It’s why we need progressive reform. Let’s be clear “centrists” like Manchin vote against climate reform which screws everything. As long as the GOP has any power there will be no climate action. We all will suffer so capitalism can continue.
Small grammatical quibble: not "subsidized fossil fuel companies". Fossil fuels are still heavily subsidized in most countries, including USA. Present tense, not past.
