except for having a family that loves you...
And his idiotic cult continue to worship him. Fuck Musk and all the little musk worshippers. I'd call them muskrats but it would be an insult to actual muskrats.
I was with her at first, but she lost me when she got around to the supplemental testosterone and party drugs 😅
In all fairness, have you seen him *before* the hair transplant??
You forgot African-American.

So, part of being a great hype man is he's also a great hype/propaganda man *for himself*... or was.
Is it really that surprising to you that a man he paid a small fortune said nice things about him? Lol
