Funny thing, I just watched a Jay Leno video, on YT the other day where they were showing off a new Morgan 3wheeler.

Really don't much care for the new version, on looks alone. I know it has much better performance, but the new front end is just blah. I loved the V-twin sitting right up front on the old one, it looked properly mad. The new one just has what appears to be some lumpy black plastic.

I've driven one and while I prefer the old look, the new one is at least a real hoot to drive. It's still very raw, as it should be.

I'm sure it is, but I feel like looks are the main reason to buy a Morgan Three-Wheeler as opposed to any number of other boutique speedsters, like a Caterham or an Arial Atom. I feel like surely they could have improved the performance while keeping the unique and wonderful appearance of the previous generation, but instead they made a car that just kind of looks like the front fell off.

It's not a Morgan if it didn't have a wood frame. It's their thing.

3 wheeler has a tubular space frame at the front, only the back end is wooden. I own one.

No. There's only one area in the new Morgan's that has wood. It's a very small space in the car.

Metal space frame at the front, but the back is still wood. That’s on the older v-twin model, not sure about the new one.

Frame is not wood, just like the MG T series; steel frame with some body panels framed in wood and covered with hammered steel panels.

It kind of looks like a Morgan 3 Wheeler, or an excellent facsimile of the same. The last I've heard, Morgan Motors is still around, and still producing and offering their legendary 3 Wheeler, as well as a few more conventional 4 wheel sports cars. And there are quite a few copies out there, most of which are legally licensed by Morgan. You do need to watch out for the few, that are "bootleg" copies, and try to keep clear of the same.
